Device for spraying liquids The present invention relates to a device for spraying liquids, in particular agents for pest control, with a container.
For the control of diseases and animal pests in horticulture and agriculture, various devices are available to the farmer and garden owner. Among the means that are used for pest control, liquid sprays nowadays play a prominent role. When spraying such pesticides, make sure that the spray liquid is finely atomized in order to protect the leaves; To be able to cover blossoms or fruits with a fine and preferably closed protective layer.
In order to achieve a fine atomization of the spray liquid, it has to be pressed through the spray nozzle of the spray tube with pressure.
In large-scale farming and viticulture, motor sprayers are often used, which generate an injection pressure of around 10-50 atmospheres, so that the necessary fine atomization and the required throw of the jet are achieved.
In horticulture, portable spraying devices are mostly used, in which the pressure required for spraying work has to be generated through physical work. The pressure achieved in this way is usually only a few atmospheres. The major disadvantage of these so-called hand sprayers is that considerable physical effort has to be exercised, which very quickly leads to symptoms of fatigue, and the pressure drops so much when the physical output drops that it is no longer sufficient to fine the spray liquid to atomize, whereby drops then form on the leaves and no longer a cohesive protective layer can form.
Backpack sprayers have a weight of about 25-40 kg with the filling, which means that spraying work with such devices can only be carried out by strong people.
The present invention is characterized by the fact that the container is divided into two chambers by a movable, sealed partition, one chamber serving to hold the liquid to be sprayed and the other chamber to hold a pressure medium, the one emanating from this medium Pressure is transmitted via the partition to the first chamber, so that the liquid in this can be sprayed.
The method used to operate the device is characterized in that the chamber intended to receive the pressure medium is connected to the water supply network.
The usual hose lines can be used to supply the pressurized water from the water supply point of the public water network, which minimizes the set-up time for commissioning the facility.
As with the large motorized sprayers, all that is necessary is to adjust the spray hose. The facility is extremely cheap to operate because neither electrical power for engines nor liquid fuels for internal combustion engines are required. The device is only connected to a water pipe and is ready for use. The pressurized water consumption from the public water network is low; it essentially corresponds to the amount of spray liquid used.
Smaller devices can be placed on footrests, those with a large capacity can be set up to be transportable. The flexible lines also allow the installation site to be freely selected.
Exemplary embodiments of the subject matter of the invention are shown in the accompanying drawing. 1 shows a schematic view of the device with an intermediate wall in the rest position, FIG. 2 shows a schematic view of the device with an intermediate wall deflected by the spray agent, FIG. 3 shows a schematic view of the device with an intermediate wall deflected by the pressurized water, FIG Schematic view of the device with an intermediate wall designed as a hose, FIG. 5 is a schematic view of the device with an intermediate wall designed as a bladder.
According to Fig. 1 to 3, the container 1 consists of two shells 2, wherein the movable, tight inter mediate wall 8 between the shells 2 is clamped. The partition 8 consists, for example, of elastic, rubber-like material that cannot be chemically decomposed by the spray liquid. The intermediate wall or membrane 8 divides the interior of the container 1 into a first chamber 1 a and a second chamber 1 b. The membrane 8 is elastic in such a way that, given the appropriate pressure conditions, both chambers 1 a and 1 b can be enlarged to such an extent that either one chamber or the other occupies practically the entire interior of the container 1.
A filling line 11 with a sieve 7, an outlet opening 12 and a pressure protection device 13 is arranged on the upper shell 2 in the illustration, the filling line 11 being closable by a shut-off valve 5.
A pressurized water supply 9, which can be closed by a tap 3, and a pressurized water outlet 10, which can be closed by a closing tap 4, are arranged on the lower shell 2. The container 1 can be placed on supports 14.
To fill the spray liquid into the loading container 1, the valve 3 for the Druckwasserzu guide 9 is closed and the shut-off valve 4 in the pressurized water outlet 10 is opened. The shut-off valve 5 in the filling line 11 is opened and the spray liquid is poured into the chamber 1 a through the filling funnel 6 via the sieve 7. Under the weight of the spray liquid, the elastic membrane 8 is deflected towards the lower shell 2 until the chamber la practically fills the entire interior of the container 1 and is completely filled with spray liquid (FIG. 2).
After filling the chamber 1 a, the shut-off valve 5 in the filling line 11 and the shut-off valve 4 in the pressurized water outlet 10 are closed.
To provide the device for spraying the filled liquid, the pressurized water supply 9 to the chamber 1 b is verbun through a water hose to the water supply network and the outlet opening 12 for the spray liquid through a pipe with the spray nozzle. If the faucet 3 of the pressurized water supply 9 is opened, the water penetrates into the chamber l6, the membrane 8 being deflected against the upper shell 2 according to the water pressure and the spray liquid from the chamber la through the line with the outlet opening 12 through a pipe connected spray nozzle is pressed out (Fig. 3).
The overpressure protection device prevents the membrane 8 from being pressed into the filling line 11 when the membrane 8 is completely deflected against the upper shell 2 and the water is continuously supplied.
After opening the shut-off valve 4, the water flows out again through the pressurized water expansion 10. In the exemplary embodiment shown in FIG. 4, which is provided with the reference numerals of the first exemplary embodiment, the partition is designed as an elastic hose 15 and is connected to the pressurized water supply 9 and the pressurized water outlet 10. In this game Ausführungsbei the interior of the hose 15 is the Kam mer 1b and the interior of the container is the Kam mer la. The outlet opening 12 is seen in this exemplary embodiment with a stopcock 16 from ver.
With the shut-off valve 5 open and the stopcock 16 closed, the spray liquid is poured through the filling funnel 6 through the sieve 7 into the chamber 1 a. For this work, the cock 3 in the pressurized water supply 9 is closed and the shut-off valve 4 in the pressurized water course 10 is opened. The weight of the spray liquid filled in compresses the hose 15 located in the chamber 1 a completely, with the pressurized water still in the hose 15 (chamber 1 b) draining through the open pressurized water outlet 10. If the chamber la is filled with spray liquid. Shut-off valve 5 and shut-off valve 4 closed, the pressurized water supply 9 opened through valve 3.
As soon as the stopcock 16 in the outlet opening 12 is opened, the pressurized water penetrates through the pressurized water supply 9 into the hose 15 and pushes the spray liquid filled in the chamber la through the inlet opening 12, where the hose is water under the incoming pressure expands until the wall of the hose 15 rests against the inner wall of the container 1 and is completely filled with pressurized water. In this state, all of the spray liquid is pressed out of the chamber la. The valve 3 is closed again and the shut-off valve 4 is opened so that the pressurized water can flow through the pressurized water outlet la.
In the exemplary embodiment shown in FIG. 5, which is provided with the reference number of the two previous examples, the intermediate wall is designed as an elastic bladder 17 and is connected to the filling line 11. The handling of this device corresponds to the example of the first embodiment, the interior of the bladder 17 being the chamber la and the interior of the container 1 being the chamber 1b.
It should also be noted that the partition 8 can also be designed as a bellows.
Furthermore, the pressure in the chamber 1b can also be generated by means other than water.
The device can be stationary or transportable, for example portable on the back, out leads.
