Working cylinder for pneumatic and hydraulic pressure media The invention relates to a working cylinder for pneumatic and hydraulic pressure media consisting of a cylinder tube and end caps on the two end faces, in which the end cover can be detached with the help of screw connections running parallel to the cylinder tube axis on an anchor ring coaxial with the cylinder tube are appropriate
which rests with such an outer circumference on the inner surface of the cylinder tube and with its end face facing the respective end cap on a snap ring projecting towards the inside of the cylinder.
According to the invention, the anchor ring is rotatably connected to the end cover, which has a connection opening, via the connecting screws running parallel to the cylinder barrel axis after loosening the connecting screws in its mounting on the cylinder barrel and fitted into a ring-like recess on the inside of the cylinder barrel and between the Snap ring and a shoulder delimiting the recess on the side facing the inside of the cylinder, held immovably in the axial direction,
whereby it has a conically tapering ring extension which protrudes beyond the fitting surface towards the inside of the cylinder and which has sealing rings between its inner surface and a part of the end cover protruding axially beyond the ring extension into the interior of the cylinder and sealing rings between its outer surface and the inside of the cylinder tube holds.
In this way, a non-positive connection between the cylinder tube and the cylinder cover can be made with just a few screws of the usual training with a relatively small diameter. Because the anchor ring, which establishes the connection between the tube and the cover, is on the inside, it is possible to make the outer surface of the cylinder smooth and without protruding parts, so that the cylinder has the smallest possible space requirement and. under certain circumstances: can also be easily accommodated in bores in machine bodies and the like.
The connection can also be arranged in any angular position to each other by adjusting the cover accordingly. Installation is simple, the usual cylinder parts can also be exchanged for special designs, which can also be of a simple design.
In the drawing, an exemplary embodiment of the subject matter of the invention is shown in a side view in an axial section in partial representation.
In the working cylinder for pneumatic and hydraulic pressure media according to the invention, the cylinder tube 1 and the end caps 5 on both sides are arranged and connected to one another in such a way that the circumference of the cylinder is smooth over its entire length without any protruding parts.
The connection between each cylinder cover and the cylinder tube is made with the help of an anchor ring 3, which with its circumference on: the inner surface 2 of the cylinder tube and with its end face facing the respective end cover against an inwardly projecting snap ring 4 on the inside of the The cylinder tube rests and is connected to the associated end cover by connecting screws 7 running parallel to the cylinder axis.
On its side facing the cover 5, the anchor ring 3 rests against a snap ring 4 embedded in the inner surface of the cylinder tube 1. In the direction of the interior of the cylinder, the anchor ring is fixed in its position by a stop shoulder 12 formed on the inside of the cylinder tube.
The cylinder tube is here on the inside of the cylinder. The facing side of the snap ring 4 is provided with a ring-like recess or depression 2 serving to fit the anchor ring, and the anchor ring 3 has an annular shoulder 13 that projects beyond the fitting surface towards the inside of the cylinder and is advantageously conically tapered ,
between its inner surface and a protruding into the interior of the cylinder part 6 of the end cover a sealing ring 8 and between its outer surface and on the inside of the cylinder cylinder a sealing ring 9, which, as well. the ring 8, e.g. B. can be formed as an O-ring or the like, holds.
The connection points between the armature ring 3, the cylinder tube 1 and the cover 5 are sealed, the escape of the pressure medium to the outside along the connecting screws ben and: is prevented by the associated bores.
The anchor ring 3 is arranged in such a way that it can be rotated in its mounting on the cylinder tube at least after loosening the connecting screws 7. It is provided with several threaded bores 14, advantageously evenly distributed around a circle, into which the connecting screws 7, which pass through corresponding bores on the associated end cap and are held by the heads 15, can be screwed.
The inlet for the pressure medium in the cylinder is shown at 10, 11 is the piston rod.
