Valve battery for pneumatic and hydraulic pressure media The invention relates to a valve battery for pneumatic and hydraulic pressure media, which consists of a number of juxtaposed, each assigned to a special working cylinder th individual valves and a prismatic shape of a prismatic shape giving the battery together which the flat attached individual valves are individually detachably attached and which has a central supply line and connecting channels for the supply and discharge of the pressure medium.
According to the invention, the individual valves are set in an arrangement running in the vertical direction of the manifold block on a side surface of the block from the side to form a unit with a cross-section of approximately L-shape and the connecting channels for the supply from the central supply line go laterally Direction to the individual valves, the connecting channels for the transfer of the pressure medium from the respective individual valve to the associated working cylinder ge according to one of two possibilities, namely, in that they either lead laterally outward on the side opposite the manifold block.
or in a parallel arrangement to the connecting channels for the supply of the pressure medium to the block and go through it in the horizontal or vertical direction to the outside, while the ventilation lines coming from the individual valves in a longitudinally pulling through the manifold block, to the supply line for the pressure medium run parallel to the common discharge.
With the new arrangement, installing and removing the individual valves in the series is extremely easy. You can now easily remove a valve from the middle area of the row without the valve battery falling apart or being disrupted in its function in any way. All that is required is that the connecting channel leading from the central supply line to the remote valve in the series is closed by a suitable blind or sealing plug.
Furthermore, the subject of the invention is also characterized by simple manufacture, since the block here only has to be provided with the smallest possible number of holes for guiding the pressure medium and, moreover, the central supply line can also be easily produced by casting or drawing .
If the discharge channels assigned to the individual valves lead laterally outwards from the individual valves on their side opposite the block, the supply lines leading to the individual working cylinders to be controlled must be released from the valve to be removed when removing a valve in the row; here, however, there is the advantage of a very simple structure and simple manufacture.
If, on the other hand, the drainage channels assigned to each individual valve lead in a parallel arrangement to the supply connection channels and opposite to the block and go through this either in the horizontal or in the vertical direction to the outside, when removing a valve in the row the the working cylinder in question leading to line are not released because this line is connected to the block. In this last-mentioned embodiment, a so-called pure plug-in assembly is thus possible, since during installation and dismantling le diglich inserted or removed the valve who must and any connecting lines do not have to be loosened or connected.
The fact that in the subject matter of the invention, the valves are attached from the side flat to the block and possibly form a cross-section L-shaped body with this, the available space is used particularly well because on the one hand, in contrast to the aforementioned known Arrangements, the height of the battery only corresponds to the height of the individual valves, and on the other hand, due to the need to connect the electrical control lines, the dead space that occurs at the front anyway is used here for the lateral attachment of the block holding the valves together. In the subject matter of the invention, it is also possible to attach the block holding the valves together to any base.
In addition, combining the exhaust air in a common discharge line has the advantage that the pressure medium can be discharged under control at points where it does not interfere, and that consequently pressure media other than compressed air can also be used.
In the drawing, two exemplary embodiments of the subject matter of the invention are shown. It shows: Fig. 1 the valve battery in perspective Dar position, Fig. 2 the block of the battery according to Fig. 1 in a front view on an enlarged scale, Fig. 3 the arrangement of Fig. 2 in a plan view, Fig. 4 the arrangement according to FIGS. 2 and 3 in a side view in section,
5 shows a further embodiment of the valve battery in a perspective view and FIG. 6 shows the embodiment according to FIG. 5 in a side view in section.
The valve battery according to FIGS. 1 to 4 has four individual valves 1, 2, 3, 4, which are arranged side by side, so to speak, in parallel connection and are each assigned to a special working cylinder. The electrical connections of the valves are indicated at 5. The battery also includes the elongated, prismatic block 6, which only gives the battery the actual cohesion and to which the individual valves are individually attached. These individual valves are set flat on the side surface 7 of the block from the side. From the central supply line 8, which runs through the block in the longitudinal direction, for the pressure medium, the z.
B. can be connected to the pressure medium source at 9 and whose opposite end 10 is completed in this case, ge hen one after the other individual, each associated with a Einzelven valve supply connection channels in the lateral direction from that at 11, 12, 13, 14 are indicated. The central supply line of the block and the supply connection channels going out from the side are arranged and designed here at in such a way that either two-way or three-way or four-way individual valves can be connected to the same block.
On the whole, the arrangement is such that the row of connected individual valves 1, 2, 3, 4, with which the battery is cohesive, forms a unit with an L-shaped cross section, as shown in FIG. 1 in particular recognize is.
The vent lines coming from the individual valves open into a common Ablei device which runs through the manifold block in the longitudinal direction and which is parallel to the supply line for the pressure medium (not shown).
Each individual valve is attached to the block with the aid of two screws 19,20. The block with the individual valves attached to it can also be attached to a suitable base using two screws 21, 22, which are each arranged at the two ends of the block.
The direction of flow of the pressure medium through the central supply line of the block can of course be changed at any time, whereby the end opposite the connection must be closed. Four individual valves can be attached to the block, as in the example in the drawing, or even more, e.g. B. eight or fewer valves can be connected.
In the embodiment according to FIGS. 5 and 6, the valves 23, 24, 25 and 26 are again combined with the block 27 to form a unit with a cross-section of L-shaped configuration. The central supply line of the block for the printing medium is shown at 28. From this supply line 28, the supply connection channels 29, 29 ', etc. go in a lateral direction to the respective Einzelven valve. A discharge channel is also assigned to each individual valve. The discharge channels 30, 30 ', 30 ", 30"' run parallel to the supply connection channels 29, 29 'etc. and lead back to the block and through it to the outside.
They ver thus run in the opposite direction to the supply connection channels. When losing weight z. B. of the valve 23 therefore the supply line 31 to the working cylinder in question does not have to be released because it starts from the block. In addition, discharge channels 33, 33 ', 33 ", 331" are provided which lead from the individual valves to the block in the horizontal direction (so far they coincide with the channels 30, 30', 30 ", 30" ') and from these go roughly in a vertical direction downwards and outwards.
Depending on the circumstances, you can choose to use the horizontal or the vertical drainage channels and close off the unused channels with a plug. In the sem embodiment, the block can either by the vertically extending fastening screws 34, 34 'or by in the protruding end pieces 35, 35' provided horizontal Be fastening screws 36, 36 'attached to the base. The individual valves are each BEFE with the help of a single screw on the block. The Entlüftungsleitupgen 37, 37 ', 37 ", 37"' coming from the individual valves open into a common discharge 32 running through the block in the longitudinal direction.
The valves of the valve batteries shown in the drawing are designed as solenoid valves. The arrangement described can, however, also be used with the usual roller lever valves with the same advantages.
