Roasting oven The present invention relates to a roasting oven with a set of skewers which extend between two failures and are removably and rotatably mounted on these, which discs are mounted on a motor-driven spindle mounted in the end walls of the housing containing the heating elements are, with one end of the skewers extending through a disc and at this end a scratch @ l that meshes with a stationary gear.
The roasting oven according to the invention is characterized in that, in addition to the pinion, the skewer has a lateral surface which has parts of different diam sers, which are connected by a conical part, such that the part with the smaller diameter through the narrow part of a series of am The circumference of the disc openings can be inserted, the stationary gear having means to axially adjust the skewers when the spindle rotates so that the other part with a larger diameter enters the opening, whereby the skewers are secured against radial displacement.
In the accompanying drawing, an exemplary embodiment of the subject matter of the invention is shown. 1 shows a diagrammatic view of the rear part of the furnace, FIG. 2 shows, on a larger scale, part of the rear wall with a broken housing, FIG. 3 shows an elevation of the various spits and other parts, partly in section, FIG on a larger scale in partial section the ends of the skewers and other parts,
5 shows a section along the line VV in FIG. 4 and FIG. 6 shows a section along the line VI-VI in FIG. 4. The kitchen oven shown has a metallic housing 1 with a hinged door 2 pivoted towards the rear at 3 . The flap door 2 carries a: handle 4, which is connected to a pivoting hook 5 in We kungsverbindungen to hold the flap door 2 if necessary in a partially open position. In the housing 1 a rotatable set of skewers is provided.
The skewers are detachably attached to disks 6, 7 which are mounted on a spindle 8. This spindle 8 is mounted in the end walls of the housing and driven by an electric motor 9 via a reduction gear 10. The reduction gear 10 and the Mo tor 9 are arranged outside the housing 1. Between tween the discs 6, 7 are seven skewers 11 installed on it (Fig. 3): the one end aufwei sen a tip so that the food to be cooked or roasted, eg. B. poultry, can be skewered over this end.
The other end carries a pinion 12 which, as a planetary gear, meshes with a stationary sun gear 13, which is attached to the wall of the housing 1. When the spindle 8 is rotated, the spits 11 also rotate about their own axis.
The sun gear 13 has a circumference that has a variable axial width. It becomes wider at 14 and narrower at 15. There remains a broader part 16 in between. Except for this part 16, the sun wheel 13 is provided with a top wall 17.
Each skewer 11 carries a sleeve 18, the surface of which has two cylindrical parts 19, 20 and a conical part 21 and which has a cylindrical part 22 forming a flange (FIG. 4). About the end part 19: a second sleeve 23 is set, which has an annular open groove 24.
Each skewer 11 can be guided through the hinged door 2, hooks are expediently used which engage under the skewer at its pointed end and at the groove 24. The tip of the skewer 11 is inserted into the corresponding bore of the disc 6 and then the part 19 of the sleeve 18 radially 'through the narrower part of an opening 25 of the disc 7. The pinion 12 now comes into contact with the part 16 and meshes with it same (Fig. 5).
When the spindle 8 rotates clockwise, as indicated at 26 (Fig. 2), the pinion 12 comes into contact with the wall 17 at part 15 of the sun gear and is adjusted to the left. When it is no longer in contact with the part 15, the part 20 of the one is telfläche of the sleeve 18 in the part 27 of the opening 25 is held. The spit is thus secured by the part 20 against radial and by the wall 17 against axial adjustment.
As soon as the part 19 has been inserted into one of the openings 25, no further manipulations on the part of the operator are necessary to bring the skewer into its final position of use.
To take out a skewer, it is enough if he is at the part; 16 is to bring the part 19 by an axial adjustment in the other part of the opening 25: whereupon he can be radially removed to who can.
