Description
Fig. 1 zeigt einen Längsschnitt durch den Behälter.
Fig. 2 zeigt die Draufsicht auf den Behälterverschluss.
Plastic containers
The invention relates to a container made of plastic with a filling opening that can be closed by a cup-shaped closure lid, with a clamping ring securing the closure lid in the closed position engaging with an inwardly directed annular projection with a sawtooth cross-section behind an opposite annular projection of the same cross-sectional shape of the opening collar and with its at right angles inwardly directed upper edge rests firmly against the edge of the sealing cover.
The task at hand is to secure the container closure against uncontrollable lifting of the clamping ring by unauthorized persons.
This object is achieved according to the invention by a securing ring made of brittle plastic that is placed around the lower edge of the clamping ring and encloses the clamping ring with its vertical ring wall and engages between the lower edge of the clamping ring and the container surface with an inwardly directed annular projection reaching close to the container neck.
In the event of unauthorized opening of the lock, a tool must be inserted between the locking ring and the lower edge of the clamping ring in order to lever the clamping ring out of its closed position. The locking ring, made of brittle plastic, shatters, so that the unauthorized intervention becomes visible. In addition, the locking ring takes on an additional clamping function by preventing the edge of the clamping ring from deflecting radially outwards.
In order to avoid the closure cover being pulled out through the upper clamping ring opening, in an embodiment of the invention the upper clamping ring opening is closed by a tear-off disk connected in one piece to the opening edge via a perforation.
In the drawing, an embodiment of the invention is shown as an example.
Fig. 1 shows a longitudinal section through the container.
Fig. 2 shows the top view of the container closure. The cover parts lying below the tear-off disk are dashed and dotted, the tear-off perforation is shown in dashed lines.
The closure cap 5 is self-sealingly compressed into the inwardly angled opening edge 10 of the upright container opening collar 8 with its own elastic deformation, and its upper edge rests against the annular edge surface 10. In this position the cover 5 is secured by a clamping ring 1. In the attached state, the clamping ring 1 engages with an inwardly directed ring projection 2 with a sawtooth cross section behind an opposite ring projection 9 of the same cross-sectional shape of the opening collar 8 and rests firmly against the edge of the closure cover with its upper edge 4 directed at right angles inward.
The outer surfaces of the ring projections 2, 9, which rise conically towards the container center axis, form a sliding guide for clamping the clamping ring 1. Around the lower edge of the clamping ring 1 is a locking ring 18 made of brittle plastic, which surrounds the clamping ring 1 with its vertical ring wall and at right angles to it inwardly directed projection between the clamping ring lower edge and container surface 12 engages. The locking ring 18 is advantageously placed around the clamping ring 1 before it is clamped on and is pressed onto the opening collar 8 together with the clamping ring. The elastic collar walls can deflect inward and spring back after the ring projections 2, 9 have been exceeded.
The upper clamping ring opening 3 is closed by a tear-off disk 15 connected in one piece to the opening edge 4 via a perforation 16 (FIG. 2).
As can best be seen from FIG. 2, a second perforation, designated 17, is provided in the inner surface of the tear-off disk 15, which when pressed in releases a finger opening.
Star-shaped ribs 13 are provided in the inner surface of the closure cover to stiffen the closure cover. The ribs 13 open into the outer surface of an upstanding cylinder 14 in the cover center area. The upper edge of the closure cover 5, which is extended inward at 6, ends in a finger ring 7.
