s zubringen und es von @demselben aus antreiben zu können. Bei bekannten Kassetten @die- ser Art wird das Tonband nach dem Anbringen ;
der Kassette .am Wiedergabe- und/oder Aufzeich nungsgerät durch eine in diesem Gerät vorgesehene Rolle, die man verschwenken muss, gefasst .und ge gen eine Antriebswelle gedrückt. Dies hat, wie eine genaue Untersuchung .gezeigt hat, zahlreiche Nach- teile: das Justieren der Andruckrolle ist schwierig, iso d:ass .das Band nicht immer :glatt an :der Antriebs welle liegt;
Die Erfindung vermeidet diese Nachteile @da- ,durch, dass in -der Kassette eine Andruckrolle vor gesehen ist, die dazu bestimmt ist, bei Einsetzen der Kassette in das Gerät ;das Tonband gegen :eine in letzterem vorgesehene Antriebswelle zudrücken, und ,dass die Achse dieser Andruckrolle verschiebbar ,ge lagert ;
ebo- idens und ,des Deckels 2 verschiebbar sind. Die bei den Schenkel 24 einer U-förmig gebogenen Stahl- drahtfeder 25 liegen in kleinen Nuten 26 der Achse 22 und drücken auf dieselbe in Richtung :des in Fig. 4 mit 27 bezeichneten ;
Pfeiles.
Tape cassette with endless tape The invention: relates to a tape cassette: with endless tape, which is wound on or hub of a freely rotating plate ble, guides are seen in front of the tape in the area or heads of a sound reproduction and '/ or @recording - control devices:
s and to be able to drive it from @ the same. With known cassettes @ of this type, the tape is after attachment;
the cassette .on the playback and / or recording device by a roller provided in this device which must be pivoted .and pressed against a drive shaft. As a detailed investigation has shown, this has numerous disadvantages: the adjustment of the pressure roller is difficult, iso d: ass. The belt is not always: smoothly: the drive shaft lies;
the belt is stretched quite strongly when the roller is swiveled in and may be damaged as a result; the relatively large opening required for pivoting the roller in the cassette housing weakens the cassette housing and allows dust and larger impurities to easily enter the housing.
The invention avoids these disadvantages by the fact that a pressure roller is seen in the cassette, which is intended to press the tape against: a drive shaft provided in the latter when the cassette is inserted into the device, and that the Axis of this pressure roller displaceable, ge superimposed;
is so @ that the same thing under the action of a spring on one part of the cassette housing remains dust-tight as long as the cassette is not inserted into the device.
Measures are preferably taken to reduce the drive power for the tape, in particular to keep the friction during winding and unwinding of this tape so small that the cassette. Also in small, mainly for entertainment purposes, serving tape recorders can be used, while the previously known cassettes mostly only in complicated devices,
such as telephone answering machines, echo devices and the like, were used. Measures are also preferably taken to prevent the build-up of electrostatic charges on the tape.
The drawing shows an exemplary embodiment of the subject matter of the invention. 1 shows a top view of a tape cassette with a partially broken cover, FIG. 2 shows a section along line II-II from FIG. 1, FIG. 3 shows a view along arrow III from FinG. 1, Fig. 4 shows a corner part of Fig. 1 in:
larger scale and FIG. 5 the same corner portion as in FIG. 4 in a different position.
The tape cassette shown has a housing 1 of rectangular shape and small height, which is closed by a cover 2. A plate 3, which is provided with a hub 4, is freely rotatably supported on an axis 5. An endless tape 6 is wound onto the hub 4, the winding body of which is only indicated in FIG. 2 by dash-dotted lines.
The run running from the winding body during operation: the tape 6 is in; the proper. 1 and 2 with 6 ', the running strand with 6 ". The hub 4 overhanging the plate 3 is conical, and the inclination angle n of its generatrix to the axis 5 is preferably equal to 12.
As numerous tests have shown, the force required to pull out the strand 6 'from the interior of the roll is the smallest at this angle.
To the friction of the belt: on idem. To make plate 3 as small as possible, the same core is provided with radial support ribs 7. Radial ribs 8 are also provided on the cover 2; the same serve (to: hold down the tape roll on the plate 3 or its hub 4.
The tape 6 runs over from the tape platter 3: a brass tube 9 fixed to the housing, en which (it is deflected, over; a rotatably mounted roller 10. Made of plastic; z.
B. Delrin, which is used to switch off the sound reproduction in a manner explained later, and via a rubber roller 11, on which it is deflected like that.
The rubber roller 11 serves as a pressure roller in connection with a drive shaft 12 (see FIGS. 4 and 5) to drive: the tape 6, wherein: the drive shaft 12 is in the device that is used for playing (the tape 6 is used.
A leaf spring 13, which is attached to the housing 1: presses with a piece of felt 14 attached to its free end, the tape 6: against Ida's brass tube 9. This is enough, @that there, s tape 6 between the rubber roller 11 and : your pipe 9 has a constant tension.
In addition, the possibly nickel-plated or chrome-plated brass tube 9,, on its circumference; the band 6 over a large central angle of z. B.: about 145 grinds, avoiding that (the fire 6 is electrostatically charged, as is the case with conventional cassettes with plastic pulley.
These electrostatic charges (which only come into play after playing the tape several times, but: then: cause a very unpleasant crackling sound, are completely avoided in the long run with the present cassette.
The playback, deletion and recording of the tape takes place by means of audio or erase heads, not shown,
which are provided in the tape recorder and can be done by inserting the cassette in @. Areas of the incisions designated by 15 of the housing 1 are pressed against the belt 6, which then the shut-off roller 10 on a. :
touched somewhat larger part of its scope. It should be noted in this regard that the cassette in the playback area, the audio tape 6, has no side wall.
It is also emphasized that (the playback level 16 (see FIG. 3) of the tape 6 is about 2.5 mm higher than its winding level 17 (see FIG. 2), which (also essential to reduce the drive power required for : the volume 6 contributes.
The power is so low that the present cassette - in contrast to known cassettes - can be used in portable "battery-powered devices. The shut-off roller 10 has:
3, two guide shoulders 18, between which Idas tape 6 is located, and a central annular groove 19. The tape has a short longitudinal slot 20 at the end of its sound track or Tonspu ren, and the tape recorder is a switch-off :
el) pivotable: mounted, which has a free end 21 (see Fig. 1), which (the groove 19 is opposite and is pressed by a spring against the band 6. When the slot 20 comes to the shut-off tube 10, snaps:
the He belende 21 through the same into the groove 19, which a pivoting of the lever in; its off, switch position has to Folpe.
In this way: the device is automatically: switched off at the end of the audio recording. It goes without saying that several shut-off slots 20 could also be provided on the same tape 6.
The rubber roller 11 is rotatably mounted on a shaft 22: (see Fig. 3-5),: its ends in two parallel slots 23 of the housing:
ebo- idens and, of the cover 2 are displaceable. The steel wire spring 25 bent into a U-shape at the legs 24 are located in small grooves 26 of the axis 22 and press on the same in the direction of: the one designated in FIG.
Arrow. The spring 25 is in the vicinity of its yoke part 28 bent and fastened in a gap 29 of an intermediate wall 30, which prevents the penetration of dust to the main part of the housing interior containing the tape disc 3. As long as :
the cassette is not inserted into the device, the rubber roller 11 comes to rest under the action of the spring 25 on a bevel 31'i of a housing wall part 31, which provides good dust sealing and tensioning and Firmly hold the tape in the loose cassette guarantees.
When writing RTI ID = "0002.0244" WI = "5" HE = "4" LX = "1539" LY = "1219"> in the cassette: that device, the drive shaft 12 enters my recess 32 of the housing and presses the tape 6 ge @gzn (the rubber roller 11 and thereby the latter away from the bevel 31 '.
When the shaft 12 is rotated, the tape 6 is now taken along, the axis 22 being automatically adjusted so that the roller 11 lies smoothly on the shaft 12 over the tape 6.
In order to prevent the plate 3 from moving when the loose cassette is being transported, a brake 33 is provided. The same has a lever 34 which is pivotable about a pin 35 Gela Gert. An arm 36 of the lever 34 carries (one, e.g.
B. consisting of a rubber hose brake lining 37 which (when the cassette is loose, under the action of a spring 38, lies on the circumference of the dull plate 3. The end of another arm 39 of the lever 34 lies there at a short distance from the roller axis 22.
When, when inserting the cassette in the device, the rubber roller 11 is moved into the operating position: according to FIG.
In order to ensure a correct fit of the cassette in the device, a centering hole 40 is provided in the bottom of the housing 1, in Idas: a retaining bolt provided on a slide in the device can snap. The centering hole 40 is preferably formed slightly conical.
