Apparatus for the production of flat bags The invention relates to an apparatus for the production of flat bags.
Known devices of this type work in such a way that the bag material is drawn in the form of a web around a so-called folding shoe, so that a V- or W-shaped cross section of the web is created. The web thus formed is divided into individual pockets by means of transverse sealing seams, which then form the bags.
This type of production is particularly suitable for highly elastic bag materials. However, the previous devices are not very suitable for the manufacture of bags made of stronger types of paper, waxed or coated papers, metal foils or metal composite foils. As a result of the inevitable sharp fold-over edge that forms on the folding shoe and the deformation of the web in the fold line due to the tensile forces of the web front, cracks and pores occur along the folding edge in such bag materials, so that these must also be welded if completely tight bags are to be achieved should.
The aim of the invention is to avoid these disadvantages and to create a high-performance device in which the bag material to be processed is treated with the greatest possible care.
For this purpose, the device according to the invention is characterized by a folding wheel which gradually rotates between two stationary guide plates and is provided with at least one folding segment, and a conveyor device directly adjoining the guide plates, these parts being arranged so that they are fed to the device Bag blanks grasped by the folding segment in their middle, pulled through between the guide plates and the blanks folded in this way are taken over by the conveyor device with the later filling opening pointing upwards.
If the flat bags are to be produced with a folded base, folding metal sheets can be arranged on both sides of each folding segment, which are movable in the direction of rotation relative to the folding segment and controlled in such a way that they create an M in cooperation with a counter-holder resting against the folding edge of the folding segment -shaped folding of the bag blank.
The object of the invention is explained on the drawing calculations in two embodiments.
1 a and b show the device in side view, FIG. 2 the folding device for itself in a diagrammatic view, FIG. 3 the folding bike in cross section, FIG. 4 a further embodiment of the folding wheel in side view, FIG. 5 the folding bike according to Figure 4 in cross section,
6 schematically shows part of the device when forming a bag with a V-shaped bottom; and FIG. 7 shows schematically part of the device when forming a bag with an M-shaped bottom. The bag material is fed to the device in the form of a web 1, which is guided by means of a pair of feed rollers 2, 3 over a downstream dancer roller 4 and a deflection roller 5 to a step-by-step driven pair of feed rollers 6, 7.
The pair of rollers 6, 7 is driven in such a way that, in each working step of the device, a length of the web 1 corresponding to the blank used to produce a bag is pulled forward. This is fed from on the other side of the folding device in pairs on ordered conveyor belts 8 and 9 directly to a folding wheel 11 consisting of one or more, for example four, folding segments 12 and cut off by means of a cutting device 10.
The conveyor belts 8 and 9 feed the blank la to the folding wheel 11 in such a way that the later folding line of the blank comes to rest on the folding edge of one of the folding segments 12. To ensure that the sections la remain in this position and cannot change their position during the subsequent rotary movement of the folding wheel 11, the folding edge of each folding segment 12 is assigned a counter holder 15. This is pivotably mounted on the folding bike 11 and is controlled by a cam 17 via an arm 16. By spring tension, the Ge counterholders 15 usually rest on the folding edges of the corresponding folding segments 12. You are only for feeding blanks la and for pulling the folded blanks from briefly lifted by a small rotary movement of the cam 17 from the folded edges.
Before the folding bike 11 is rotated further to fold a to cut la by 90 each, who lifted the upper conveyor belts 8 from the blank between them and the lower conveyor belts 9 by means of a not shown, for example cam-controlled device of a known type and give so that the blank la free, so that it is carried along with the further rotation of the folding wheel by the folding segment 12 and so folded in a V-shape by means of guide plates 18 fixedly arranged on both sides of the folding wheel 11 in the execution form according to Fig. 1 and lb to 3 and 6 can be.
The blank la has assumed the V-shaped cross-section after a rotation of the folding wheel 11 by 90 and is at the conveyor break, during which a new blank la is fed to the folding wheel 11, at the edges of its now overhead broad side of the horizontal plane above half of the folding wheel 11 arranged heat-sealed jaws 30 of known type are heat-sealed.
After a further switching step of the folding wheel 11, the folded blank la with its longitudinal seam sealed in this way arrives in the area of two vertically arranged pairs of rollers 20 and 21. These are set up and controlled in such a way that the opposing rollers open when a folding segment 12 enters and then close under spring pressure like the one and pull the folded and sealed blank la from the folding segment. The further promotion of the blank la are now taken over by two conveyor belts 22 which run around the upper pair of rollers 21 and another pair of rollers, not shown.
The conveyor belts 22 bring the folded blank la to two white direct Heisssiegelbacken 31, which produce the second longitudinal seam and thus give the blank the shape of a bag. The two longitudinal seams can also be produced at the same time. In this case, the pair of hot-sealing jaws 30 is not arranged above the folding wheel 11, but rather parallel to the pair of jaws 31 at a distance of the width of the bag. The bags produced in this way can now ent neither placed on a stack or immediately conveyed to a filling and closing device.
In order to be able to produce flat bags with a retracted bottom fold, so-called bottom fold bags, by means of the device, in the embodiment according to FIGS. 4, 5 and 7, each folding segment 12 folding plates 23 are provided on both sides, concentric to the center of the folding wheel 11 in a circle Arcuate slots 24 are slidably arranged. The displacement movement is brought about by a fixed cam 25 through the rotary movement of the folding bike 11. On this curve 25, arms 26 run which are rotatably mounted in the hub of the folding bike 11 and are connected to toothed segments 27 which mesh with toothed segments 28 attached to the folding plates 23.
Instead of this control of the folding plates 23, a parallelogram control or the like can optionally also be provided, which effects a parallel displacement of the folding plates 23 with respect to the folding edge of the segment 12.
The M-shaped folding of a bag bottom he follows in such a way that, at the beginning of the rotation of the folding wheel 11, the folding plates 23 arranged on both sides of a folding segment 12 are displaced by the curve 25 in the direction of the rotation movement over the folding edge of the corresponding segment will. As a result, according to FIG. 7, the blank 1 a is initially folded in a V-shape to the front around the counter holder 15 and then in the further course of the rotation on the stationary guide plates 18 back around the folding plates 23.
The guide plates 18 are expediently designed in such a way that, starting from the horizontal plane, they merge in curvatures that have the shape of truncated cone segments into a shaft with parallel walls, with the imaginary tips of the truncated cone segments in the axis of rotation of the folding bike 11 are.
In order to be able to adapt the folding device to the degree of rigidity and the strength of the various bag materials, the guide plates 18 are set up adjustable in their mutual spacing towards the folding wheel 11.
For the production of different bag sizes, the entire folding device is arranged vertically adjustable with respect to the conveyor device with the pairs of take-off rollers 20, 21.
