Gate valves, in particular bulk material valves, for the outlet opening of silos or bunkers
The invention relates to a gate valve, in particular bulk material gate valve, for the outlet opening of silos or bunkers, with a flat housing sealed against the closure plate with connecting elements, the closure plate rotating or pivoting about a rotation or pivot axis lying laterally next to the flow cross-section transversely to the flow direction of the flow medium is pivotable.
Flat slide closures for the outlet opening of silos or bunkers, which are used for the storage of dry, layered materials such as grain, flour, sugar, cement, minerals, ores and the like, are known. The stored goods are filled into sch ach-like cells at the top and can be tapped through special openings. In order to enable the filling material to flow out well, the silo bottoms are mostly funnel-shaped, on the underside of which the removal or gate valve is installed. The known silo or bunker closures have the disadvantage that they are unwieldy and expensive and in some cases do not meet the requirements.
The problem on which the invention is based is to eliminate the disadvantages and difficulties that exist with the known. The invention is based in particular on the object of creating a closure which, both by hand and also by force, can cut through standing or slowly downward flowing or rapidly downward flowing bulk material columns and close in a pressure-tight manner.
The gate valve according to the invention is characterized in that the closure plate is designed as a slide blade which can be displaced between two parallel opposing housing plates, which has a passage opening outside its axis of rotation or pivoting, the size and shape of which is adapted to the inlet opening of a connecting element, and which is in the open position can be inserted between opposing housing plate openings on which the inlet and outlet connection members are placed.
The adjustment path of the slide blade is expediently limited by a recess machined into the connection member, within which a slide blade actuating lever can be pivoted out.
The invention is explained in more detail below with reference to the drawings for an exemplary embodiment.
Fig. 1 shows a flat bulk material slide according to the invention in cross section.
FIG. 2 is a top view illustration of the bulk material slide of FIG. 1.
FIG. 3 shows, on an enlarged scale, a section of the illustration according to FIG. 1. This section shows the inserted slide seal when the slide blade is missing.
Fig. 3a shows the inserted slide seal in contact with the slide blade.
The bulk material slide according to FIGS. 1 and 2 consists of a circular slide blade 1 which is rotatable about a vertical axis 4 between a circular upper housing part 2 and a circular lower housing part 3.
The upper housing part 2 of the bulk material slide is provided with an inlet opening 2a, which corresponds to the passage opening la of the slide blade 1 and the outlet opening 3a of the lower housing part 3.
The two housing parts 2 and 3 are designed on their side facing away from the slide leaf 1 as connecting flanges 5 and 5a according to DIN 2532 ND 10 and thus enable attachment to containers, pipelines, etc. The bulk material slide leaf 1 is through the vertical axis 4 with a loose actuating lever 6 connected, which is pivoted to open or close the slide.
The slide blade 1 moving between the upper housing part 2 and the lower housing part 3 is designed in its through hole la so that when the actuating lever 6 is pivoted, the position of the through hole la changes and a shear effect arises during use, which cuts through or displaces the bulk material.
The respective end position of the bulk material slide blade 1 is reached through the sector-like recess 9 (see FIG. 2) in the connection flange 5a.
A seal 8 is installed to seal the slide. This seal is shown enlarged in FIGS. 3 and 3a in comparison with FIG. 1 and contains a wiper lip 8a. The seal 8 is inserted into a cutout 10 in the upper housing part 2 in such a way that it can yield elastically and adaptably within this cutout into cavities that would otherwise remain free when the slide is used.
The profile of the seal, as shown in FIG. 3, is crowned over the entire upper part, while only the sealing edge 8b is crowned in the lower part. Between the sealing edge 8b and the sealing lip 8a, the sealing ring 8 contains a wide, flat pill 8c. The high outer flank 8d of the sealing ring is slightly inclined towards the outside towards the center line of the passage openings 2a and 3a (approximately 2 to 30). On the inside, the sealing ring also contains a nose-like projection 8e, which can be inserted into a corresponding cutout in the housing part 2 when the seal is installed in 10. In the same way as 8d, the inner flank of the cutout 10 is also inclined, but this inclination is directed inwards.
The sealing ring 8 is advantageously made of a synthetic rubber based on perbunan. The special shape of the sealing ring 8, shown in detail in FIGS. 3 and 3a, ensures a perfect seal even with a high switching frequency of the slide. In the selected shape, the seal 8 is still effective even at low pressures, so that the slide can easily be operated by hand. When the slide is in use, the seal is held on the flank of the cutout at 8d without being pulled out.
The slide blade 1 itself does not run against a stop, so that it is not exposed to any violent damage. The circular flow opening provides a favorable cutting effect when cutting through a standing column of bulk material and thus a low power requirement.
The parts 7 in FIGS. 1 and 2 serve to guide and support the slide blade 1. A concentric mounting enables pressure-tight mounting and sealing to the outside by means of O-rings.
The axis 4 is carried out in an advantageous manner only on one side.
The guide part is z. B. a slide bolt 7. The easy operation of the slide blade 1 is improved by the bronze slide bolt 7 in the housing upper part and lower housing part.
As can be seen from FIG. 1, the bulk material slide contains an enlarged conical outlet in the lower part (compare the conicity at 10), which ensures perfect functioning even when the column is standing.
The opening edge of the opening la of the slide leaf list, as shown in FIG. 1, has a sharp ring cutting edge.
A particular advantage of the bulk material slide described is the ease with which the slide blade 1 and all seals can be replaced on the spot.
The special design of the seal has the technical advantage that the seal body is not pulled out during the closing body movements, that the mechanical stresses can only have a minimum effect and that the operating force on the slide lever hardly needs to be increased by the built-in sealing ring (8).
