Description

2 et3). La pièce11 es-t pourvue d'une rainure13, dans laquelle sont logées les extrémités supérieures15 de l'étrier. La rainure13 empêche ainsi les déplacements de la pièce11.

Leaf Spring The present invention relates to a leaf spring, which is particularly suitable for motor vehicles.

The leaf spring according to the invention is characterized in that the leaves of the spring are separated by strips of porous polyethylene impregnated with lubricant.

The accompanying drawing shows, by title & example, an embodiment of the object of the invention.

Fig. 1 is a cross-sectional view of a spring at the-mes ; in fig. 2 is a longitudinal sectional view of a fragment of the spring, taken along line A-A of f ig. 3, and fig. 3 is a cross-sectional view of the spring.

Apart from the porous polyethylene interleaves, which will be described below, the leaf spring is of the conventional type and comprises a number of 1 leaf springs. These The blades are separated from each other by strips of high density microporous polyethylene 3 impregnated with the lubricant known as e Vyon .

Impregnation of the porous plastic material with lubricant has the effect of reducing the friction between the blades and aids the elimination of the squeaking of the springs. The porous polyethylene impregnated with lubricant also acts as a damping agent against vibrations transmitted through the spring system.

The bands 3 each have a trough profile , the slats are housed in the troughs, the walls of which prevent the bands from moving. The boards are assembled near their ends, there only four leaves, with using a stirrup < B> 5, which surrounds these blades. The caliper is fixed to the lower blade by a rivet 7 and: is spaced from the upper blade by a piece 11 of porous polyethylene (fig. 2 and 3). The part 11 is provided with a groove 13, in which the upper ends are housed 15 of the caliper. The 13 groove thus prevents movement of the part 11.
