wie z. B. organische a- oder ss@Hydroxy-carbons'äuren oider :einen :a,ö Hydroxy"o',amino- oder o-Hydroxy- ö -caiboxy-azofarb,stoff enthalten, wobei ein koordi- nierter o;
Man; metallisiert :
Kuippl'ungsreaktion be- schleunigenden Mitteln;, wie tertiäre Stickstoffbasen, z.
onsäure und Casb@onsäureamid- und gegebenenfallsauch Nitrogmpipen. Diese acycli- schen Reste sind bevorzugte Substituenten der .als Ausgangsstoffe verwendbaren 1Xa,zinylamino-o,o'-di- hydroxyazoverbindungen;
die Ausgangsistoffe können jedoch gegebenenfalls ,auch cyclische Reste, wie z. B. Phenyl-, Phenoxy-, Phenylazo-, P;
Für die Anwendung zum Klotzen und Bedrucken von Cellulosefasern ist es wichtig, ,dass die erfin- dungsgemäss erhaltenen;
Bevorzugte verfahrensgemäss erhaltene Farbstoffe enthalten die Diazinylaminogrupp;e in ortho- oder para-Stellung zu :dem im;
Beispiel 1

Die Diazoniumsalzlösung,
hergestellt durch Di- .azotieren von 24,6 Teilen 2-Amino-6-acetylamino-- 1-hydroxy-benzol-4-,sulfonsäure mit 6,9 Teilen N.a- triumnitrit in Gegenwart von, Salzsäure, wird mit der Lösung von .30 Teilen;

Process for the production of metal-containing reactive azo dyes: The object of the is a process for the production of metal-containing, reactive azo dyes of the formula 1
EMI0001.0012
referring to Cellulois @ e- and Poly:
Let amid fibers fix and produce very light and wet-fast dyeings on this material.
du of the above formula, mean: X is a diazinylamino group, the organic radical of which contains at least one mobile substituent, which reacts with alkalis, taking along the pair of bonding electrons: A is an optionally substituted, at most binuclear radical of the benzene series which:
contains the oxygen in the o-position to the azo bond, B an optionally substituted radical of the naphthalene series which contains the oxygen in the o-position to the azo bond,
Me a heavy metal of atomic number 24 to 29 or a .mit, a; further complexing agent burudenes metal atom of this type, and n is an integer from 1 to i at most: 5.
The process according to the invention for the production of the reactive azo dyes of the formula I is characterized by @ das, s:
a metallizable connection of the forms 11
EMI0001.0076
for which the symbols X, A, B and n have the meanings given in formula I, with one, a heavy metal, the atomic numbers, 24-.2,9 or:
treated a metal of this type introducing agent linked to another complexing agent. Valuable dyes are obtained primarily with chromium, cobalt and nickel, and especially. valuable with copper donate the funds. These metals are used in the usual form,
for example, as mineral acid or fatty acid salts. If necessary, complex salts, including the coordinatively hexavalent metals chromium and cobalt, can also be used as the metal, introducing agent, which are complex, uncolored or colored compounds,
such as B. organic a- or ss @ hydroxy-carboxylic acids oider: a, ö Hydroxy "o ', amino or o-Hydroxy- ö -caiboxy-azo-color, containing a coordinated o;
o @ -dihydroxy-azo dye mixes Odem dye of the formula 1I identical or: can be different. The conditions for the metallization of the diazinyl-aminōazofanbsto @ ffs are to be chosen so that the mobile substituents bound to the azine ring are retained.
The pH of the reaction medium and the reaction temperature should therefore be as low as possible. Man; metallized:
for example in the presence of ammonia or a tertiary amine as a mineral acid blunting agent, but advantageously in the presence of an alkali salt of a lower fatty acid at a moderately elevated temperature,
such as between 30 and 8ss.
The starting materials of the formula I1 required for the process according to the invention are obtained from known intermediate dye products by methods known per se. Man flails using the if necessary
Coupling reaction accelerating agents, such as tertiary nitrogen bases, e.g. B. a nitro @ -o-hydmoxy- or acylamine: o-o-hydoxy-, in particular an acetylamino-o #, hydro @ xy-idi-azo compound. Der B:

obtained aminoazo dye with a diazo compound containing at least two mobile reactive substituents in such a way that according to:
After the diazinylation of the dye has taken place, at least one mobile reactive substituent is still present. The diazo and azo components used can also contain other
contain common substituents in azo dyes, such as halogen, cyano, ascyl, alkoxy, sulfonic acid, sulfonic acid amide or ester, as well as car b:
on acid and casb @ on acid amide and optionally also nitrogmpipen. These acyclic radicals are preferred substituents of the 1Xa, zinylamino-o, o'-dihydroxyazo compounds which can be used as starting materials;
However, the starting materials can optionally, including cyclic radicals, such as. B. phenyl, phenoxy, phenylazo, P;
henylsulfonyl and phenyl sulfone, acid amido or carb, ons, acid amido groups, in which the phenyl groups can be further substituted.
D, the substituent X, d. H. The, diazynyl amino group, can be at any point of the at most divalent radical of the benzene series.
For the application for padding and printing cellulose fibers, it is important that the obtained according to the invention;
Dyes in the form of their alkali salts are very soluble even in saline and weakly acidic aqueous liquor.
This good solubility in water is to be ensured by the choice or the starting components, namely in such a way that preferably 2 to 3 sulfonic acid groups are present. These are advantageous on the two residues of the diazo-un:
d azo components distributed, but can also be partly in the di.azinylamino radical.
Preferred dyes obtained according to the process contain the diazinylamino group; e in the ortho or para position to: the im;
Remainder A present oxygen, as well as in parabmw. a sulfonic acid group ortho to the oxygen. A second class of preferred dyes contains the diazinylamino group in para,
Position for azo connection. In this case, a substituent may also be present in the para position to the oxygen, and was advantageously halogen, an alkyl, alkylsulfonyl or sulfonic acid group.
The azo dyes obtained according to the invention are red to isblack powders and, in the form of their alkali salts, are particularly easily soluble in water. RTI ID = "0002.0257" WI = "9" HE = "4" LX = "1706" LY = "582">. They are suitable for dyeing and printing fiber material, especially those made from natural or regenerated cellulose and polyamide fibers,
in red ,. red-brown, violet, blue, green to dark gray tones. The cellulose material is best impregnated or printed at a low temperature:
for example at 20-50 C, with the optionally thickened dye solution and then fixed the dye by treatment with acid-binding agents. These include, for example, sodium carbonate, potassium carbonate, di- and tri-sodium isphate, sodium hydroxide solution, Potassium hydroxide,
Potassium or sodium bicarbonate can also be used at temperatures above 50 C. Although the treatment with these agents can already be carried out at room temperature or at a slightly higher temperature, it is often done (advantageous after a gentle intermediate drying of the impregnated or printed goods)
with; better success at elevated temperature, e.g. B. carried out at 70.160 C. Instead of an alkaline aftertreatment, the acid-binding agent can also be added to the impregnation liquors or printing pastes, especially in the case of hot fixation, and
then cause the color to develop by briefly heating to temperatures above 1'00 ° C. to 160 ° C. or by prolonged storage,, at room temperature. The addition of hydrotropic agents to the printing inks and Imipregnierflotten is advantageous in this process,
for example the addition of urea in amounts ranging from 10 to 20101 grams. per liter of dye.
, The treatment with acid-binding agents causes the new dyes to be chemically mixed on the fiber,
bound. and the cellulose traps produced with it are, according to Odem soaps, excellent wetfast and very good lightfast for the purpose of removing unfixed dye. So there is usually only a small amount of
of dye can be removed and the dyeings therefore do not show any major differences in color strength before and after this: process, should be rated as a further technical advantage of these new dyes:
Furthermore, they are characterized by a low substantivity, which results in the fact that the non-fixed dye can be washed out very well as the material to be dyed. Finally:
pointed to another valuable property of the dyes according to the invention, namely their relatively good stability in an alkaline medium, thanks to which they are particularly,
well suited for use in more durable printing pastes. In the examples: the temperatures are given in degrees Celsius.
Unless otherwise expressly stated, the parts are parts by weight. Parts by weight relate to parts by volume as grams to cm3. Example 1

The mixture is stirred for one hour at 60-65, then the coppered monoazo dye is precipitated with sodium chloride, filtered off, washed with sodium chloride solution and dried in vacuo at 60-80. The copper-containing dye is a dark powder that dissolves in water with a ruby red color.
If cotton is mixed with a 10% aqueous solution of this dye, which still contains 20 grams of sodium carbonate and 200 grams of urea per liter, at 50 fo:
ularded, the impregnated goods dried and then heated to 140L-, 160 'for 4 minutes and finally during! Boiling for 30 minutes, soaped: this gives a deep ruby-red color with good light .. and good wet fastness properties.
Similar dyes are obtained if, in the above example, instead of: the 24.6 parts of 2-amino-6-iacetylamino-1-hydroxy-, benzene-4-sulfonic acid, the equivalent amount of 2-amino-6-acetylamino-4-methyl - 1 hydroxybenzene or, instead of the 18.5 parts of 2,4,6-trichloropyrimidine, the equivalent amount of 5 bromo-2,4,6-trichloropyrimidine, 2,4,5,6-tetrachloropyrimidine,
2,4,5,6-tetrabromopyrimidine, 5-acetyl 2,4,6-trichloro-, pyrimidine, 5 nitrilo 2,4,6 trichloropyrmidine or 2,4,6-trib: rempyrimidine are used.
Copper-containing dyes with similar properties: are also obtained if the 30.3 parts of 1-hydroxynaphthalene-3,8-disulfonic acid in the above example are replaced by an equivalent amount of one of the coupling components listed in the table below.
