Le dessin annexé représente, à titre d'exemple, une forme d'exécution de l'objet de la présente in vention la fig. 1 montre l'assemblage de quatre éléments ; la fig. 2 est une coupe longitudinale au travers d'un élément, selon une variante ; la fig. 3 est une coupe de détail selon 111-11I de la fi-. 1 ; la fig. 4 est une vue en perspective d'un autre détail ; La fi-. 5 est une vue en plan d'une variante d'exécution, et la fig. 6 une coupe selon VI-VI de la fig. 5 ;
Device for assembling at least three tubular elements The present invention relates to a device for assembling at least three tubular elements, characterized, on the one hand, by at least one hook arranged in each element in the vicinity of the 'one of its ends and by at least one return member of this hook tending to pull it inside the element and, on the other hand, by a common connecting frame allowing said elements to be fixed to one another. the other by their hooks so as to form, by these elements, the top of a polyhedron.
The accompanying drawing shows, by way of example, an embodiment of the subject of the present invention, FIG. 1 shows the assembly of four elements; fig. 2 is a longitudinal section through an element, according to a variant; fig. 3 is a detail section according to 111-11I of the fi-. 1; fig. 4 is a perspective view of another detail; The fi-. 5 is a plan view of an alternative embodiment, and FIG. 6 a section along VI-VI of FIG. 5;
fig. 7 shows a construction produced by assembling the elements of FIG. 1.
In fig. 1 is shown an assembly of four tubular elements, 1 to 4, connected to each other by hooks 5 to 8 engaging a spider ring 9.
Each of these hooks 5 to 8 is constituted by a curved end of a rod 10 extending inside the corresponding element and fixed at its end to a spring 11 which can be either anchored to the element 1 by a pin such as 11a (fig. 2), or be fixed to the end of a second rod 10a, similar to the rod 10 and having like the latter a hook not shown allowing, with the element 1 shown, to form an assembly of the same type as that visible in fig. 1.
The bent end of the hook 5 is bent at 90 to form a lug 5a capable of being engaged in an opening 1a made in the element 1. This lug 5a is intended for the axial locking of the rod 10 inside the lug. 'element 1, once this rod has been fixed to the spider 9.
The arrangement of the rods, the ends of which constitute the hooks 6, 7 and 8, inside the corresponding elements 2, 3 and 4 is in all respects similar to that which has just been described with reference to the element 1.
The spider 9 is formed by four half-rings secured to one another at their ends (fig. 3).
Although in the assembly shown in fig. 1, the elements 1 to 4 extend in the same plane, it is obvious that it is possible to form with these four elements a polyhedron, in this case a quadrangular pyramid whose reinforcement 9 would be the vertex and whose elements 1 to 4 would constitute the lateral sides.
The relative positioning of the various elements can be achieved very easily by tilting these elements relative to each other, the hooks 5 to 8 with which they are provided for mant toggle with the ring portions of the frame 9 and protruding out of the respective elements in a more or less pronounced way against the return springs 11, depending on the angular position given to each element.
As a variant, the spider 9 could well in tension present a number of possibilities of joining greater than four so as to allow the assembly of more elements.
When these elements are three in number, the spider could be replaced by a single ring in which the hooks of each element would be passed.
Thanks to the assembly device described, it is possible to assemble elements of different lengths and at any angles so as, for example, to be able to produce a framework of the type shown in FIG. 7, intended in particular to support advertising and decorative panels.
These panels would then be fixed to the various elements by a device of the type visible in FIG. 4 consisting of a sleeve 12 capable of being positioned on the element by sliding and fixed thereon by a screw (not shown), this sleeve having for example a tab 13 forming one of the jaws of a collet of the panel, the other jaw being constituted by a plate 14 capable of being clamped on the plate 13 by a screw 15. The panel can be clamped directly between the plates 13 or 14 or, in a variant, include a tab capable of 'be gripped by these plates and provided with an opening allowing the passage of the screw 15.
Other assemblies of elements are also possible: in particular an element of the type shown in FIG. 1 could very well also be attached to another similar element, rectilinear or slightly curved (fig. 5), end to end with this element or on its side.
For this purpose, the end hook of the element would engage on the side of the one to which it should be fixed by means of a double ring support 16 (fi- 6), </ B> the larger diameter ring being intended to be passed around the element and the small diameter ring to engage with the hook of the element to be fixed: In another variant, not shown, it would fit well It is also understood that it is possible to assemble entirely curved elements in polyhedron.
The device shown is very solid and can be mounted very easily: in addition to the use of FIG. 7, this device can also be adapted to the assembly of displays, exhibition stands, pavilions, sheds, demountable halls, greenhouses. It can also be miniaturized to make a toy.
