-elemente.
Fig. 3 zeigt ein Detail des Gesarntschaltschemas.
Sollwert eines der vier Relais <I>A, A', B, B'</I> reagiert.
I>A', B'</I> zugeordneten Widerstandselemente (R-Glieder) 28, 31.
B'</I> beeinflusst.
Device for automatically regulating the residual moisture content of webs running through a machine, in particular made of fabric or paper. The invention relates to a device for automatically regulating the residual moisture content of webs running through a drying machine, in particular made of fabric or paper.
There are already devices of this type become known in which the respective residual moisture content of the web by measuring an electrical measured variable, z. B. the ohmic resistance, determined by means of sensors attached to the web and the measured values he averaged by means of electrical relays to close control circuits for changing the machine parameters that influence the residual moisture content.
The machine drive is influenced by control pulses when the setpoint value of the residual moisture content of the material web is exceeded or not reached, which are output by a system of control disks that is driven to rotate depending on the speed of the material web the structural design of the control disks either the duration of the control pulses fed to a servomotor or their time intervals can be changed.
The servomotor has the task of influencing the web drive in the sense of an acceleration or deceleration of the web speed until the residual moisture content of the web determined at the measuring point corresponds to the target value.
When the duration of the control pulses is changed, the starting characteristics of the servomotors, which are not linear due to the rotor moment of inertia, are used to achieve the most uniform possible regulation of the percentage of moisture content at all orbital speeds.
If, however, control pulses are used to reverse the machine, the time intervals of which are dependent on the speed of the web, whereas the pulse duration can be constant, the start-up characteristic is no longer used for the regulation, but the product of the constant control amount of the servo motor during a pulse and the number of pulses (repetition frequency) in the unit of time that is varied by changing the pulse spacing.
Here, too, the control principles described are assumed, but the main difference compared to the known is that in the invention the control pulses for reversing the machine are emitted by at least one electronic pulse generator, in whose circuit there is at least one potential tiometer is, through its position, which depends on the web speed, the time intervals (repetition frequency) and / or the duration of the control pulses are influenced.
The control pulses can be fed to a servomotor (regulating motor), which in turn influences the web drive in terms of acceleration or deceleration of the web speed, for example by setting a regulating gear accordingly.
The main advantage of the invention is that the pulse control by electronic pulse generators is significantly less susceptible to failure than was the case with the mechanical dealer works of the previously known devices. The device according to the invention is also considerably simpler in its mechanical structure, since only one or two potentiometers have to be actuated to change the control pulses as a function of the web speed.
In the event that the machine is reversed by control pulses, whereby only their duration or their time intervals should be dependent on the web speed, a potentiometer in the circuit of the electronic pulse generator that is dependent on the web speed is sufficient.
However, if both the duration and the time intervals between the control pulses are to be influenced by the web speed, two potentiometers with their position dependent on the web speed are expediently arranged in the circuit of the electronic pulse generator, with one potentiometer measuring the time intervals and the other the duration of the Control impulses influenced. In this case, both potentiometers can be mechanically coupled.
A multivibrator with two tubes can be used as a pulse generator, the anodes of both tubes being connected via a coupling capacitor (flip-flop circuit) and the grid voltage of one tube from one of the two potentiometers, the grid voltage of the other tube from removed from the other potentiometer. Further resistance elements can be connected to the grid circle of at least one of the tubes for changing the time intervals (repetition frequency) and / or duration of the control pulses depending on the measured value of the web moisture measured.
The potentiometers of the electronic pulse generator are expediently attached to the speed indicator axis of the rail drive (drive motor, control gear) or a tachometer.
The invention is explained in more detail by means of an exemplary embodiment with reference to the drawings, without being restricted thereto.
1 shows a layout diagram of a control system according to the invention.
Fig. 2 shows a circuit diagram of all essential for the inven tion circuits or elements.
Fig. 3 shows a detail of the overall circuit diagram. According to Fig. 1, the web 1, whose residual moisture content is to be measured or controlled, runs between electrodes, the electrode arranged on the top of the web 1 consists of several sensor rollers 2, while the electrode on the underside of the web 1 forms the shape a roller 3 extending across the width of the web has. The roller 3 is connected to the ground. The measuring line 4 leads from the sensor rollers 2 to the measuring and control device 5.
The ohmic resistance between the sensor rollers 2 and the roller 3 is dependent on the moisture content of the web 1.
In the measuring and control housing 5, various electrical or electronic switching elements are contained th, u. a. also an electronic pulse generator, wel cher control pulses to the control motor 6 and thus sets it in motion in terms of acceleration or deceleration of the web speed.
In order to make the control pulses dependent on the web speed, two mechanically coupled potentiometers 7 ', 7 "are arranged in the circuit of the electronic pulse generator, the position of which depends on the web speed, which is achieved by the fact that the coupled potentiometers 7' 7" are placed on a Geschwindigkeltsindikatorachse of between's drive motor 8 and rail drive lying control gear 9.
By one of the two coupled potentiometers 7 ', depending on its position, the time intervals or sequence frequency of the control pulses given by the electronic pulse generator changed. The position of the other of the two coupled potentiometers 7 ″ influences the duration of the control pulses emitted by the electronic pulse generator.
The reversing contactor combination 11 is also important for the functioning of the control system, as will be explained in more detail in the description of the circuit diagram of the control system below.
Further details of the system shown in Fig. 1, such. B. an additional push button switch 10 for the reversing contactor combination 11, another contactor 12 in the connecting line of the drive motor 8, also a second display device 13, a writing device 14, a light signal device 15, etc., are not important to the essence of the invention so that further discussion is not necessary.
The circuit of the parts of the control system essential for the invention is illustrated by the circuit diagrams according to FIGS.
The measured or controlled variable corresponding to the web moisture is, as stated, an ohmic resistance 16. The measuring current flowing through this ohmic resistance 16 is switched in the measuring and command block 17 via a range switch (not shown) (to adapt the device to quality and Thickness of the web material), also via an amplifier, also not shown, and via a millimeter
However, measuring device 17 'calibrated to a degree of moisture is fed to a voltage divider 18 (FIG. 3), from which a relay combination <I> A', A, B, B ', controlled via thyratrons 19 (FIG. 3), B "</I> (Fig. 2,3) is actuated in such a way that depending on the direction and strength of the deviation of the web moisture from the (selectable)
Setpoint of one of the four relays <I> A, A ', B, B' </I> reacts. The measuring range I + of the measuring device 17 'is the relay A, the measuring range II + the relay A', the measuring range I- the relay <I> B </I> and the measuring range II- the relay <I> B ' / I> ordered.
The control pulses to be delivered to the servo motor (control motor) 6 are generated in the pulse generator 20. The pulse is generated by a pulse generator (multivibrator) with two cold cathode tubes 21, 22, the anodes of which are connected via a coupling capacitor 41 (flip-flop circuit).
The grid voltage of the cold cathode tube 21 is taken from the potentiometer T, the grid voltage of the cold cathode tube 22 from the potentiometer 7 ". The two potentiometers 7 'and 7" are mechanically coupled and sit on the speed indicator axis 23 of the rail drive, so that the position both potentiometers 7 'and 7 "depends on the web speed.
The voltage decrease from the potentiometers 7 ', 7 "takes place in such a way that at a higher web speed the pulse generator 20 sends control pulses of a higher number of pulses in the time unit (repetition frequency) and longer duration (width) to the servo motor (control motor) 6 The duration and repetition frequency of the control pulses are therefore directly proportional to the web speed. The repetition frequency of the control pulses is determined by the circuit (grid circle) of the cold cathode tube 21, the pulse duration by the circuit (grid circle) of the cold cathode tube 22.
In the grid circle of the cold cathode tube 21 (determining the repetition frequency of the control pulses) there is still - depending on which of the four contacts 24, 25, which can be actuated by the relay combination <I> A ', A, B, B' </I> 26, 27 is closed - one of the resistance elements (R elements) 28, 29, 30, 31.
As stated above, it depends on the direction and strength of the deviation of the web moisture from the setpoint which relay A ', <I> A, B, B' </I> is actuated, i.e. which of the contacts 24, 25, 26, 27 ge is closed and accordingly which of the counter elements (R members) 28, 29, 30, 31 in the circuit of the cathode tube 21 arrives. In this way, you also achieve a dependence of the sequence frequency of the control pulses on the strength of the deviation from the web moisture from the target value.
If the deviation from the nominal value is smaller, corresponding to the measuring range I + or I- of the measuring device 17 ', the repetition frequency of the control pulses should be lower than in the case of greater deviations, corresponding to the measuring range II + or II- of the measuring device 17'. This dependency can be achieved by setting the resistance elements (R elements) 29, 30 assigned to the relays A and B differently than the resistance elements (R elements) assigned to the relays A ', B' </I> ) 28, 31.
A control relay 32 is actuated by the control pulses generated in the pulse generator 20. As a result, depending on the position of the switch 33, either the contactor 34 or the contactor 35 of the reversing contactor combination 11 (Fig. 1) is actuated and the servo motor (control motor) 6 in the direction of arrow 36 or 37 and in Depending on the repetition frequency and duration of the control impulses, the web speed is increased or decreased.
The position of the switch 33, on which the direction of rotation of the servo motor (control motor) 6 depends, is; influenced by the relays <I> B or B '</I>. If the relays B, B 'do not respond (this is the case when the moisture content of the web is above the target value - pointer of the measuring device 17' in the measuring range I + or II +), then the switch 33 is in the position shown in FIG Position and the servomotor (regulating motor) 6 is switched via the contactor 34, which corresponds to a direction of rotation according to arrow 36, for example.
However, one of these two relays B, B 'responds, which is the case, if. the moisture content of the web is below the target value (the pointer of the measuring device 17 'in the measuring range I- or II-), the contact 38 is closed, which is indicated by a mechanical connection (in Fig. 2 by the dashed-dotted line 39 ) the relay armature of the relays <I> B, B '</I> with the contact closure part of the contact 38 is effected. When the contact 38 is closed, the changeover relay 40 is energized and changes the position of the changeover switch 33.
The servomotor (regulating motor) is now switched via contactor 35 and rotates in the direction of arrow 37.
In Fig. 2 and 3 only the essential for the inven tion parts of the overall circuit diagram of the control system are taken into account. The control system is expedient in the practical execution, however, by various other switching elements he complements, for.
B. by an electronic switching element, wel Ches causes the control of the system only after passing through one of the machine length corresponding to the web length begins, also by an electronic switching element, which causes a pre-control pulse, whereby the servo motor (control motor) 6 always existing tooth clearance in the motor unit of the servo motor 6 and / or in the control gear 9 overcomes, so that with the first actual control pulse through the movement of the servo motor (control motor)
6 actually also changed the setting of the control gear 9 and thus a change in the web speed began. Another additional switching element would be a high-speed regulator, which, if the measured value remains for too long, influences the pulse output in greater deviations from the setpoint in the sense of increasing the repetition frequency and / or the duration of the control pulses.
