Zum Trocknen der Hände bestimmte Vorrichtung Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft eine zum Trocknen der Hände bestimmte Vorrichtung, die ein Gehäuse aufweist, das mit Mitteln zum Auslassen von Warmluft durch eine Öffnung des Bodens ver sehen ist.
Die Vorrichtung ist erfindungsgemäss dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass im Gehäuse ein Handtuchhalter herausnehmbar angeordnet ist, der zur Aufnahme eines Stapels von durchschiessenden Handtüchern ausgebildet und so beschaffen ist, dass ein vorbe stimmter Endteil des jeweils untersten Handtuches aus dem Gehäuseboden herausragt, wobei Mittel vor gesehen sind, dass beim vollständigen Herausziehen dieses Handtuches aus dem Gehäuse ein Timer be tätigt wird, der das Herausströmen der Warmluft während eines vorbestimmtenZeitintervalls veranlasst.
Dadurch ist es möglich, nasse Hände kombiniert mittels des Handtuches und warmer Luft zu trocknen. Die Zeichnung zeigt ein Ausführungsbeispiel des Erfindungsgegenstandes.

Fig. 3 zeigt in der gleichen Darstellung wie Fig. 3 in grösserem Massstab mit teilweise aufgebrochenem Gehäuse ein Detail.
Die dargestellte Vorrichtung weist ein Gehäuse 1 auf, das zweckmässig aus Blech besteht und zum Be festigen an einer Gebäudewand oder einer ähnlichen festen Fläche bestimmt ist. Das Gehäuse 1 weist einen Vorraum 2 auf, welcher oben und unten offen und zur Aufnahme eines einschiebbaren Handtuchhalters 3 bestimmt ist. Dieser ist mit einem teilweise offenen Boden versehen und zur Aufnahme eines Stapels S von sukzessive abziehbaren Papier-Handtüchern ein gerichtet. Das unterste Handtuch des Stapels S liegt gemäss Fig. 3 auf zwei Führungswalzen 4 bzw. 5 auf, die quer zum Boden des Vorraums 2 verlaufen.
Wenn der Handtuchhalter 3 vollständig in den Vorraum 2 eingeschoben ist, hängt ein Endteil T des untersten Handtuches des Stapels S ungefähr vertikal herab, wie dies in den Fig. 2 und 3 veranschaulicht ist. Der Handtuchhalter ist nach vorne offen und er möglicht dadurch, den Handtuchstapel S leicht in den Halter 3 einzusetzen. Die offene Front ist dann durch die entsprechende Wandpartie des Vorraumes 2 ab geschlossen. Am oberen Ende des Halters 3 ist zum leichten Einsetzen und Herausheben ein Handgriff 6 angeordnet.
Der Vorraum 2 ist am unteren Ende mit einer drehbar gelagerten Antriebswalze 7 versehen, an wel cher der heraushängende Endteil T des untersten Handtuches des Stapels S derart anliegt, dass dieses Handtuch beim Herausziehen durch Angreifen am Endteil T kraftschlüssig an der Walze angreift und diese daher in der entsprechenden Richtung dreht.
Im Hinterraum des Gehäuses 1 ist gemäss Fig. 2 ein elektrisch antreibbares Gebläse 14 angeordnet, welches Luft durch einen elektrischen Heizkörper 15 und anschliessenden Anlassstutzen 8 am unteren Ge häuseende hindurchbläst, so dass der dadurch entste hende Warmluftstrom durch die zum Trocknen der Hände, unterhalb des Gehäuses 1 bestimmte Zone strömt.
Das Gebläse 14 und der Heizkörper 15 werden für jeden Trocknungsvorgang für einen vorbestimm ten Zeitintervall gleichzeitig durch einen gemeinsa- samen Timer in Betrieb gesetzt. Dies geschieht mittels eines Schalters 9, dessen Schalthebel 10 durch das freie Ende eines anderenends mittels einer Rutsch kupplung 12 an der Antriebswalze 7 sitzenden Hebel armes 11 betätigt wird.
Zum Gebrauch genügt es daher, den herabhängen den Handtuchteil T nach unten abzuziehen und da durch die Antriebswalze 7, bezogen auf Fig. 3, im Gegenuhrzeigersinn zu drehen, um über die Hebel 11, 10 den Schalter 9 zu schliessen und den Timer in Be trieb zu setzen.
Zur Anzeige ist eine elektrische Lampe 13 hinter einem nicht dargestellten Fenster vorgesehen, die gleichzeitig mit der Inbetriebsbesetzung des Timers eingeschaltet wird und daher die Bereitschaft zum Trocknen anzeigt. Ferner sind gemäss Fig. 1 im Vor derteil des Gehäuses 1 zwei in einem Abstand neben einanderliegende Fenster 16 vorgesehen, durch die der unterste Teil des Stapels S sichtbar ist, so dass ohne weiteres feststellbar ist, wann der Handtuch halter nachgefüllt werden muss.
Nach Bedarf kann auch eine zusätzliche Heizein richtung unmittelbar über dem Boden des Gehäuse- hinterraums vorgesehen sein, die verhältnismässig schwach sein kann und dazu dient, die Luft im Ge- häusehinterraum vorzuheizen und dadurch zu ge währleisten, dass sofort nach in Betriebsetzung Warmluft aus dem Stutzen 8 ausströmt.
In der gestapelten Lage sind, bezogen auf Fig. 1, die Handtücher derart gefaltet, dass ihr unterstes, den Endteil T aufweisendes Blatt in der waagrechten Lage nicht ganz bis zur Walze 4 reicht, so dass der Endteil T des jeweils untersten Blattes von selbst in die in Fig. 1 und 3 dargestellte Hängelage fällt.

The device shown has a housing 1, which is suitably made of sheet metal and is intended to be fastened to a building wall or a similar solid surface. The housing 1 has an anteroom 2 which is open at the top and at the bottom and is intended to accommodate a retractable towel holder 3.
