La fig. 1 en est une vue partielle en position ouverte;
la fig. 2 est une coupe selon II-II de la fig. 1;
les fig. 3 et 4 des vues de détail;
Vehicle tachograph
There are known tachographs for vehicles comprising a writing unit secured to a mass oscillating against a return spring when the vehicle is in motion so as to draw on a mobile support, disc or strip, a trace of determined width. , indicating the driving time, or on the contrary a thin line, in particular when the vehicle is stationary.
Some of these tachographs are also fitted with a device making it possible to modify the position of the writing organ on the diagram, depending on the driver who drives the vehicle, so as to obtain several concentric plots each corresponding to the service of. a determined driver.
These devices generally include a control key, the rotation of which causes the displacement of the range of oscillation of the mass and consequently that of the writing organ. However, they all have the disadvantage of requiring the displacement of a relatively heavy mass to obtain the displacement of the stylus, which first requires the use of a robust mechanism and therefore expensive and imprecise and then a space. relatively large to allow the mass to oscillate freely in several positions. In addition, the displacement of the mass is liable to influence its oscillation on the one hand by modifying the tension of the return spring with which it is generally equipped and on the other hand by modifying the effect of gravity.
On the other hand, for another purpose, devices have already been used which make it possible to modify the position of the stylus with respect to that of the mass, by using an elastic connection of the stylus and the mass, which also presents the 'disadvantage of modifying the intensity of the action of the return spring acting on the mass. In addition, such a device allows only a modest movement of the stylus, insufficient for the desired goal.
The present invention specifically relates to a tachograph for a vehicle, comprising at least one writing device for the inscription on a support of a trace corresponding to the running time or stopping time of this vehicle, at least one oscillating mass subjected to the action of an elastic return means and kinematically integral with said member so as to draw a trace of a determined width when the vehicle is in motion, and a driver change control device driving means for modifying the position of said member relative to said support so as to be able to register therein different parallel traces each corresponding to the service time of a determined driver.
This tachograph is characterized by the fact that these means act directly on said member which they move relative to the oscillating mass without influencing the movement of this mass which always oscillates within the same limits and which remains subject to a constant return action. .
The appended drawing represents, by way of example, an embodiment of the object of the invention.
Fig. 1 is a partial view thereof in the open position;
fig. 2 is a section on II-II of FIG. 1;
figs. 3 and 4 of the detail views;
fig. 5 shows a disc diagram used in the tachograph.
The tachograph shown (FIG. 1) comprises a housing 1 to which is fixed in an articulated manner, at 2, a cover 3, partially shown. In the case are arranged plotter styluses 4, 5 and 6 intended for writing on a bundle of disks, not shown and fixed on the cover 3, diagrams 70, 80 and 90 (fig. 5) corresponding respectively to the measured speed, the running or stopping time and finally the distance traveled.
The cover 3 comprises a clockwork movement, not shown, for driving the bundle, a shelf 3a and a selector tab 3b provided with a stop 3c.
The stylets 4 and 6 are controlled by mechanisms contained in the housing and partially shown in FIG. 1. These mechanisms are known, for example of the type described in Swiss patents.
Nos. 372175 and 372177, and will not be repeated here.
The stylus t 5 is integral with an arm 9 fixed in an articulated manner to one end of a lever 10 integral with a shaft 11 mounted to rotate between a plate 12 of the housing and a support 13 integral with this plate. This lever 10 has a circular opening 14 and is terminated by a fork 15 engaged with a crank pin 16, described below, which a lock 17 integral with the housing r 1 has.
The free end of the arm 9 is terminated by a fork 9a between the teeth of which is engaged the upper part of a rod 18 passing through the opening 14 of the lever 10 and secured by its lower end to a lever 19. This is articulated on the plate 12 at 20 and is provided at its free end with a mass 21, circularly recessed at 22. A pin 23 integral with the plate 12 is arranged in this recess so as to limit the oscillation of the lever 19.
The lock shown in fig. 2 comprises a barrel 24 and a chamber 25 in communication with the interior of the housing 1 via a corresponding opening made in the wall thereof.
The chamber 25 comprises two walls 26 (Fig. 1) facing each other as well as a third wall 27 connecting the first two; this wall 27 has two vertical spans 28 on which is fixed by means not shown a bridge 29 having a hole 29a. In this hole is pivoted a part 31 formed by a first cubic part 32, on the upper surface of which the crankpin 16 rises eccentrically in engagement with the fork 15, by a cylindrical bearing surface 33 whose axis of asymmetry is coaxial to the axis of part 32, by a vertical rod 34 coaxial with this part and having a stud 35.
The bearing 33 is engaged in a housing 36 of the barrel 24. 37 is an elastic blade in contact with one face of the cubic part 32 and, arranged, by its ends, on the bearing surfaces 28 of the chamber. The barrel 24 has in its interior a projection 38 extending in a plane identical to that of the stud 35, when the stylet 5 is in the position shown in FIG. 1.
The keys available to the drivers are formed by a tubular part 39 of dimensions corresponding to the opening of the barrel 24 and to the diameter of the rod 34. These keys have a longitudinal slot 40 intended to allow the introduction into the lock by r engagement of the projection 38 of the stud 35 between the edges of this slot. At a height corresponding to the position of the projection 38, one of the keys has a horizontal slot directed for example to the right and the other a similar slot directed to the left. The length of these slots is such that the driver can turn this key a quarter of a turn in the corresponding direction against the spring 37.
The rotation of the key in one or the other of the directions indicated controls a corresponding movement of the part 31. Thus, by turning this key in the anti-clockwise direction, the crankpin 16 of the driven part 31, which is eccentric, takes the position shown in FIG. 4, by forcing the fork 15 of the lever 10 to move in the direction I shown. In its movement, the lever 10 drives the axis 9b on which the lever 9 is articulated which, in engagement with the rod 18 remaining stationary, turns around this rod in the direction f4. Of course, the stylet 5 which is integral with it follows it in its movement. The trace drawn by the stylus is the one indicated by A in diagram 80 (fig. 5).
By returning the stylet to the position shown in fig. 1, the latter then draws trace B which is representative of the service time of a second driver.
The trace C is obtained by positioning the stylus 5 as shown in FIG. 3.
The wide part of each trace corresponds to the running time of the vehicle while the single line is representative of the stopping time.
