Multipurpose Control Apparatus The present invention relates to a multipurpose control apparatus for controlling a plurality of quantities. The previously known regulations, especially for burner systems, have the disadvantage that they do not allow the transition from liquid to gaseous fuel without readjusting the regulation, which is extremely hindering in the event of a rapid changeover from one type of fuel to the other. In addition, the previously known regulating devices are location-dependent in that they have to be connected to the valves directly.
It is possible to carry out a remote transmission of the control movements electrically. However, this is extremely expensive and also prone to failure. The present invention aims to go around these disadvantages.
It is characterized by a carrier which is equipped with a number of bolt groups corresponding to the number of sizes to be controlled.
Exemplary embodiments of the subject matter of the invention are then explained with reference to figures. It shows: FIG. 1 a multi-purpose control device in elevation, partially in section, FIG. 2 the multi-purpose control device shown in FIG. 1 from above, FIG. 3 a regulating disk of a multi-purpose control device for regulating three variables.
The multi-purpose control device shown in FIGS. 1 and 2 has a control disk 1 which is provided with a square door 2 in which the square of a shaft 3 is inserted. Instead of the square passage 2, a corresponding hole with a keyway can be provided. The shaft 3 is mounted in ball bearings 5. These are fastened in a sleeve 7 which is screwed onto a support 8. On one shaft end 55 sits a limiting lever 10 which, in conjunction with a stop bolt 11 in the support 8, limits the rotational movement of the shaft 3 and thus the control disk 1.
Two groups 14 and 17 of threaded bolts 13 and 16 are screwed into the control disk concentrically with one another on diameters. Their ends are designed as cylindrical pins 19, over which clamps 21 are pushed and secured with Seger rings 22. The brackets 21 are used to hold a control belt 24, on whose telzone with a feeler roller 26 is intended to slide.
According to the degree of screwing in the threaded bolts 13 or 16 of the groups 14 or 17, the control band 24 a with respect to the axis of the shaft 3 changing and by turning the threaded bolts ver changeable axial position, which affects the feeler roller 26. This feeler roller 26 is rotatably mounted in a roller carrier 27, while the roller carrier 27 is attached to a threaded bolt 30 of a Kol rod 28 and secured with a lock nut 31.
The piston rod 28 is arranged displaceably in a transmission cylinder 33, the free end of which is closed with a union nut 34, which is designed as a spring seat 35 on the inside and serves to receive a spring 38, the other end of which rests on a counter bearing pin 37 in the piston rod 28. The piston rod 28 is provided at its end facing the spring 38 with a slot 40 which is used to receive a cable 41 in the form of a Bowden cable, which is provided at its end with a seal 42 and hung in a corresponding Publ opening of the piston rod 28.
The cable sheath 44 of the Bowden cable is supported with an end sleeve 45 in the bottom part of the union nut 34.
The second group 17 with the threaded bolt 16 is also equipped with a control band 24, the position of which is determined by the threaded bolt 16. This control belt 24 also controls a feeler roller 48 on a roller carrier 49 which is connected to a piston rod 50. This piston rod 50 is guided in a cylinder 52 which, like the cylinder 33, is held on the support 8 by means of a nut 53. The control disk 1 can be adjusted by a motor as a function of any size, with a servomotor being able to be connected both at the free end 55 and at the free end 56 of the shaft 3.
The cables 41 of the Bowden cables lead via corresponding coupling pieces to the organs to be actuated, d. H. for valves, flaps etc. Ä. (nick shown). The position of these organs is determined by the axial position of the threaded bolts 13 and 16 and the control bands 24 connected to them, in which the feeler rollers 26 are held by the springs 38 in touch with the control bands 24. With a corresponding position of the threaded bolts of one group, the position of the threaded bolts of the other group can be adjusted according to this, whereby a predetermined dependence between the two groups can be achieved.
Not only can one size be matched to the other, but the setting variable selected as an independent variable, for example the amount of fuel, can be set to the requirements by screwing in or unscrewing the threaded bolts accordingly, and the dependent size by adjusting the other group accordingly be brought into the required dependency by threaded bolts.
The use of cable pulls also allows the control system to be set up in a protected or specially suitable location, since this control system does not have to be directly connected to the valves, flaps, etc. controlled by it. These controlled organs are so stressed, e.g. B. by springs that a break in a Bowden cable brings them into their safety stel ment, in which the air valve is opened, the gas valve is closed and the fuel valve for liquid fuel is relieved.
It is of course possible to arrange several groups of threaded bolts on a control disk, as shown in FIG. A control disk 60 is provided with three groups of bores 61, 62 and 63 arranged concentrically to each other in circles, the outermost group with threaded bolts for regulating a gas valve, the second group in the bores 62 for regulating an air flap and the third group with the Bores 63 is provided for the actuation of the fuel valve.
With this arrangement, it is possible, by appropriately adjusting the threaded bolts in the bores 63, to obtain a fuel quantity which runs in a straight line as a function of the angle of rotation of the control disk 60 and which flows out through the atomizer valve, which straightness depends on the relative position of the following threaded bolts . By axially shifting the threaded bolts of a group accordingly, it is possible to change the steepness of the delivery line with a constant valve travel.
But it is also possible to set any curve for the amount of fuel supplied as a function of the angle of rotation of the control disk 60.
According to the set fuel curve for the liquid fuel, the appropriate amount of air can be matched with the help of the threaded bolts in the bores 62 and then also the corresponding gas valve in function of the set air curve in such a way that switching from liquid to gaseous fuel immediately changes during operation can, with the optimal combustion conditions being guaranteed in one case as in the other.
It is basically also possible to provide a translationally movable slide as a carrier and to assign the bolt groups 14 and 17 linearly on this.
