Packung mit einem Menstruafionstampon
Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft eine Packung mit einem Menstruationstampon, der aus saugfähigem, gepresstem Material mit einer Rückzugkordel gebildet ist. Erfindungsgemäss zeichnet sich die Packung dadurch aus, dass der Tampon in einer Schutzhülle verpackt ist, die sich schirmartig öffnen kann, um beim Einführen des Tampons in die Vagina die einführende Hand zu schützen.
Zweckmässig besteht die Schutzhülle aus einer weichen Folie, die schirmförmig zu einer Umhüllung für den Tampon gefaltet ist, und zwar so, dass der Tampon an einem Ende und auf seiner ganzen Länge umschlossen ist und die Hülle zweckmässig den Kopfteil des Tampons überragt. Der überragende Teil kann mit einem leicht lösbaren Verschluss versehen sein. Die Zeichnungen zeigen Ausführungsbeispiele der Erfindung.
Fig. 1 zeigt schaubildlich einen Tampon und eine noch ungefaltete Folie, aus der die Umhüllung gebildet wird.
Fig. 2 zeigt den Tampon in verschlossener Umhüllung.
Fig. 3 zeigt die nach Öffnung des Hüllenverschlusses sich auf die Hand legende schirmförmig geöffnete Schutzfolie.
Fig. 4 zeigt einen Einführungsstab mit aufgestecktem, noch in der Schutzhülle verschlossenem Tampon.
Fig. 5 zeigt ein weiteres Ausführungsbeispiel eines Einführungsstabes mit verstellbarer Anschlagmanschette.
Fig. 6 zeigt eine geöffnete Schachtel, die der Verpackung von Tampons dient mit als Verschluss für die Tamponhüllen dienendem Klemmsteg..
In Fig. 1 ist 1 ein beispielsweise aus Watte gepresster Tampon mit Kopfteil 2 und der in bekannter Weise vor dem Pressen des Tampons mit der Watte vernähten Rückzugkordel 3, die am untern Ende des Tampons aus diesem austritt. 4 ist eine viereckige, noch ungefaltete Folie aus weichem Material aus der die Schutzhülle des Tampons gebildet wird. Diese Folie kann auch rund sein, oder eine beliebig andere, dem Zweck dienliche Form und Grösse aufweisen.
Fig. 2 zeigt den in die Schutzhülle 4 eingepackten Tampon 1. Die Folie 4 gemäss Fig. 1 ist von der Mitte aus schinnförmig zu einer Schutzhülle gefaltet. Diese ist am obern, den Tampon überragenden Teil mit einem durch Rillen 5 gebildeten, leicht lösbaren Verschluss geschlossen. An Stelle von Rillen kann die Schutzhülle, sofern sie aus schweissbarem Material besteht, auch durch Schweissen verschlossen werden. Die Kordel 3 ist längs des Tampons in der Schutzhülle bis zum Kopfteil des Tampons geführt und tritt dort aus der Umhüllung heraus. Der Verschluss ist zweckmässig so ausgebildet, dass er durch Zug an der Kordel 3 sich leicht löst.
Beim Lösen des Verschlusses 5 öffnet sich die Schutzhülle 4 schirmartig. Sie legt sich schützend über die den Tampon haltende Hand, wie in Fig. 3 dargestellt. Die Schutzhülle 4 dient sowohl als hygieni-sche Verpackung für den Tampon, als auch zur hygienischen Einführung desselben in die Vagina.
Fig. 4 unterscheidet sich vom Ausführungsbeispiel gemäss Fig. 3 dadurch, dass der Verschluss mittels einer Klammer 6 gebildet ist. Überdies ist dem Tampon ein Hilfsstab 7 zugeordnet, der ein tieferes Einführen des Tampons ermöglicht. Der Hilfsstab besitzt beidenends Vertiefungen 8 bzw. 9 zur Aufnahme des Tampons einerseits und des den Tampon einführenden Fingers anderseits. An Stelle eines massiven Stabes könnte auch ein Rohrstück zweckdienlich sein. Auch könnte der Hilfsstab mit der Schutzhülle fest verbunden sein.
Fig. 5 zeigt eine weitere Ausbildung des Hilfsstabes mit angeklemmter Manschette 10, welche in ihrer Stellung in bezug auf die Enden des Hilfs stab es verschiebbar ist. Mit dieser verstellbaren Manschette kann die Einführungstiefe für den Tampon individuell eingestellt werden, so dass der Tampon hinter die Schliessmuskel zu liegen kommt, wo er das Tragen nicht behindert.
Fig. 6 zeigt als weiteres Ausführungsbeispiel einen in der Schutzhülle 4 eingeschlossenen Tampon 1 mit zugeordneter Aussenverpackung 11, gebildet aus einer äusseren Hülle 12 und einer Schublade 13. In der letzteren befindet sich ein Klemmsteg 14, mit Klemmnuten 15. Die Klemmnuten nehmen den, den Tampon überragenden Teil der Schutzhülle 4 auf und bilden, einen zweckmässigen KlemmverschIuss für die Schutzhülle 4, die sich automatisch öffnet, sobald der Tampon aus der Aussenverpackung 11 herausgenommen wird. Die Aussenverpackung kann zur Aufnahme von einem oder mehreren Tampons ausgebildet sein.
Der Steg 14 wird zweckmässig mit Perforationen 16 versehen, die es erlauben, einzelne Klemmstücke 17 des Steges 14 herauszubrechen, die als Einzelverschluss dienen, wenn z. B. auf eine Reise nicht die ganze Packung, sondern nur einzelne Tampons mitgenommen werden sollen.

The present invention relates to a pack with a menstrual tampon which is formed from absorbent, pressed material with a pull-back cord. The protective cover expediently consists of a soft film which is folded like an umbrella to form a cover for the tampon in such a way that the tampon is enclosed at one end and over its entire length and the cover expediently protrudes over the head part of the tampon. The protruding part can be provided with an easily releasable lock. The drawings show exemplary embodiments of the invention.

In Fig. 1, 1 is a tampon, for example, pressed from cotton wool with head part 2 and the pull-back cord 3 which is sewn to the cotton wool in a known manner before pressing the tampon and which emerges from the lower end of the tampon. 4 is a square, still unfolded film made of soft material from which the protective cover of the tampon is formed. This film can also be round, or have any other shape and size suitable for the purpose.
FIG. 2 shows the tampon 1 packed in the protective cover 4. The film 4 according to FIG. 1 is folded in the shape of a channel from the middle to form a protective cover. This is closed on the upper part protruding from the tampon with an easily detachable closure formed by grooves 5. In place of grooves, the protective cover, provided it is made of weldable material, can also be closed by welding. The cord 3 is guided along the tampon in the protective cover up to the head part of the tampon, where it emerges from the cover. The closure is expediently designed so that it is easily released by pulling on the cord 3.
When the closure 5 is released, the protective cover 4 opens like an umbrella. It lies protectively over the hand holding the tampon, as shown in FIG. The protective cover 4 serves both as hygienic packaging for the tampon and for the hygienic introduction of the same into the vagina.
FIG. 4 differs from the exemplary embodiment according to FIG. 3 in that the closure is formed by means of a clip 6. In addition, an auxiliary rod 7 is assigned to the tampon, which enables the tampon to be inserted deeper. The auxiliary rod has depressions 8 and 9 at both ends for receiving the tampon on the one hand and the finger introducing the tampon on the other. Instead of a solid rod, a piece of pipe could also be useful. The auxiliary rod could also be firmly connected to the protective cover.
Fig. 5 shows a further embodiment of the auxiliary rod with clamped sleeve 10, which rod in position with respect to the ends of the auxiliary rod it is displaceable. With this adjustable cuff, the insertion depth for the tampon can be set individually so that the tampon comes to rest behind the sphincter muscle, where it does not hinder carrying.

In the latter there is a clamping web 14 with clamping grooves 15.
