Regelbares Doppelspur-Bremsmagnetsystem
Adjustable double-track brake magnet system
The invention relates to a controllable double-track brake magnet system that can be used for electricity meters, scales and other parts to be braked in their movement, namely lein brake magnet system with a permanent magnet, the two poles of which face a vortex shape to be braked, on the other side fixed existing soft iron yoke is arranged, so that the regulation of the braking force while maintaining a constant air gap length can be effected by rotating the magnet around its axis of symmetry.
The known design of such a brake magnet requires a relatively large installation space; The inventor has set himself the task of specifying a magnet system with considerably smaller dimensions in order to enable the most versatile possible use of such brake magnets.
According to the invention, the particularly space-saving design of such a magnet system consists in arranging a permanent magnet in the interior of a bow-shaped holder in such a way that its back rests against its inner wall. The permanent magnet can be U-shaped or in several parts.
Embodiments of the invention are shown in the accompanying drawings.
In Figs. 1 and 2, 1 denotes a U-shaped permanent magnet with poles N and S; 2 a bow-shaped holder made of non-magnetic material, e.g. B. light metal or zinc; 3 a fixed soft iron return plate.
The permanent magnet generates the magnetic flux shown in broken lines, which passes through the air gap twice. In the air gap, an electrically conductive disk 4 to be braked rotates, on which different braking torques are exerted depending on the position of the poles of the permanent magnet rotatable about its central axis.
Another example of the invention is shown in FIGS. In these, the retaining bracket 5 itself is made of soft iron, so that the magnetic flux can pass from the poles of the magnet system to it. The magnet system consists of two identical cylinder segments 6 and 7, which are combined in a non-magnetic holder 8, e.g. B. by metal extrusion. In the back of the magnet system, the segments have magnetic contact with the soft iron bracket so that the magnetic flux can run through it unhindered; they are displaceable on it, namely rotatable about the central axis, arranged to enable the braking torque to be controlled.
A particularly advantageous embodiment of the invention is shown in FIGS. 5 and 6. They show: 9 a U-shaped holder made of soft iron; 10 a likewise U-shaped permanent magnet with the poles N and S, which is arranged in a non-magnetic holder 11 and rotatable about its central axis; Its magnetic flow passes through the air gap and the brake disc 12 at two points; in the back it runs partially through the iron of the bracket 9, so that a particularly low overall height is achieved. The permanent magnet is shown again in FIGS. 7 and 8 for the sake of clarity. It is cylindrical and its U-shape is given by a deep transverse groove. It has a central hole for rotating attachment.
In Fig. 5 and 6, a useful type of rotatable attachment of the permanent magnet in the yoke is shown. The screw 13 centers and holds it by means of the spring 14 on the inner wall of the yoke. The worm 15, mounted in the worm holder 16 fastened with a screw on the yoke, engages in a corresponding toothing of the magnet mount 11 so that it and thus the magnet itself can be rotated very sensitively. The screw has a screw extractor slot 17 for actuation.
The known iron-nickel aluminum-cobalt magnet alloys and ceramic compositions of the type Ba O 6 to 6 per 2 O 3 are particularly suitable as materials for the brake magnet systems according to the invention. The latter allow a particularly low design, but require a larger compensation of the temperature coefficient of the magnetization. This is expediently arranged in the form of a sheet or wire made of an alloy with a negative magnetic temperature coefficient as a shunt in the slot of the U-shaped permanent magnet.
