Fig. 2 eine Seitenansicht dieser Fadenbremse, und
Thread brake for self-regulating the thread tension of a thread passed between a stationary and a brake plate that can be moved perpendicular thereto
The previously known self-regulating thread brakes generally have a feeler lever which scans the thread tension and either transmits it to the braking elements in a pneumatic direct control or acting as a pulse generator actuates a control which influences the braking pressure of the braking elements.
In the first-mentioned case, the pneumatic direct transmission, a not insignificant part of the thread tension to be regulated is used at the same time to actuate the regulating organs, so that the regulation is necessarily very imprecise.
The second variant requires a large deflection of the thread path by the sensor so that the control can be built robustly or the control must then be extremely sensitive and built with great precision.
The present invention aims to create a thread brake for self-regulating the thread tension of a thread carried out between a stationary and a brake plate movable perpendicular to it, which eliminates the disadvantages inherent in the previously known designs in that the movable brake plate is also designed as a Fühiorgan for sensing the thread tension binds and is mounted movably in the sensing direction, and that means are provided to automatically regulate the pressure on this organ in the direction of the stationary brake plate when the braking and sensing element is deflected from a normal position due to changed thread tension.
The drawing shows an exemplary embodiment of a thread brake according to the invention. It shows:
Fig. 1 shows a cross section through the thread brake along the line A-A of Fig. 3,
Fig. 2 is a side view of this thread brake, and
3 shows a section through the same thread brake along the line B-B of FIG. 1.
In an angled housing 1, which is open at the upper end, a pressure tube 4 is pivotably mounted in point bearings 2 and 3. At both open ends of the pressure pipe 4, a flexible sleeve 5 and 6 are turned up. The ; Nlanscheue 6 connects one end of the pressure pipe 4 to a connector 7 clamped in the housing 1, while the cuff 5 carries a plate 8 at its end protruding through the housing 1, which tightly closes the cuff opening and is designed as a movable brake plate of the thread brake .
This lower, movable brake plate 8 cooperates with a stationary upper brake plate 9, which is carried by a N-bracket 10, which in turn is firmly connected to the pressure pipe 4 via screws 11, so that the relative position of the two brake plates 8 and 9 changes during pivoting movements of the pressure tube 4 in the bearings 2, 3 not changed. A wire bracket 12 cast in the N-angle piece 10 carries at its free end a thread deflection eyelet 13 for the thread 20 inserted into the thread brake. A flap 15 of the housing 1 also carries the usual inlet funnel 14, which is controlled by a bobbin 19, e.g. B. a cantilever (not shown), withdrawn thread 20 passes before it passes the thread deflection 13 and from there between the brake plates 8, 9 through to a consumer point, not shown, for.
B. a warping machine leads.
In the side wall of the pressure pipe 4 an outlet opening 16 is provided, the outer end of which forms a valve seat which interacts with the end of an externally adjustable regulating screw 17, which is designed as a valve needle and is screwed into the housing 1.
The thread brake shown works as follows:
The connection piece 7 is connected to a compressed air source, not shown. After passing through the cuff 6, the incoming pressure medium hits a diaphragm 18 built into the pressure pipe 4. A portion of this pressure medium acts on the surface of the edge facing against the flow, so that the pressure pipe is pivoted about its bearing in the bearings 2 and 3, wherein the valve seat of the outlet opening 16 is pressed against the valve needle or regulating screw 17 and there. with the outlet opening 16 is closed and held in this closed position.
The part of the pressure medium flowing through the opening of the diaphragm 18 fills the pressure pipe 4 and the cuff 5 and, since there is no possibility of escape, presses the lower movable brake plate 8 against the upper stationary brake plate 9 with the pressure existing in the system.
A thread 20 pulled by the bobbin 19 through the funnel 14, the thread deflection eyelet 13 and between the two brake plates 8, 9 in the direction of the arrow 21 in FIG. 1 is thus corresponding to the pressure with which the brake plate 8 is pressed against the brake plate 9 , braked. If the thread tension increases for any reason, the thread pulls the two brake pads 8, 9 with it, that is, the pressure tube 4 is pivoted to the left about the bearings 2, 3 in FIG.
However, this in turn releases the outlet opening 16, since the regulating screw 17 fixed in the housing 1 does not participate in the pivoting movement and the pressure medium in the pressure tube and in the cuffs can escape through the outlet opening 16 that has become free. As a result, the pressure in the pressure tube 4 drops, the contact pressure of the lower movable brake plate 8 on the thread 20 becomes smaller and, consequently, the thread tension as well. However, this has the effect that the pressure medium flowing in through the diaphragm 18 pivots the pressure tube 4 against the direction 21 of the thread pull until the stop of the valve seat of the outlet opening 16 against the end of the regulating screw.
Since the opening through which the pressure medium could escape is now closed again, the operating pressure builds up again in the pressure pipe 4 and the force with which the lower brake plate 8 is pressed against the stationary upper brake plate increases again. This process is repeated until a balance between the thread train and the set pressure of the print medium has been established. In this equilibrium state, a small proportion of the flow medium will always escape through the somewhat opened outlet opening 16. The desired thread tension to be generated by the thread brake can therefore be regulated directly by setting the pressure of the pressure medium introduced through the connector 7.
So it is also possible to brake the thread tension of the z. B. to centrally vcrslel- len threads withdrawn from a Sehärgatter.
The most striking advantage of the 1 described:; 1- denbremse is its simple construction, as a result of which the sensing and braking elements, that is to say the positioning and actuating elements, are combined in one element, which ensures smooth operation by eliminating transmission errors.
