Locking device for door and window locks with adjustable locking pin There are known locking devices for door and window locks in which at least one locking pin provided either on the sash frame or on the fixed frame engages in a locking plate provided on the fixed frame or on the sash frame in order to close the two frames together lock, whereby the sash frame is usually pressed against the fixed frame at the same time.
The locking pins are generally designed as so-called roller pins.
If the corresponding hardware components are attached inaccurately, even if the wooden frames are shrinking, it can happen that the locking is not carried out properly and tightly, especially with lift doors and lift windows. In order to remedy this deficiency, adjustable locking pins are already known in which the pin is mounted eccentrically on a screw with a fine thread. A new setting or adjustment of the locking pin can then be made by turning the screw if necessary.
However, there is the new disadvantage that, for example, if the screw is adjusted several times, it no longer sits properly in the wood.
The subject of the invention is a new design of such a locking device for door and window closures with adjustable locking pin, in which the locking pin engages a locking plate and characterized according to the invention by a bottom open, pot-like housing with expandable tongues that can be inserted into a frame bore is
The housing end face carries the locking pin lying eccentrically to it and means for spreading the tongues are provided. With regard to further features, reference is made to the description below.
In the drawing, an embodiment of the locking device according to the invention is Darge provides.
Fig. 1 shows the locking pin inserted into a frame bore together with the housing in a vertical section.
Fig. 2 is a top view corresponding to FIG.
Fig. 3 and 4 show the housing for ge is distinguished in a vertical section and in a side view.
Fig. 5 shows the housing of Fig. 4 seen from above.
FIG. 6 is a partial longitudinal section along the line VI-VI of FIG. 5, and FIG. 7 shows a cross-section along the line VII-VII of FIG. 3 on a larger scale.
In the example shown, the locking pin 3, which can carry a roller 4 in a known manner, is riveted or otherwise firmly connected to the end face 1 of a pot-like housing 2. The corresponding hole for the remote part of the Zap fens 3 is denoted by 5. The locking pin 3 assumes an eccentric position to the end face 1 or to the cylindri's housing 2, as can be clearly seen from FIG. 1 of the drawing.
Tongues 7 are formed by longitudinal slots 6 in the lower part of the Ge housing, which run conically or obliquely to the central axis of the housing 2 ver. Between these so-called expansion tongues 7 engages a nut 8 inserted into the housing 2 from below in the form of a plate.
The outer circumferential surface 8 'of this nut is also designed conically in accordance with the conicity of the expansion tongues 7. A screw 10, the head 10 'of which rests in a recessed seat 11 of the housing end face 1, engages in the threaded bore 9 of the nut 8, which is eccentric in the example shown. The conical shape of the expansion tongues 7 is preferably obtained in that the jacket of the housing 2 is provided with a constriction 12 running around it below its cylindrical part.
The housing 2 is inserted into a hole in a wooden frame 13 in such a way that the locking pin 3, 4 assumes the correct position. The screw 10, 10 'is now tightened by means of a screwdriver, as a result of which the nut 8 moves upwards within the tongues 7, which results in the tongues 7 spreading apart. In this way, the housing is firmly seated within the frame bore. By turning the screw 10 back, the clamping can be loosened again, whereupon the housing 2 can be rotated or axially displaced depending on the intended new position of the locking pin.
In order to bring about these movements, a slot-like recess 14 is provided in the housing face, which could also consist of a slot, a polygonal hole or the like. For example, a screwdriver can be engaged in the recess 14 to move the housing 2 within the frame bore.
The effect of the expansion tongues 7 can be increased by outwardly projecting ribs or the like. In the drawing, such ribs running in the longitudinal direction of the tongues are denoted by 15. It can also or additionally be a circumferential rib 16 which is preferably in the region of the tongues 7. The surrounding rib 16 could also run benlinie after a screw. If this rib is pressed into the wood, an axial movement of the housing and thus of the locking pin 3, 4 is obtained by rotating the housing 2.
So that the threaded hole 9 of the nut 8 corresponds in the axial direction with the housing recess 11 or the screw 10, it can be ensured that the nut can only be inserted into the housing from below in this correct position. For example, a longitudinal rib 15 'can be directed inward for this purpose and a corresponding longitudinal groove is then provided in the conical circumference 8' of the nut. By engaging this rib 15 'in the circumference of the nut 8 or by a similar measure, the desired result is obtained.
