Fig. 7).
Fig. 5).
Fig. 6).
Fig. 6).
Dispensing device for containers The present invention relates to a dispensing device for containers for dispensing thick liquid and powdery masses.
When dispensing thick or pasty masses from containers in the form of bottles or tubes, the problem arises that both hands are required to open the container and possibly also to remove the mass. Most such containers are provided with a screw cap which cannot be loosened with one hand alone, which is perceived as disadvantageous from the point of view of the operator.
Containers with a self-closing valve have already been proposed for relatively thin masses to avoid this disadvantage. It has been shown, however, that such valves become ineffective as the viscosity of the mass increases and are therefore limited in their application.
The present invention now aims to provide a dispensing device which allows the disadvantages mentioned. The device according to the invention is characterized in that a dimensionally stable, but deformable output part is provided, which has an output opening that can be shut off by externally applied pressure, an inlet serving to connect to a container, an open, adjoining the inlet,
by pressure from the outside closable valve piece and a between tween the valve piece and the dispensing opening lie lowing and when the valve piece is closed by pressure from the outside through the opening at least partially emptied metering part.
With the described configuration, it is possible, please include one hand, to strip off the closure that clamps or obstructs the opening, to close the valve and at the same time to press the metering part in order to cause or support an outflow of the mass. The other hand remains to hold another object z. B. a brush or a rag, but also an article to be treated, such as a shoe, free.
Another design even ensures that the dispensing device can only be actuated with the thumb or a single finger.
In the drawing, three exemplary embodiments of the Abgabevor device according to the invention are shown. 1 shows a top view of a dispensing device formed with a container in one piece, FIG. 2 shows the dispensing device of FIG. 1 in a side view, partially in section, FIG. 3 shows a dispensing device screwed to a container in FIG a section perpendicular to the actuating direction, Fig. 4 shows a dispensing device with an actuating lever,
in the non-actuated state, in longitudinal section, Fig. 5. the dispensing device of Fig. 4 at the beginning of actuation in longitudinal section, Fig. 6 the dispensing device of Fig. 4 during the dispensing in longitudinal section and Fig. 7 a cross section through the Abgabevor direction of the 6 according to the line VH-VII in FIG. 6.
In FIG. 1, a container 1, which is provided with a filler neck 2, is clamped in a clamp 3 of a wall plate 4, which in turn is attached to a wall 6 by means of two strips 5 according to FIG.
A dimensionally stable, but deformable hollow outlet part 8 adjoins the bottom 7 of the container 1, which is connected to the interior of the container 1 via an inlet opening 9 and has a conical mouthpiece 10 at the bottom, the outlet cannula 11 of which has an outlet opening 12 forms.
The dispensing part 8 is provided with an open valve piece 13 that can be closed by pressure from the outside and has a metering part 14 arranged between the latter and the dispensing opening 12.
The dispensing opening 12 is kept closed by the fact that the conical mouthpiece 10 is clamped in a clamp 15 of the wall plate 4, so that only when the mouthpiece 10 is pulled out of the clamp 15, the dosage in the dosing part 14 has the possibility to emerge from the dispensing opening 12 to the outside. The valve piece 13 has on opposite inner walls cooperating squeeze edges 13a, which can be pressed against one another by pressure on an outer rib 13b,
whereby the valve piece 13 is closed and thus the space of the container 1 is shut off from the cavity 14a of the metering part 14. The hollow space 14a has an enlarged cross-section with respect to the passage of the valve piece 13 and the outlet cannula 11 of the mouthpiece 10. A wall section 14b of the metering part 14 has over the rest. Wall thickness of the metering part 14 a thinner wall thickness and is thus formed as a membrane,
which can be bent inwards by pressure from the outside and thereby at least partially displaces the metered content of the metering part 14 from the cavity 14a. The way this device works is as follows:
If a metered amount is to be removed from the container 1, then the valve piece 13 between the thumb and forefinger, preferably the right hand, is first closed, whereby the end is made through the pinch 13a and at the same time with the other or one of the other fingers the output part 8 pivots slightly forward so that the conical mouthpiece 10 is released from the clamp 15.
Now, while constantly clamping the valve piece 13 between thumb and forefinger by means of the third or fourth finger, pressure is exerted on the wall section 14b, whereby the metered amount located in the metering part 14 is displaced, flows down through the outlet cannula of the conical mouthpiece 10 and through the discharge opening 12 emerges into the open. The dispensing device can therefore be operated with one hand.
In Fig. 3, a dispensing device 8a is screwed by means of an internal thread 15 to a threaded connector 16 of an only partially drawn container 1a.
In Fig. 4, a two-armed lever 17 is hingedly attached by means of two side tabs 18 to a bracket 19, which in turn is attached to the wall plate 4, which also carries the container 1 '. The tabs 18 reach through window-shaped openings in the web 19a of the bracket 19 and are bent inside the bracket 19 at their ends 19b in such a way that the lever 17 can move a certain distance across the bracket 19, but cannot fall out of it ( see Fig. 7).
The upper end of the lever 17 is in operative connection with a valve piece 13 ', by means of which the space of the container 1' can be shut off from the cavity 14a 'of a dosing part 14', while its lower end is connected to a mouthpiece 10 'of the dosing part 14', which is supported on a projection 20 of the wall plate 1 ', is in operative connection. The valve piece 13 'is elastically compressible as a pinch valve and is provided with lugs 13a, which are designed so that the valve piece 13' can be compressed even further when the lugs 13a 'just overlap and thereby exert their shut-off effect.
The middle one. Part of the two-armed lever 17 is bow-shaped and thus adapts to the outer shape of an elastic bladder 21 of the metering part 14 '.
The operation of this device is as follows: By pressing with the thumb or forefinger in the direction of the arrow on the bow-shaped central part of the lever 17, the lever 17 is moved as a whole in the direction of the bladder 21, the elastic valve piece 13 'is closed and the Lever 17 rests with its lower arm on the web 19a of the bracket 19 and with its bracket-shaped part on the bladder 21 (cf. FIG. 5).
The lever 17 then begins to tilt around an edge 22 of the web 19a under the pressure exerted on it, so that its upper bow-shaped arm pivots in the direction of the bladder 21 and thereby compresses it (cf. FIG. 6).
During this pivoting movement, however, the lower end of the lever 17 lifts off the elastic mouthpiece 10 ', so that after the external pressure exerted on it by the lever end disappears, it opens and the mass in the bladder 21 underneath. the displacement pressure of the front bladder wall pushed in by the lever 17 flows through the outlet cannula 11 'to the dispensing opening 12' and out of this into the open air (see FIG. 6).
If the external pressure on the lever 17 ceases, the valve piece 13 ', which has again assumed its original shape, pivots the lever 17 back into its original position due to its elasticity, with the two lugs 13a moving away from each other again, so that from the mass in the container 1 'so much again into the bladder 21, which can flow again to its original shape, as was previously output by it.
With this pivoting back of the lever 17, however, the mouthpiece 10 'is closed again from the lower end of the lever, so that no more mass can escape from the dispensing opening 12'. The transmission ratio at the lever 17 promotes the safe locking of the mouthpiece 10 '. In the meantime, however, a spring could also be arranged between the lever 17 and the wall plate 4, which spring ensures that the mouthpiece 10 'is shut off.
With an elastic design of the upper bow-shaped part of the spring 17, which allows the spring bow to be stretched upwards, the volume reduction of the bladder 21 caused by the lever 17 and thus the output quantity could be increased even further compared to the illustrated embodiment.
If the outlet cannula 11 'in the mouthpiece 10' is sufficiently narrow, the capillary force of the cannula may be sufficient to prevent the mass from flowing out of the mouthpiece 10 'when the dispensing device is not actuated. In this case, the displacement pressure in the bladder 21 could also be used to open the elastic mouthpiece 10 ', in which case an operative connection between the lever 17 and the mouthpiece could then be omitted.
Instead of equipping the container with a wall plate by means of which it is attached to the wall, it could also simply be hung directly on the wall using a hanging eye. The embodiment variants of FIGS. 1 to 3 are particularly suitable for this. If a screw-on dispensing device according to FIG. 3 is selected, a normal bottle with a screw cap can be used as the container.
The invention is in no way bound to the embodiments shown, but the individual units can be varied within the scope of the invention.
