Fig. 1 die Flasche mit einem Verschluss,
Fig. 2 den Verschluss und
Container with closure
The present invention relates to a container with a closure, in particular a bottle.
On bottles made of thin material, e.g. B. plastic material, sealing has long been a difficult problem. Conventional means, e.g. B. screw caps have been used to some extent. In another method, the opening is welded shut. However, special tools are then required to open the bottles, which is a disadvantage. The closure can also be provided with a weak point to tear open, but this weakens such a closure weld.
In order to effectively close containers, especially those with thin walls, the present invention provides a container with a closure, in particular a bottle, which container is distinguished by an inwardly folded lip attached to the container wall in the vicinity of the container opening by a cap with a cover part and a pin part, the latter being provided with a flange at its end remote from the cover part and the container being rubber-elastic at least in the region of its opening and / or the cap being rubber-elastic, the cover part against a shoulder on the Betäl teroberseite presses and an edge of the lip is sealing against said flange.
An embodiment of the invention is shown in the drawing using a bottle. Show it:
Fig. 1 the bottle with a closure,
Fig. 2 the closure and
Fig. 3 shows a part of Fig. 2 on a larger scale.
The bottle 1 shown is intended to be closed with a cap 2. The bottle rim adjacent to the opening is designed in a special way in order to obtain a completely secure closure. The term closure here thus includes both the bottle rim and the cap anchored on it. The shape of the closure is evident from FIG. 2, which shows a vertical section through the closure. The edge of the bottle is folded or bent inwards towards the center of the opening and downwards towards the bottom of the bottle to form a lip 6. The bottle, or at least this lip 6, is best made of a rubber-elastic material, e.g. B. Plastic, as its resilient properties are used.
The realization of this idea emerges from the following special description. The lip 6 forms a sharp edge 7 at its free end facing downwards towards the bottom of the bottle.
The cap 2 consists of a cover 3 and a hollow pin 5, which are connected to one another by a web 12. The cap 2 is also best made of a rubber-elastic material, so that the lid 2 forms a cup-like spring and the pin 5 a tubular spring. The pin has at its lower end a flange 8 with a roof 9; and between the flange 8 and the cover 3 there is another flange 10. In the web 12 between the flange 10 and the cover 3, a line of weakness 11 in the form of a deep notch is provided in the web 12, the bottom of the notch on the web 12 having a suit. The cover 3 has a finger grip 4.
The bottle is closed as follows: A cap 2 with a roof 9 is placed on the bottle opening, the latter sitting on the surfaces forming the opening. By pressing on the center of the lid 3 by means of a device not shown, the pin 5 is inserted into the bottle opening, the cup-like spring, i. H. the cover 3 is placed under tension. The lip 6 is pushed further aside by the roof 9, and the flange 8 shifts completely past the lip 6, so that the latter snaps over the flange 8 and engages behind it. The lid 3, the overall diameter of which is slightly larger than that of the top of the bottle, came into contact with the bottle a little earlier. The point of contact is denoted by 13 in FIG. 3.
Thus, apart from the friction, two forces counteract the last phase of pushing in, namely the force between the lip 6 and the roof 9, and the pressure force between the lid 3 and the bottle. Therefore, the compression on the center of the lid 3 must be increased, whereby the tension of the cup-like spring is further increased. After the lip 6 has snapped into place, the package is closed. The edge 7 is supported on the upper side of the flange 8 in the corner formed by the rib of the pin 5 and the upper side of the flange 8. A completely tight seal is maintained by three forces, namely the spring forces of the lip 6, the pin 5 and the lid 3.
If there is overpressure in the container or bottle, e.g. B. if the filling is Selterwasser or a carbonated drink, the sealing of the closure is strengthened, namely due to the fact that this creates a pressure on the inside of the lid, which exerts an upward force on the pin and so the Force between the edge 7 and the flange 8 increased. The further sealing point of the lid 3 at 13 also prevents soiling or contamination of the bottle opening.
The line-up of the container or bottle is arranged as follows: By grasping the finger grip 4 and pulling it upwards, the lid 3 is torn off the pin 5 along the aforementioned line of weakness. The crack occurs in the narrowest or narrowest part of the web 12, bones or beards in the tear area being largely avoided. On the other hand, the pin 5 remains in the bottle opening, since its removal is prevented by the two flanges 8 and 10. This gives the bottle an attractive appearance because the sharp edge 7 is covered.
