Device for canceling the backlash between a splined hub and a splined shaft axially displaceable therein. The invention relates to a device for lifting the flank pair between a splined hub and a splined shaft axially displaceable therein.
In the American patent issued to John F. Lill under number 2,847,170, stator winding machines are described which show a winding head which, guided evenly through the bore of the stator to be wound, places windings in the stator slots. The mentioned movement of the winding head is controlled by the fact that it is seated on a grooved shaft that is guided displaceably in the axial direction, which moves up and down and can be rotated at the same time by a pinion.
In winding machines according to the aforementioned patent description, it is essential, especially when the stators aufwei sen closely spaced slots, that any play in the grooved shaft is avoided.
Up to now, both the toothed shaft and the pinion had to be made of hardened steel with the lowest tolerances in order to reduce the play to a minimum. Since winding machines of this type work at a relatively high speed, both the toothed shaft and the pinion are subject to rapid wear, so that they have to be replaced frequently because of the play that occurs as a result. Furthermore, there has hitherto been the risk that the hardened parts, which are seated enough to avoid this play, will fray due to the high sliding speed.
The use of such pinions is therefore desirable, which can be continuously adapted both during assembly and afterwards depending on the wear and tear of the interlocking parts in order to avoid any play with the splined shaft.
The device according to the invention for eliminating the backlash between a splined hub and a splined shaft which can be axially displaced therein, the vicinity having two hub parts which can be rotated relative to one another and which each guide the shaft. Inner toothing part with flanks running coaxially to the shaft is characterized in that one hub part has an annular groove arranged coaxially to the spline shaft and the second hub part has a groove which is also arranged coaxially to the spline shaft but only represents a part of a ring, such that the the two grooves are concentric to one another and together form a partially annular cavity lying concentric to the shaft, that furthermore an opening opening into this cavity is attached in the one hub part,
which runs tangentially and in the same plane as this cavity, and that a flexible transmission device in the cavity with its one end in contact with the end of the groove of the second hub part and with its second end in front of the opening of the first hub part and an adjusting device are inserted into the opening of the first hub part, which via the inner end of the transmission device a, force on the end of the groove in the second hub part in the sense of a mutual twisting of the two Na-b-, nteüe to cancel the flank play between.
the flanks (close to the wedge and the wedge walls. Based on the drawing, an exemplary embodiment of the invention is explained in more detail below.
Prop. 1 of the drawing shows a part of a winding machine with a device for eliminating the backlash between a spline area and an axially displaceable spline shaft.
Fig. 2 shows a longitudinal section through such a device - partially shown schematically.
FIG. 3 is a plan view of such a device along line 3-3 of FIG. 2, while FIGS. 4-6 are cross-sections along lines 4-4, 5-5 and 6-6 of the device according to FIG display.
FIG. 7 finally shows a side view of the second part of the pinion which forms the annular cavity.
Fig. 1 shows irinien in a known manner equipped with needles 12 winding head 10 for laying the wire. The winding head 10 sits on a toothed shaft 14 through which the wire 16 is guided to be wound through the needles 12 in the inward winding slots of a stator known from dynamo construction (not shown) in the sense of the movements conveyed to the winding head . These very specific winding movements of shaft 14 and winding head 10 are on the one hand vermit means of a drive shaft 18, a crank 20 and a connector 22 with hinge 24 ge controls by the rotation of the crank 20 of the winding head 10 sitting on the shaft 14 initially up and down is moved.
Shaft 14 and winding head 10 are each rotated at the end of their two-sided deflection by means of the pinion 26, which at the same time forms the guide of the shaft 14 moving up and down. A cylinder 28 with a cam guide slot 30 sits on the drive shaft 18. A slide cam 32, which slides in the guide groove 30, sits on an arm 34 which can be rotated at 36 and which is in turn connected by hinge 38 to a rack 40 which the pinion 26 moves. The pinion 26 rotates with the bearing surfaces 44 and 46 in the bearings 48 and 50 fixedly connected to the winding machine.
Fig. 2 to 7 relate to a Ausführungsbei game ider device for canceling the flank game between einr splined hub and a splined shaft axially displaceable therein. It consists of two mutually rotatable parts 52 and 54. The extension 52 shows a cylindrical recess, delimited by the edge 56, the wall 58 coaxial with the shaft 14 and the grooved shaft 14 itself and finally through the tooth-shaped cut-out bottom wall 60.
The section 52 also has grooved teeth 62 designed to guide the toothed shaft 14 in its upward and downward movement, indicated by arrow 64. They extend from the bottom wall 60 to the opening 66, which extends itself to the lower end of the section 52, and the shaft 14 around.
On the outside of the section 52 teeth 42 are also attached, via which the Rit zel and thus the shaft 14, the aforementioned Drehbewe supply is imparted. Section 52 is advantageously made of a good sliding material, such as. B. Bronze is made to prevent seizing at high speeds. Hardened steel sleeves 44 and 46 are then shrunk, adapted to rotate in bearings 48 and 50 in FIG.
The section 54 is cylindrical and fits rotatably into the recess of the section 52, in that the side walls 70 and 58 and the bottom walls 72 and 60 of the two sections slide on one another. Part 54 has internal teeth 74, which also serve to give the toothed shaft 14 a guide.
In the widened head piece 76 of the part 52, an annular groove of semicircular cross-section is let into the side wall 58, which groove corresponds to a corresponding groove in the side wall 70 of the part 54. Together, the two grooves form an annular cavity of circular cross-section 82 concentric to the shaft 14. A nose or projection 84 is located on one side of the enlarged head 76 of section 52, into which a tangential opening 86 communicating with the cavity 82 is let in. It is provided with an internal thread to an adjusting screw 88 with an extension 90 auszuneh men, dic protrudes into the cavity 82.
The adjusting screw 88 is hen with a screw head 92 verses, through the rotation of which the screw bolt and with it the extension 90 in the opening 86 can be provided ver. A chain of touching balls 94 (FIG. 4) filling the cavity 82 is intended to press with its end ball 96 on the end 98 of the annular groove 80 (FIG. 7) of the section 54, while the other end ball 100 is opposite one another the tangential opening 86 is located. It should be noted here that ball 100 is still completely in the annular cavity 80 so that it lies snugly against the walls. The pressure exerted on the ball 100 by the extension 90 propagates through ball 96 to the end of the part groove at 98.
It will now be readily apparent that any play between the toothed shaft 14 and the guide teeth 62 and 74 of the sections 52 and 54 can be immediately and completely eliminated if, by turning the adjusting screw 88 in the manner described, ia on the stop 98 of the section 54 a pressure is exerted so that this has the tendency to contact the other section 52 in the direction of the arrow 102 in Fig.
4, so that the side walls 106 of the teeth 108 press the shaft 14 and convey a tendency to rotate in the sense of arrow 110. This rotational tenancy of the shaft 14 in turn contributes the walls 112 of the teeth 108 against the corresponding side walls 114 of the teeth 62 of this part 52, whereby inevitably jj #>, g, I "i "3s; game, 1 is canceled.
It also results, iclas.s, because, n, k (this fact, idas # s i the parts 52 and 54: made of softer stock material, such as gt, n bronc, - available - , rtig -a wear and tear in front of these and n-ich # t with the harder teeth of the shaft 14 sets, so the latter are spared.
Nevertheless, if wear of the teeth 62 and 74 of the sections 52 and 54 and thus undesired play results, the same can be easily remedied by simply readjusting the screw 92 in the manner described.
The extension 90 on the adjusting screw 88 is one of the essential features of the device described; this is because it is essential that the foremost ball 100 also sits completely in the actual cavity 82 and touches both walls and does not come to lie partially in the opening 86. If it were able to move back and forth in this, the pressure exerted on it would not necessarily and evenly be transferred to the following balls, but it could get stuck in the enlarged opening 116 and damage the walls, which would require the entire device to be dismantled required.
When using the device described, the extreme manufacturing tolerances previously required for the toothing of the shaft and pinion become superfluous, as any play can be prevented by adjusting the adjusting screw accordingly. The easy adjustment and readjustment also enables the use of more suitable material for the production of the sections 52 and 54, i.e. H. they no longer have to be made of hardened steel, which allows a higher sliding speed without having to worry about seizure.
