Die Erfindung lässt sich in verschiedener Weise ausführen. Sie ist in der Zeichnung in verschiedenen Ausführungsbeispielen veranschaulicht. Es zeigt: Fig. 1 in Ansicht die Bügelvorrichtung mit auf dem drehbaren Traggestell angeordneten Formkörpern teil weise im Schnitt; Fig. 2 einen Grundriss zu Fig. 1; Fig. 3 eine Ansicht auf den Bügelschuh; Fig. 4 ein zusammengelegtes Oberhemd;

Fig. 6.
Method and device for ironing items of clothing and parts thereof, in particular shirts The invention has the task of ironing items of clothing, for example shirts, smocks or the like, to be effective in a relatively short time and to use the machine so that possible Extremely short dead times arise for the press mechanism and the performance per worker is increased as much as possible by eliminating any loss and waiting times and by simplifying the operating procedures.
There are known ironing presses for ironing shirts hulls, the shirt hull being placed on a press table. Several press tables are arranged on a drum that can be rotated about a horizontal axis and parallel to its axis of rotation. On the other hand, several horizontal press tables have also been used on a support frame which can be rotated about a vertical axis and which are fed to a single press shoe. It is also known to attach vertical ironing shoes on a support frame rotatable about a vertical axis of rotation, between the compartment-like a shaped body loaded with ironing is introduced.
In contrast, the method according to the invention is characterized in that the ironing material drawn onto a vertical shaped body of a support frame that can be rotated or displaced for the purpose of feeding to several work stations for carrying out the laying processes is fed to a pressing station, where it is pressed by means of a vertical press shoe, which The press shoe opens after the press process is complete, and the ironing can then be removed either in the press station or the next work station.
The device for carrying out the method is characterized in that one or more vertically arranged heatable molded bodies are provided on the support frame, to which a single press shoe arranged parallel to or parallel to the molded bodies is assigned.
The invention can be carried out in various ways. It is illustrated in the drawing in various exemplary embodiments. It shows: FIG. 1 a view of the ironing device with shaped bodies arranged on the rotatable support frame, partly in section; FIG. 2 shows a plan of FIG. 1; 3 shows a view of the ironing shoe; 4 shows a collapsed shirt;
5 shows another embodiment of a shaped body in a front view, the shaped body being displaceable in the vertical direction and being able to be pushed in front of the ironing shoe shown next to it; 6 shows the molded body and the ironing shoe after they have been set in relation to one another; 7 shows the shaped body in longitudinal section with the adjustable collar support after the shaped body has been pushed in front of the ironing shoe; 8 on a larger scale, the adjustable collar support on the molded body in longitudinal section;
9 shows another embodiment of a molded body with a bracket shoe that can be displaced in the longitudinal direction; Fig. 10 shows the molded body after it was brought in front of the Bü gelschuh and this was pushed ver in the longitudinal direction; Fig. 11 shows a further embodiment, wherein meh eral molded bodies are arranged on a bogie and can be set one after the other in front of the single ironing shoe.
As can be seen from FIGS. 1 and 2, are on a pivoted about a vertical axis 37 bogie 34, which can be designed for example as a holding cross, drum open at the top o. The like., Several example, four, vertically arranged and free at the top existing molded body 13 is provided.
The item to be ironed, for example a shirt or smock or the like, is hung on a vertical shaped body 13, for example at station I. The shaped bodies 13 can have the design customary in the relevant technology, d. H. be performed as ge upholstered and possibly cushioned panels.
After the shirt is hung up on station I in about 5 seconds, the bogie 34 is rotated 90 about its vertical axis.
In station II, the collar holder known per se is closed, for which a working time of 5 seconds is required. Then the bogie 34 is rotated to station III, where the shirt body is stretched and laid without creases. After a further 5 seconds, the bogie 34 is now brought into station IV, where the pressing is effected in a short time, namely also in 5 seconds, by means of the single bracket shoe 17 provided here, which is perpendicular and parallel to the molded body 13. Just like the molded body, the ironing shoe can also be heated in a known manner.
It is pressed against the shirt or the like drawn onto the molded body 13 by appropriate pushing means, which are for example pneumatically driven.
As can be seen from FIGS. 1 and 2, a second press plate 35 can be arranged on the back of the molded body 13, ie opposite the ironing shoe 17, which is also pressed against the shirt pulled onto the molded body 13, for example by pneumatic means. This pressing plate 35 extends to the neck area of the item to be ironed, so that the ses is also pressed on the upper edge of the vertical molded body 13 at the same time as the front shirt side is ironed.
This involves pressing a part that is important for the sales image of the finished shirt, also known as a mirror, which is visible through the collar opening and generally bears colorful labels from the manufacturer or supplier.
The type of operation of the ironing shoe 17 and the ironing plate 35 can be used in any way, for example mechanically, pneumatically or hydraulically, he follow. The known actuating means are not shown in the drawing for the sake of simplicity. In Fig. 4, a shirt 10 is put together is provided. It can be seen here that the upper collar extension 11 ends exactly with the fold 12. In the figure, the collar size 36 is shown in broken lines and the collar size 48 is shown in solid lines. The difference between the two sizes is about 6 cm.
In FIGS. 5 to 10 described below, only the pressing process is shown. In other stations, not shown, which are achieved by the fact that the support frame is designed to be displaceable with the vertical shaped body, work such as hanging and removing the items to be ironed are directed ver.
In the embodiment according to FIG. 5, a shaped body 13, over which the item to be ironed, for example a shirt, is pulled, is mounted on a carriage 16 between springs 14 in the guides 15 so as to be movable in the longitudinal direction. The molded body 13 can be moved in front of the ironing shoe 17 in order to be able to press the ironing shoe 17 - as can be seen from FIG. 7 - onto the molded body 13 provided with the shirt pulled on.
The lower part 18 of a split collar support 19 is - as can be seen from Fig. 7 and 8, - with the spring action lock 20 and a movable rod 21 in the molded body 13 firmly verbun the. The rod 21 has a roller 22 at its lower end, i.e. below the molded body 13, the rod 21 is expediently slidably mounted in a groove 23 of the molded body 13 and can be locked in various notches 24 of the molded body 13 with the aid of the lock 20 . The notch division corresponds to the different collar sizes. For the collar sizes 36 to 48, however, only four notches can be provided, for example.
By pulling back the lock 20, the collar support 19 on the molded body 13 can now be adjusted and fixed to a certain collar size. The molded body 13 has a corresponding cutout 13a for guiding the collar supports approach 19 a.
If the molded body 13 is pushed ver in the direction of arrow A so that it arrives in front of the bracket shoe 17, the roller 22, which is interlocked with the molded body 13 by the locking device 20 and serves as an adjusting means, is guided along a curve guide 25, for example on a Stand 25 a can be attached.
By moving the molded body 13 in the direction of arrow B, the collar support 18, 19 together with the ironing material fixed on the molded body 13 is in the position like. FIG. 6. The support now lies with its lower semicircular part 18 at a level with the collar cutout 17 a of the bracket shoe 17.
If the ironing shoe 17, which is pivotably suspended, for example, by means of lever 17 b, is brought up to the molded body 13, then the cutout 17 a comes to lie closely around the collar support 19 according to the setting of the respective collar size of the coated ironing item.
There are the following possibilities for the adjustment of the molded body 13 and the ironing shoe 17 in relation to the collar support 19: I a: The ironing shoe 17, which can optionally also support the adjustment curve 25, is in the adjustment plane, i.e. in the longitudinal direction of the object to be ironed , rigidly mounted, but can be brought to the molded body 13 who the.
b: The molded body 13 is movably supported in the adjustment plane.
This embodiment applies to FIGS. 5 to 8. Another adjustment possibility is: II a: The ironing shoe 17 is movably supported with the adjusting curve 25 in the adjustment plane, that is to say in the longitudinal direction of the object to be ironed.
b: The molded body 13 is rigidly mounted in the adjustment plane.
This execution is illustrated in FIGS. 9 and 10 ver.
Here, the bracket shoe 17 with the adjustment curve 25 via a lever system 26, 27, 28 in the machine frame 29 is movably mounted to the adjustment plane. The levers 26, 28, designed as double levers, can be rotated about the pivot pins 30, 31. The molded body 13 is rigidly superimposed on the carriage 16 to the adjustment plane. As in the exemplary embodiment according to FIGS. 5 to 7, the collar support 19 is attached to the molded body 13 in a displaceable manner. The rod 21 carries the roller 22.
If the molded body 13 is moved in the direction of arrow A, the locked roller 22 pulls the bracket shoe 17 over the adjustment curve 25 and the lever system 26, 27, 28 into the dashed position 32, i.e. H. the bracket shoe 17 is moved in the direction of arrow C upwards. In this case, the cutout 17 a, as can be seen from FIG. 10, lies tightly around the collar support 19. The ironing shoe 17 can be compensated for by a counterweight 33.
This design would therefore correspond to the adjustment option mentioned under 1I above.
In this embodiment, of course, the adjusting members on the molded body and ironing shoe can be interchanged or other guides can be provided without the intended function being impaired. In particular, it would also be possible to attach the guide roller 22 above the molded body 13, i.e. H. to let the rod 21 protrude at the top of the molded body 13.
Instead of the adjustment curve, other adjusting means such as mechanical lever systems or hydraulic and / or pneumatic or electrical adjustment drives could also be used.
11 shows a further embodiment for the adjustment arrangement according to II in connection with a special neck press shoe. In this case, a plurality of molded bodies 13, for example four molded bodies, are arranged stationary on a bogie 34 offset by 90 relative to one another. When rotating by 90 of the bogie 34 is brought into the correct position for the respective collar support 19 by the respective coming into engagement, on the molded body 13 ver locked adjusting roller 22 of the bracket shoe 17 via the lever system 26, 27, 28.
If a different shirt size is put on each of the various molded bodies 13, the ironing shoe 17 adjusts itself to the corresponding collar size of the pulled-on shirt every time the corresponding molded body comes in front of the ironing shoe.
There is also a padded neck press shoe 35 in the machine frame 29, for example on the stand 29 a so pivotably mounted that it always assumes the same position in relation to the molded body 13 in the pressing position. If the shaped body 13 is brought into the pressing position, d. H. Set in front of the ironing shoe 17, the neck pressure shoe 35 first swivels with its padded and heated ironing surface onto the molded body 13. Here, the molded body 13 is metallic on its back 36, for example provided with a metal plate.
Now swivels the likewise appropriately controlled ironing shoe 17 to the molded body 13. In this case, a fold 12 is pressed into the shoulder area of the item to be ironed due to the special shape of the molded body 13 by the two ironing shoes, namely the stirrup shoe 17 and the neck press shoe 35.
In addition to the illustrated vertical arrangement of shaped bodies 13 and ironing shoe 17, these can also be arranged in any other position, for example horizontally to one another.
The best utilization of the machine occurs when the laying times are roughly the same as the pressing time and the times for transporting the ironed items and activating the pressing mechanism (opening and closing).
In manufacturing plants, in contrast to laundries, dry laundry is generally ironed, which is mostly sprayed to achieve a good pressing effect. The pressing time is therefore only a fraction of the time in a laundry, where laundry with a water content of 35-45% is normally pressed.
In manufacturing companies, the time for pressing a shirt advantage is 2-5 seconds, depending on the type of fabric and quality, in laundries = 15-20 seconds.
The laying processes in machines for manufacturing must therefore be subdivided in such a way that each partial laying process roughly corresponds to the pressing time plus the movement time of the pressing mechanism.
As a result, the hand movements for each operator are reduced to a minimum, which both facilitates familiarization and enables maximum performance.
In the best case, the time for each work step corresponds to the pressing time and movement time of the pressing mechanism, while the most favorable number of work stations corresponds to the quotient of the total laying time and the pressing time.
The new method and the design of the new ironing device not only make it quick and easy to operate, but also shorten the working time for ironing shirt bodies, while at the same time achieving that the neck piece is also pressed against the back of the shirt or gown that is pulled up can.
