Radial plain bearing The present invention relates to a radial plain bearing on small appliances, in particular circulating pumps.
When using radial plain bearings in small apparatus construction, such as circulating pumps, two aligned bearing bores are provided in the housing, into which the radial bearing bodies are inserted, on which the shaft is rotatably supported with its two bearing journals. However, it has been shown that when assembling the bearings it is extremely difficult to bring them into an exact common line of alignment, so that a slight tilting of the shaft is practically unavoidable, which results in heavy wear on the shaft and bearing.
If water is also used as a lubricant, for example in circulating pumps for central heating systems, in which, due to the poor stability of the lubricant between the sliding surfaces of the shaft and the bearing body, it tears off with little tilting of the shaft, it is often very difficult to prevent wear to be kept within economic limits.
The present invention now aims to create a radial slide bearing in which the wear is greatly reduced and a simplified assembly is achieved.
The radial sliding bearing according to the invention is characterized in that the bearing bore has a radially inwardly directed rib along the circumference, on which the shaft is rotatably supported, and that the bearing bore has an inclined shoulder adjacent to the shaft end, the inclination of which towards the end of the bearing bore is directed and on which the radial bearing body is slidably supported when pivoting, springs are seen in front that press the radial bearing body resiliently into the bearing bore, and other means that counteract a rotational movement of the radial bearing body ent, for the purpose,
that the axis of the radial bearing body is coaxial to the shaft axis during operation.
An example embodiment of the inventive radial plain bearing is explained in more detail below with reference to the drawing.
They show: FIG. 1 a radial sliding bearing in axial section and FIG. 2 a side view of the design according to FIG. 1
The bearing bore 1 in a housing part 2, in which a radial bearing body 3 with a shaft 4 is arranged, has a narrow rib 5 <along its circumference approximately along its circumference / B> and a shoulder 6 adjacent to the shaft end.
The shoulder 6 is spherical. The radial bearing body 3 guided radially through the rib 5 lies on the inside of the bearing bore 1 with its slightly rounded, outer edge 7 </ B> at the shoulder 6 . As shown in FIG. 1, which shows an axial section through the radial sliding bearing, the piercing point S of the axle is through a transverse plane through the center of the rib 5 < / B> the fulcrum around which the radial bearing body 3 can be moved in the bearing bore 1 .
The radial bearing body 3 protruding from the bearing bore 1 has two opposing grooves 8 on its outer face, as FIG. 2 shows in more detail. In these grooves, tabs 9 of a retaining ring 10 engage, which is screwed on by means of screws 11 on the inside 12 of the housing part 2 and a rotation of the Radial bearing body 3 prevented.
The grooves 8 are also so deep that the radial bearing body 3 can be axially displaced in the bearing bore 1 with two in bores 13 </ B> of the radial bearing body 3 borrowed coil springs 14 are supported against the tabs 9 and the radial bearing body against the shoulder 6 of the bearing bore 1 Press .
It would also be conceivable to make the retaining ring from springs of the material, the tabs then being biased against the bearing, resiliently resting in the grooves of the radial bearing body and pressing the latter into the bearing bore so that the coil springs would be omitted in this training.
The design of the radial plain bearing ensures that the axis of the radial bearing body is set coaxially to the shaft axis during operation, in that the radial bearing body moves around its pivot point S in accordance with the deflections of the shaft the shoulder of the bearing bore on the edge of the radial bearing body on the former moves.
The force from the shaft to the radial bearing body is transmitted by the lubricating film between the interacting sliding surfaces without it tearing off. The sufficient flexibility of the radial bearing body is determined by the preload of the springs acting axially on it and can be adjusted with them.
As a result of the only slight displacement of the edge of the radial bearing body on the shoulder of the bearing bore, it would also be possible to design the shoulder and edge as inclined surfaces or to let an inclined surface interact with a spherical one.
Another advantage of the design of the radial plain bearing is that the radial bearing body can be easily removed from the bearing bore and thus replaced without damaging the bearing bore, as is easily the case when bearing bodies pressed into bearing bores are knocked out or pushed out.
