The invention relates to a post-top luminaire with a housing base to be attached to the mast, on which a support device arranged in the mast direction for the housing roof is attached and a koaxia le, tubular, translucent cover is set up.
There are post-top lights with a central support body are known to be fastened to the plate-shaped components with attached sockets and ballasts. The interior of the luminaire housing can also be divided into a lamp compartment and a ballast compartment by walls. In such lights, the upper end of the tubular, light-permeable cover is provided with a light roof. At the end of the cover on the mast side, a lowerable lamination nozzle is usually arranged.
In summary, it should be noted that a large number of housing components and the built-in luminaire components carrying components are required to build such lights. These known mast top lights have an intricate structure, the high manufacturing costs and a large total weight. In addition, there are large assembly and maintenance costs.
According to the invention, an improvement is achieved in that the housing bottom has a cup-shaped in the direction of the interior of the luminaire retracted deformation, which serves to accommodate the mast end and are formed on the approaches for attaching fastening means for the support device, the cover by a directly on the Tragvor direction attached housing roof is tightly closed. A post-top luminaire according to the invention, for example, is characterized by a particularly simple structure made up of a minimum number of components.
The luminaire housing consists of a base, a roof, a component connecting them and a tubular, translucent cover. In this example, the built-in luminaire parts are fastened exclusively to the existing housing components without the use of additional mounting documents.
This ensures simple assembly and maintenance and a small overall weight can be achieved. Finally, by pulling the deformation that accommodates the mast end into the interior of the luminaire, the overall height of the luminaire is reduced.
The invention is shown in the drawing, for example. 1 shows a vertical longitudinal section of a post-top light according to the invention for U-shaped fluorescent lamps, FIG. 2 shows a horizontal cross section of the object of FIG. 1,
3 shows a vertical longitudinal section through the edge of the cover of the lamp according to FIG. 1, and FIG. 4 shows a vertical longitudinal section of a post-top lamp according to the invention for a pear-shaped lamp.
In Figs. 1 and 2, a post-top luminaire for two U-shaped fluorescent lamps is shown. Their luminaire housing contains a housing base 1 to be attached to the end of the mast, a housing roof 2, a support device 3 arranged in the direction of the mast for this housing roof 2 and a coaxial, tubular, translucent cover 4.
According to the invention, the housing base 1 has a cup-shaped deformation 5 drawn in in the direction of the interior of the luminaire, which serves to accommodate the mast of the and are molded onto the extensions 6. Fastening means 7 for the support device 3 can be attached to these approaches 6. The fastening means 7 are preferably screws. The housing roof 2 is fastened directly to the support device 3 without the interposition of components and closes off the cover 4 tightly. A screw 8 is passed from below through the housing roof 2 and provided with a nut 9 lying on the top of the housing roof 2.
A sealing washer 10 is arranged between this nut 9 and the housing roof 2 and a sealing strip 11 is arranged between the housing roof 2 and the cover 4. For good Füh tion of the cover 4, the inner edge has several projections 12, which have the same height as the out senrand.
The housing base 1 expediently has an edge channel 13 receiving the edge of the cover 4 with drainage openings 14 for the water flowing down from the cover 4. In addition, radial ribs 15 are formed on the outside of the housing base 1, through which the water is discharged from the drainage openings 14.
The edge of the cover 4, which can have a round or angular, preferably a square cross-section, advantageously has indentations 16 (FIGS. 2, 3) at the points opposite the drain openings 14 (FIGS. 2, 3), which ensure that the drain openings 14 are exposed on all sides.
A profile rail is expediently used as the support device 3, to which, in addition to the housing roof 2, the lamp ballasts such as the choke coils 17, capacitors 18 and starters 19 and the lamp holding bracket 21 are attached. The lamp sockets 20 are supported on the housing base 1. The mast end is particularly well secured in the cup-shaped deformation 5 of the housing base 1 by radial screws 26 which are each guided in a nut 27 held on the outside of the deformation 5. In this way, there is no need to cut the threads receiving the screws 26.
Advantageously, in the post-top luminaire according to the invention, which is provided with one or more pear-shaped lamps, the support device 23 consists of slotted longitudinal rods 24 between which the lamp sockets 22 are attached. In this case, the associated lamp ballasts 25 are attached to the housing base.
