Clamping device The present invention relates to a clamping device with a face plate.
The clamping of workpieces, in particular of non-rotationally symmetrical workpieces on the faceplate of the known clamping devices is cumbersome and takes a lot of time to verbun. These disadvantages are particularly severe in series production, since precise centering has to be repeated for each workpiece.
The present invention aims to eliminate the deficiency mentioned and to create a jig of the type mentioned which is suitable in particular for use in series production.
According to the invention, a clamping device of the type mentioned at the outset is characterized in that the face plate consists of parts that can be clamped synchronously in the radial direction and on which clamping elements that can be applied to and locked onto the workpiece are arranged.
An embodiment of the subject matter of the invention is shown schematically in the drawing, namely: Figure 1 is a front view of a Aufspannvorrich device with a clamped workpiece; FIG. 2 shows a longitudinal section along the line II-II in FIG. 1, but without a workpiece; 3 shows a partial section through a clamping element on a larger scale, and FIG. 4 shows the clamping element in plan view.
A face plate 1 with a shank 2 has three slots 3, which are evenly distributed in the circumferential direction in axial planes and which extend up to near a thread 4 located at the free end of the shank. The face plate 1 has a conical circumferential surface 5 which rests on an inner cone 6 of a chuck housing 7 and can be axially braced against the inner cone 6 by means of a tensioning device, not shown, engaging the thread 4. The chuck housing 7 is .on a partially shown hollow work spindle 8, for.
B. a Werkzeugma machine which surrounds the shaft 2, rotationally fixed angeord net.
The three-part faceplate has holes 9 which are offset with respect to one another and which are used to receive pivot pins 12 of the clamping elements 10. Each pin carries an eccentric disk 13 on which an approximately cup-shaped attachment 11 is attached and held with a snap ring 15.
(Figure 3) by means of a disk through the eccentric and the pin extending screw 14, each in a; Thread of the hole 9 engages, the clamping elements on the faceplate are lockable bar.
The attachments can have curved and / or flat clamping surfaces. In the drawing, the clamping device is shown in the closed position, the clamping elements being pressed against a prismatic workpiece 16.
The clamping of a workpiece takes place as follows. Clamping elements are attached to each part of the faceplate in such a way that they can be placed on the workpiece in the desired position. The tightly on the workpiece the clamping elements are determined with the associated screw 14. Then the face plate is drawn against the inner cone of the chuck housing by means of the clamping member acting on the thread 4, the clamping elements being pressed synchronously against the workpiece.
To unclamp the workpieces, all that is required is the clamping element acting on the thread 4; the clamping elements themselves remain clamped in their position. In this way, entire series of workpieces can be clamped with the aid of the clamping element, without the need for a new centering.
