B. in organischen Verdün nungsmitteln, z.
Monochlorkupferphthalocyanintrisulfonsäure- chlorid, Kupferphthalocyanintetracarbonsäurechlorid oder das Umsetzungsprodukt aus 1 Mol Kupfer- phthalocyanindisulfonsäurechlorid;

Process for the preparation of water-soluble dyes of the phthalocyanine series It has been found that new valuable water-soluble dyes of the phthalocyanine series are obtained if phthalocyanine derivatives containing halogen atoms which can be converted with amines in the form of sulfonic acid halide, carboxylic acid halide or halotriazine groups,
with amnoazo compounds of the formula
EMI0001.0017
converts, where R is a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group or an aryl group, A is a phenylene or naphthylene radical, E is the divalent radical of a couplable enol, B is the divalent radical of an aromatic diazo component and X and Y are halogen atoms, and the starting materials are selected so
that the finished dyes contain at least one water-solubilizing group.
Carboxylic acid, sulfonic acid amide and especially sulfonic acid groups are suitable as water-solubilizing groups.
The reaction of the phthalocyanine derivatives mentioned with the aminoazo compounds mentioned is carried out, for. B. organic diluents, z. B. dimethylformamide, N-methyl pyrrolidone, chlorobenzene, nitrobenzene, alcohols or in mixtures such as mixtures of dimethylformamide and methyl alcohol or in mixtures of water and organic solvents, eg. B.
Acetone-water, ethanol-water or dioxane-water mixtures, or in water at Raumtempe temperature with cooling or with moderate heating, z. B. to 50 C, before.
It is expedient to add acid-binding substances to the reaction mixture, such as alkali metal hydroxides, carbonates, hydrogen carbonates, acetates, calcium carbonate or tertiary amines, e.g. B. triethylamine or pyridine.
Phthalocyanine derivatives; containing halogen atoms which can be converted with amines; are z. B. Phthalocyaninesulfonsäurehalogenide, Phthalocyaninkarbonsäurehalogenide or phthalocyanines, which carry mono- or dihalotriazine groups.
The phthalocyanine derivatives mentioned can be derived, for example, from metal-free phthalocyanine or from metal-containing phthalocyanines, such as nickel, cobalt, iron, copper, aluminum, chromium or zinc phthalocyanine. The compounds derived from copper phthalocyanine are the preferred starting materials.
In addition to the halogen atoms which can be reacted with amines, the phthalocyanine derivatives can have further substituents, such as aromatically bonded halogen atoms, alkyl, aryl, alkoxy, aryloxy,
Contain aryl mercapto or aryl sulfonyl radicals. Examples of phthalocyanine derivatives bearing halogen atoms which can be converted with amines are copper, nickel, iron or cobalt phthalocyanine di, tri or tetrasulfonic acid chlorides, copper phthalocyanine trisulfonic acid bromide, metal-free phthalocyanine disulfonic acid chloride,
Monochloro copper phthalocyanine trisulfonic acid chloride, copper phthalocyanine tetracarboxylic acid chloride or the reaction product of 1 mole copper phthalocyanine disulfonic acid chloride;
2 moles of 2,4-diaminobenzenesulfonic acid (1) and 2 moles of cyanuric acid chloride. It is advantageous if, in addition to the substituents mentioned, the phthalocyanine derivatives contain water-solubilizing groups, such as sulfonic acid, sulfonic acid amide or carboxylic acid groups.
These phthalocyanines are also preferred starting materials. The sulfonic acid groups present in the phthalocyanine derivatives are produced, for example, by incomplete saponification of the phthalocyanine-polysulfonic acid halides required as starting materials. However, after the further reaction of the phthalocyaninesulfonic acid halides with the stated <RTI
ID = "0002.0022"> Amino or aminoazo compounds, provided that not all sulfonic acid halide groups have reacted, saponify the remaining sulfonic acid halide groups to sulfonic acid groups or B. convert with ammonia in sulfonic acid amide groups.
Aminoazo compounds of the formula given above are obtained from the diazotized aminoaryl pyridazones of the formula
EMI0002.0038
and enols capable of coupling of the formula
EMI0002.0040
Of the amnoarylpyridazones mentioned, preferred starting materials for the preparation of the new dyes of this invention are those in which X and Y are an atom of the same halogen, preferably chlorine; mean.
Suitable aminoarylpyridazones are, for. B. 1- (3 aminophenyl) -4,5-dichloropyridazon- (6), 1- (4-aminophenyl) -4,5-dicblorpyridazon- (6), 1- (4 aminophenyl) -4,5-dibromopyridazon- (6), 1- (3-amino-4-chlorophenyl) -4,5-dichloropyridazon (6) and 1- (3-amino-6-sulfophenyl) -4,5-dichloropyridazon- (6).
These compounds can be z. B. represent by reacting suitably substituted hydrazines with muco halo acids.
Enols capable of coupling are, for example, 1-aminoarylpyrazolones (5); such as 1- (3-aminophenyl) -3-methylpyrazolone- (5), 1- (3-aminophenyl) -pyrazolone- (5) -carboxylic acid ethyl ester- (3), 1- (4-aminophenyl) -3-methylpyrazolone - (5), 1- (4-aminophenyl) pyrazolone- (5) -carboxylic acid- methyl ester- (3) or 1- (4-methylaminophenyl) -3-methylpyrazolone- (5), acetoacetic acid-N- (3-aminophenyl) -amide, acetoacetic acid-N- (4-aminophenyl) -amide,
3- or 4-aminobenzoyl acetic acid phenylamide and the sulfonic acid or carboxylic acid derivatives of these compounds which are substituted in the aryl radical or pyrazolone radical. Of the amino compounds mentioned are those which contain water-solubilizing groups, such as sulfonic acid or carboxylic acid groups,
preferred as starting materials for the production of the new dyes.
The novel phthalocyanine dyes obtainable according to the invention generally have a green intrinsic color and are particularly suitable for dyeing or printing textile materials such as fibers, flakes, threads, woven and non-woven textiles made of wool, silk, linear fiber-forming polyamides and leather,
especially of textile materials made of native or regenerated cellulose. The use of acid-binding substances in dyeing is advantageous.
The dyeing of textile materials made of cellulose can be done, for example, by treating the goods to be dyed with aqueous solutions containing the new dyes, acid-binding agents such as sodium hydroxide, sodium carbonate, sodium hydrogen carbonate or potassium carbonate and, if necessary, neutral salts such as sodium sulfate,
and customary dyeing: contain auxiliaries, impregnate, dry the material to be dyed and fix the dyeings with steam or hot air at 50 to 150 ° C, preferably 100 to 140 ° C. One can also proceed in such a way that the material to be dyed is pretreated with aqueous solutions of the acid-binding agents mentioned, intermediate drying and then passed through an aqueous bath which contains the new dyes and, advantageously, neutral salts.
Then you dry the color and fix the color with steam or hot air. A modification of this dyeing process consists in
that the dyed material is first padded with aqueous dye solutions and, after intermediate drying, treated with aqueous solutions of acid-binding substances and neutral salts. It is then dried and the dyeings are fixed as indicated above.
A corresponding procedure is followed when printing, for example, cellulose-containing textile materials, the customary printing auxiliaries being used if necessary.
The new dyes produce dyeings and prints with excellent lightfastness and excellent wet fastness properties, especially on cotton.
Compared to the known corresponding green phthalocyanine dyes, which do not contain any groups accessible for fixation in the molecule, the dyeings or prints produced with the new dyes are much more waterfast.
The parts mentioned in the example are parts by weight. Parts of space relate to parts by weight as liters to kilograms under normal conditions. Percentages relate to percentages by weight.
<I> Example </I> 34 parts of 1- (3-amino-6-sulfophenyl) -4,5-dichloropyridazon- (6) are suspended in 400 parts of water and 50 parts of concentrated hydrochloric acid and diazotized with 7 Share sodium nitrite. The resulting diazole solution is allowed to immerse in a solution of 19 parts of the hydrochloride of 1- (4 aminophenyl) -3-methyl pyrazolone- (5)
and run 27 parts of crystallized sodium acetate in 200 parts of water. The mineral acid present in the reaction mixture is blunted with sodium acetate and the mixture is stirred until the coupling is complete, initially with cooling and then at room temperature.
37 parts of a copper phthalocyanine disulfonic acid, which had been prepared by melting urea from equimolar Men conditions of phthalic acid and sulfophthalic acid, are converted into the corresponding tetrasulfonic acid chloride in the usual way by heating in chlorosulfonic acid. The reaction mixture is poured into ice water, the acid chloride is filtered off and washed with ice water.
The filter residue is made into a paste with 200 parts of finely ground ice, neutralized and mixed with the aminoazo compound solution prepared in the first paragraph of the example. The mixture is stirred for 15 hours at room temperature, adding sodium acetate and / or sodium carbonate solution to ensure that a pH of 5 to 7 is maintained in the mixture.
The green dye obtained is then filtered off and dried under reduced pressure.
If instead of the copper phthalocyanine derivative mentioned in the second paragraph, 77 parts of the compound of the formula are used
EMI0003.0040
in this way, a water-soluble green dye is also obtained which dyes cotton in the presence of basic substances in green tones with excellent fastness properties.
Further similar dyes are obtained if, instead of 22.5 parts of the hydrochloride of 1- (4-aminophenyl) -3-methylpyrazolone- (5), 23 parts of the hydrochloride of acetoacetic acid- (4-aminophenylamide) or 28 parts of the hydrochloride of 4-Amsnobenzoylessigsäurephenylamid and / or instead of the copper phthalocyanine derivative mentioned 45 parts of copper or 45 parts of nickel phthalocyanine, 3.3 ', 3 ", 3'fi- or -4.4', 4",
4 "'- tetrasulfonic acid chloride is used.
