Schutzhülle mit Tampon
Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft eine Schutzhülle mit Menstruationstampon mit einem sich beim Einführen des Tampons über die einführende Hand legenden Schirm.
Bekannt sind Schutzhüllen für Tampons mit einem eine Verlängerung des umschlossenen Tampons bildenden Griffteil; derartige Schutzhüllen dienen zur Erleichterung der Einführung des Tampons.
Die am Tampon angebrachte Rückzugkordel ist so gelegt, dass sie zum Aufreissen der Hülle dienen kann.
Ferner sind Tamponhüllen bekannt, die ebenfalls in Verlängerung des Tampons einen Griffteil und am Übergang zwischen dem Hülsenteil und dem Griffteil eine schirmartige Schutzkappe aufweisen, die vor Gebrauch des Tampons iiber den den letzteren umfassenden Hülsenteil gefaltet ist und bei Gebrauch des Tampons vor dessen Einführung über die den Tampon haltende Hand gestülpt werden kann. Diese Ausführungsform ist zufolge der Mehrteiligkeit der Schutzhülle teuer und ergibt wegen des über den Tampon vorstehenden Griffteils relativ voluminöse Verpackungen.
Die Erfindung besteht demgegenüber darin, dass die Schutzhülle durch die Schirmfolie selbst gebildet und das über den Tampon vorstehende offene Ende des Schirmes durch einen lösbaren Verschluss an dem Tampon gesichert ist.
Die erfindungsgemässe Ausführung ist wesentlich billiger als die letzterwähnte bekannte Ausführung, und die Verpackung ist kleiner. Ein aus Karton bestehender Hülsenteil kommt in Wegfall, da die verwendete Hüllenfolie selbst vor Gebrauch des Tampons dessen Schutzhülle bildet und bei Gebrauch, d. h. vor Einführung des Tampons, sich entfaltend über die einführende Hand legt.
Zweckmässig ist die Anordnung so getroffen, dass das über den Tampon vorstehende offene Ende der Hülle zu dem Tampon zurückgefaltet und dort gesichert ist.
Die Sicherung kann beispielsweise durch ein Band oder eine Kappe erfolgen; diese Sicherungsorgane können aus elastischem Material bestehen, so dass sie leicht abstreifbar sind. Es kann aber auch ein aufreissbares Band oder eine aufreissbare Kappe als Verschlussorgan Verwendung finden. Bei Tampons mit Rückzugkordel kann diese zum Aufreissen des Bandes bzw. der Kappe dienen.
Schliesslich kann der Verschluss durch Schlitze in einem Quersteg einer Verpackungsschachtel gebildet sein, derart, dass er sich bei Entnahme des Tampons aus dieser Schachtel von selbst löst.

Der in den Fig. 1-3 gezeigte Tampon 1 aus saugfähigem Material besitzt in üblicher Weise eine Rückzugkordel 2 und eine durch eine Folie aus weichem Material gebildete Schutzhülle 3. Beim Verschliessen des Tampons 1 wird die Folie von der Mitte aus schirmartig um den Tampon 1 gewickelt, so dass die Rückzugkordel längs des Tampons verläuft und an der Offenseite des Schirmes aus der Schutzhülle herausragt. Wie Fig. 3 zeigt, wird der Verschluss durch Zurückfalten des den Tampon 1 überragenden Schirmteiles 4 auf den Tampon gebildet, anschliessend wird dieser zurückgefaltete Schirmteil mittels eines Bandes oder einer Kappe am Tampon gesichert. In Fig. 4 ist ein solches schmales Sicherungsband 5 gezeigt, während das Sicherungsband 6 des Beispiels nach Fig. 5 annähernd die Länge des Tampons 1 besitzt.
Bei der Variante nach Fig. 5a ist eine Sicherungskappe 6a von annähernd Tamponlänge vorgesehen. Band oder Kappe können aus elastischem Material z. B. Gummi bestehen, so dass sie leicht auf- bzw. abgestülpt werden können, oder sie können als Aufreissband oder Kappe z. B. aus Papier ausgebildet sein. Zum Aufreissen kann in diesem Fall ein Aufreissband oder Faden in das Sicherungsorgan eingelegt sein.
Wie in Fig. 6 gezeigt, kann zum Aufreissen des Bandes 6 (oder 5) auch die Rückzugkordel 2 selbst verwendet werden. In verpacktem Zustand schützt das breite Band 6 nicht nur den Tampon 1, sondern auch die Schutzhülle 3 samt ihrem auf den Tampon zurückgefalteten Teil sowie die Rückzugkordel, von der nur ein kleiner, das Anfassen der Kordel gerade noch gestattender Endteil unter dem Band hervorragt.
Nach dem Aufreissen des Sicherungsbandes 6 gemäss Fig. 6 hat sich die Schutzhülle 3 schirm artig geöffnet und liegt schützend auf der Hand. Auch der den Tampon einführende Finger wird von der Folie geschützt. Gleichzeitig wurde die Rückzugkordel 2 zur Erfüllung ihres Zweckes freigelegt.
Beim Beispiel nach Fig. 8 sind mehrere, je in eine Schutzhülle 3 schirmartig eingewickelte Tampons in einer Schachtel 7 verpackt, die einen mit Schlitzen 8 versehenen Quersteg 9 aufweist. Der über den Tampon vorstehende Schirmteil der Hülle 3 ist durch zwei dieser Schlitze 8 geführt und auf den Tampon zurückgelegt, so dass der Steg 9 einen sicheren Verschluss für die Schutzhülle 3 bildet, der beim Herausnehmen der einzelnen Tampons aus der Schachtel automatisch gelöst wird.

In contrast, the invention consists in that the protective cover is formed by the screen film itself and the open end of the screen protruding beyond the tampon is secured on the tampon by a releasable lock.
The embodiment according to the invention is significantly cheaper than the last-mentioned known embodiment, and the packaging is smaller. A sleeve part made of cardboard is no longer necessary, since the cover film used forms the protective cover of the tampon itself before it is used and when it is used, i. H. before inserting the tampon, unfolds over the introducing hand.
The arrangement is expediently such that the open end of the sleeve protruding beyond the tampon is folded back towards the tampon and secured there.
It can be secured, for example, by a tape or a cap; These safety devices can be made of elastic material so that they can be easily removed. However, a tearable tape or a tearable cap can also be used as the closure member. In the case of tampons with a pull-back cord, this can be used to tear open the tape or cap.
Finally, the closure can be formed by slots in a transverse web of a packaging box in such a way that it detaches itself when the tampon is removed from this box.

The tampon 1 made of absorbent material shown in FIGS. 1-3 has in the usual way a pull-back cord 2 and a protective cover 3 formed by a film of soft material. When the tampon 1 is closed, the film is umbrella-like around the tampon 1 from the center wrapped so that the pull-back cord runs along the tampon and protrudes from the protective cover on the open side of the umbrella. As FIG. 3 shows, the closure is formed by folding back the screen part 4 projecting beyond the tampon 1 onto the tampon, then this folded screen part is secured to the tampon by means of a tape or a cap. FIG. 4 shows such a narrow securing band 5, while the securing band 6 of the example according to FIG. 5 has approximately the length of the tampon 1.
In the variant according to FIG. 5a, a securing cap 6a of approximately tampon length is provided. Band or cap can be made of elastic material e.g. B. consist of rubber so that they can easily be turned up or down, or they can be used as a tear tape or cap z. B. be made of paper. In this case, a tear-open tape or thread can be inserted into the securing element for tearing it open.
As shown in FIG. 6, the pull-back cord 2 itself can also be used to tear the tape 6 (or 5). In the packed state, the wide band 6 protects not only the tampon 1, but also the protective cover 3 including its part folded back onto the tampon and the pull-back cord, of which only a small end part protrudes under the band, which allows the cord to be touched.
After tearing open the securing tape 6 according to FIG. 6, the protective cover 3 has opened like an umbrella and is protective on the hand. The finger that introduces the tampon is also protected by the film. At the same time, the retraction cord 2 was exposed to fulfill its purpose.
In the example according to FIG. 8, several tampons, each wrapped in a protective cover 3 like an umbrella, are packed in a box 7 which has a transverse web 9 provided with slots 8. The screen part of the cover 3 protruding over the tampon is passed through two of these slots 8 and placed back on the tampon, so that the web 9 forms a secure closure for the protective cover 3, which is automatically released when the individual tampons are removed from the box.
