Device for scanning perforated control bands or control cards of a card socket machine The invention relates to a device for scanning from perforated control bands or control cards of a card socket machine, in which the organs scanning the holes move plates depending on the hole and the plates for a handle with back and forth be brought forth moving knives.
The invention consists in that a pretensioned, resilient organ is switched on in the connec tion of each feeler element with the associated board.
Exemplary embodiments of the invention are shown schematically in the drawing. 1 shows a section through the scanning device for a perforated control band and through the control device for the shaft movement, FIGS. 2 and 3 show a two-part reading needle with a pre-tensioned compression spring, FIGS. 4 to 6 show a board with a flexible end which is below certain bias is applied against a stop.
The reading device in FIG. 1 comprises the card roller 10 and the two-part feeler elements 11, which can slide up and down in the guide 12 on the frame 13 of the card shaft machine 14 and scan the perforation of the card tape 15. For this purpose, the card roller 10 is brought into the upper reading position a ge. By swiveling away from position a down, it moves into switch position c. In Fig. 1, the roller 10 is drawn in a central position in which the sensing elements 11 already rest on the unperforated part of the card tape 15 conditions.
In the position b of the roller 10, the lower ends 16 of the feeler elements 11 are just reached when the same is lifted. On the upper part, the head 17 of the tactile organs. 11, each has a control or circuit board 18 which, actuated by the control or switch blades 19, 21 moved to and fro, brings the control lever 22 into its end positions. The lever 22 rotates about the fixed axis 23 and is connected by the brackets 24, 25 to a pair of lifting plates, not shown.
In the end positions of the lever 22, the lifting plate connected to the bracket 24 or the lifting plate connected to the bracket 25 is inserted into the associated lifting beam, not shown. The lifting plate moved by the lifting beam brings the associated shaft into the high or low compartment.
If there is a hole in the card tape 15, the associated feeler element 11 remains with the head 17 on the guide 12, and the control board 18 is in the lower position d, in which it cooperates with the control knife 19. If, on the other hand, there is no hole in the card tape 15 for the organ 11 in the next switching step, the organ 11 is raised when the card roller 10 is raised from the position c to the position @a. Its lower end 16 rests on the card tape 15, the head 17 lifts off the guide 12 and brings the control board 18 into the upper position e and thus into the area of the control knife 21.
The control knives 19, 21 are drawn in the central position M. They move on a circular arc 37 in opposite directions in the order of the arrow directions 26, 27. indicated for each of the control knives 19, 21
The feeler element 11 in FIGS. 2 and 3 consists of a lower part, the feeler pin 28, and an upper part, the displaceable head 17. The feeler pin 28 has a stop 29 designed as a collar and a pin 30 for guiding the spring 31 The head 17 has a guide 32 for the pin 28 and a sleeve 33 with a locking pin 34.
The compression spring 31 lies between the collar 29 and the locking pin 34; it is pretensioned in that in the relaxed state it is longer than the distance between the collar 29 and the pin 34.
The feeler element 11 in Fig. 2 stands on the control band 15 and has the board 18 so far raised that the nose 35 of the upper control knife 21 touches the bottom of the incision 36 so that the board 18 through the nose 35 in is secured in each case. The latter moves on the circular arc 37 from the central position M in FIG. 2 to the position L in FIG. 3 and decreases by the distance k. As a result, the board 18 lowers at its end 38 by the distance m and is in the position e '.
The preload of the spring 31 in the installed state is on the one hand greater than the force that is required when reading in the sensing elements 11 to lift the freely movable plates 18 when the card roller 10 moves from the switching position c to the end position a, FIG. 1, is raised. On the other hand, when the end 38 is lowered, the guide 32 is lifted by the distance in from the collar 29, the pressure of the spring 31 increasing only slightly and being a fraction of the force that would be required to pierce the control band 15 with the stylus 28.
The locking pin has a recess 39 in the form that when the sleeve 33 is flanged, its end 40 is inserted into the recess 39 and secures the pin 34 against axial displacement. The stylus 28 and the head 17 can be made of various materials which.
Instead of providing the feeler element 11 with a flexible part 32 to 34, the circuit board 18 in FIGS. 4 to 6 has a spring part. In FIG. 4 the leaf spring 41 is fastened by means of the screw 42. The left end of the board 18 has a recess 43 and a stop 44 for the spring 41 so that it rests against the stop 44 with the necessary bias when tightening the screw 42. The feeler element 45 is in one piece and when the plate 18 is lowered because of the lowering of the nose 36, FIG. 3, the leaf spring 41 is lifted from the stop 44.
When the card roller 10 is lowered, the feeler element 45 falls down and its head 46 rests on the guide 47.
In Fig. 5, a hairpin-shaped leaf spring 48 is used to obtain a white spring through sufficient length. It rests on the stop 49, which is also used to attach it to the board 18, with bias. The feeler member 50 has a collar 51 which rests on the guide 52 when the roller 10 is in the switching position c, FIG. 1. The upper leg 53 of the guide 52 is removable. In Fig. 6, the end 54 of the plate 18 is designed as a spring.
The head 55 of the bolt 56 serves as a stop for the end 54, which has a bore 57. The control or switching knife 58, of which only one is drawn, move in a straight line by means of sliding blocks 59 in the slots 60. In the upper and lower end positions, the plates 18 are inclined relative to the horizontal. Therefore, in spite of the rectilinear guidance of the knives 58, the sinker 18 lowers when the upper knife 58 is shifted from the central position M to the position L by the distance p. The nose 61 constantly touches the bottom of the incision 62.
The movement of the joint 63 during the rotation of the control lever 22 also acts in a similar sense, even if the slot 66 would run parallel to the inclined board 18 th. Thus, the end 54 of the board 18 is lifted from the head 55 of the bolt 56 in the position shown.
