Flush-mounted branching device for electrical lines The invention relates to a flush-mounted branching device for electrical lines, with a box and a box lid.
In the case of branching devices of this type, the box is let into the masonry and then closed by the lid after the electrical branches have been installed.
In the known branching devices of this type, the components necessary for branching off the electrical lines are mounted in the inside of the box. This means that several components that still have loose parts, such as clamping screws, washers, etc., have to be inserted and fastened into the interior of the opened box, which can have a considerable depth; furthermore, the electrical lines must be sorted, wired and connected to the distribution terminals through the opening of the junction box.
Such a way of working is because of the poor accessibility to the individual components used for the elec trical branching off quite cumbersome, difficult and time-consuming. In addition, the required accessibility to the inside of the box places a restriction on the attachment of the junction box at any point in the masonry, so it is almost impossible to attach such a junction box very close to the floor because of the poor accessibility to the inside of the box.
Likewise, the box cannot be made as arbitrarily small as the few components used for the electrical branching would allow, since then access to the inside of the box would no longer be possible at all. For the same reason, the depth of the junction box is also limited.
In the known branch devices so once on a certain size of the junction box and an accessible from all sides to the box in the masonry consideration must be taken into account, d. H. A relatively large junction box must be embedded in a free wall area all around, which, in addition to the unfavorable installation conditions, results in an unsightly appearance of the wall surface.
The object of the invention is to create a progressive flush-mounted junction device without the disadvantages described.
This object is achieved by the Abzweigeinrich device according to the invention essentially in that components serving for the electrical branch are arranged on the inside of the can lid and the latter is pivotably mounted on the can in such a way that in one end position of the pivotable area of the Can lid the construction parts are located inside the can and the junction box is closed by the can lid, and that in the other end position of the can lid, the components are outside of the can interior.
Further details of the invention emerge from the subclaims, the description and the drawing. In the drawing, two practical exemplary embodiments are shown purely as an example.
1 shows a branching device in front view, FIG. 2 the same branching device in longitudinal section, partially open, FIG. 3 shows the blank for the box of the device according to FIGS. 1 and 2, FIG. 4 shows another branching device in front , Figure 5 shows the branching device according to Figure 4 in a longitudinal section, partially open.
Fig. 1 and 2 show a branching device with a socket 3, which is suitable for several electrical lines opening through a hole 4 in the can interior 5 to a distributor terminal 6 and from there in several branches via other electrical lines through a Derive hole 7 from inside 5 of the can. The box 3 is embedded in the masonry 8, and the electrical lines guided through the holes 4 and 7 are laid under plaster.
The can 3 is expediently formed seamlessly from a blank 11, as shown in FIG. By pressing the blank, the side walls 9 and 10 are formed in the deep-drawing process. In order to keep the can 3 permanently fixed in the masonry 8, expansion members (not shown) that are attached to the can 3 can be provided.
The can 3 is expediently inserted so far into the masonry 8 that the edge 13 of its opening protrudes slightly back from the wall 14 of the masonry 8, so that a can panel 15 attached to the can 3 can be completely attached to the wall without sitting on the edge 13 Place wall 14 on. The can panel 15 is a rectangular frame and has a plurality of clamping tabs 16 distributed on the inner circumference, which are opposite clamping tabs 17 attached to the can 3. The can panel 15 is connected to the can 3 by means of spacer screws 18 guided in these clamping tabs and held at the same adjustable distance.
On the can panel 15, a can lid 19 is mounted on its narrow edge by means of a hinge 20. One wing 21 of the hinge 20 is attached to the can lid 19 by means of a permanent connection and the other wing 22 of the hinge 20 on a bracket 23 arranged on the can panel 15. When the can faceplate 15 is mounted, the bracket 23 points into the inside of the can 5, and the opening of the can faceplate 15 can be completely closed by the can lid 19. The Do sendeckel 19 is then on projections 24 of the clamping tabs 16 and an angle 26 in the plane of the can panel 15 and is secured by means of a countersunk screw 25 at the angle 26 and thus to the panel 15.
Vertically on the inside of the can lid 19, a mounting plate 27 is attached by a non-releasable connection Ver. This mounting plate is at right angles to the axis of the hinge 20 and is thus in the pivot plane of the can lid 19. The Mon day plate 27 is preferably attached to the can lid 19 by spot welding. On the mounting plate 27, the components used for branching the electrical lines, such as the distributor terminal 6 and a clamping plate 28, are installed. Between these components and the mounting plate 27, a non-conductive pad 29 is inserted.
By means of the clamping plate 28, the entire bundle of electrical lines, which both open into the socket 3 and lead to the distributor terminal 6 and also come out of the distributor terminal 6 from the socket 3, are clamped firmly onto the mounting plate 27 so that when the socket lid 19 is pivoted the necessary change in position of the inside of the box, at the distribution terminal 6 on closed electrical lines can be absorbed by the entire length of the lines, and the lines are not bent at the individual terminals 30 of the distribution terminal 6. The electrical lines are shown schematically in FIG. 1 as dash-dotted lines 1 and 2.
The clamping plate 28 consists of a non-conductor. The mounting plate 27 has a bore 31 which is arranged as close as possible to the axis of rotation of the hinge 20 so that the entire bundle of electrical cables guided through this bore 31 pivots a short distance when the socket cover 19 is pivoted. The small change in position of the bore 31 to the fixed socket 3 when pivoting the socket lid 19 caused a small change in position of the electrical line pieces between the bores 4 and 31 and the bores 7 and 31 which occurred by turning.
The bore 31 'has a smaller diameter in the non-conductive base 29 than in the conductive mounting plate 27, so that no current can flow through the mounting plate 27 in the event of any damage to the electrical lines at this point. The electrical lines 1 and 2 are guided in known protective tubes 50 to the branch device from.
4 and 5 show a branching device which has the same components as the device shown in FIGS. 1 and 2 and in addition an electrical branch via a socket 33 it permits. This additional component requires a greater length of the socket 37 than the socket 3. The socket 33 is fastened directly between the clamping plate 28 and the distributor terminal 6 on a socket cover 34, and the mounting plate 27 is in two parts 27a </ I > and 27b , between which the socket 33 is located. The socket 33 is of any commercially available type and is inserted as a set piece in a bore 35 of the socket cover 34 and fastened by means of countersunk screws 36.
The can 37 is anchored in the masonry 8 by a flat rail 40 fastened to the can bottom 39 by means of rivets.
It is of course also possible to design the mounting plate 27 or the parts 27a and 27b as a non-conductor, so that a non-conductive base 29 is superfluous. Likewise, the components necessary for the branching can also be arranged on both sides of the mounting plate 27 or its parts 27a and 27b.
The cans 3 and 37 and their can covers 15 and can lids 19 and 34 with mounting plate 27 or 27a and 27b can advantageously be made of plastic, with the can lid consists of one piece together with the mounting plate and can be manufactured in a simple manner as a Stangenpro fil with a T-shaped cross section.
The branch devices described according to the invention can be embedded in any relatively small wall surface. It no longer has to be an exposed wall surface that is accessible from all sides. The branch device can floor in corners or very close to the foot, for. B. directly above the cover strip or in a higher cover strip itself. Each wall surface that is at least as large as the can panel 15 can be used to insert the branch device from with effortless installation of the elec trical lines. Due to the position of the can lid in the plane of the cans aperture and the attachment of the hinge leg and the mounting plate by means of a permanent connection, eg.
B. by means of spot welding, and through the use of a countersunk screw to screw the can lid, the junction device described has a pleasing appearance. The branching device can be used both in the ceilings and in the walls with the long side of the can panel horizontally or vertically in the masonry. The components that are attached to the socket lid and necessary for the junction are fully accessible when the socket lid is in the pivoted state, and when connecting the electrical lines, the junction terminal, clamping plate and socket do not need to be held.
