Process for the preparation of N "-monosubstituted primary or secondary aliphatic diamines with 2-halotriazine radicals. It is known that the preparation of the monoacyl derivatives of alkylenediamines or the corresponding cyanuric acid derivatives in an aqueous medium with acylating agents, e.g.
B. acid halides, or with halides of cyanuric acid, on difficulties, since these agents do not react uniformly with only one amino group.
The surprising finding has now been made that one can prepare N, -monosubstituted alkyls, ndiamines from an aqueous medium with water-soluble 2-halotriazine radicals in a simple manner and with good yields if alkylenediamines with water-soluble 2, 4-dihalo-1,3,5-triazines implemented.
The present invention therefore provides a process for the preparation of primary or secondary aliphatic diamines monosubstituted with 2-halotriazine radicals Ni, which is characterized in that corresponding diaamines with water-soluble 2,4, dihalo-1,3,5-triazines or converts their salts in an aqueous medium.
Particularly suitable diamines in the present process are the low molecular weight alkylenediamines which are not further substituted and which have two primary amino groups and a straight alkylene chain.
Ethylenediamine, propylenediamine and hexamethylenediamine, for example, are to be mentioned as such. Alkylenediamines with secondary amino groups, such as N, N'-dimethyl-diaminoethane, as well as aliphatic diamines, the alkyl chain of which is interrupted by He, teroatoms, such as oxygen or sulfur, can also be used successfully.
As water-soluble 2,4-dihalo-1,3,5-triazines or their salts, for. B. the alkali salts of 6-oxy-2,4-dichloro-1,3,5-triazine and especially the water-soluble 6-amino-2,4-dihalogenr1,3,5 triazines to he mention, for example from cyanuric bromide or cyanuric chloride and the following amines:
Aminoethanesulfonic acid, N-methyl-aminoethanesulfonic acid, ss-Qxy-: ethylamine-sulfuric acid monoester (HO3S-O-CH2CHe NH2), aminobenzene mono- and disulfonic acids, aminonaphthalene disulfonic acids, aminobenzoic acid, sulfonic acid, 2,4- or 2,5-diamino-benzene l-sulfonic acid and also aminomonoazo dye sulfonic acids, such as those of the formula RN = NA,
where R is the remainder of a benzene or naphthalene sulfonic acid and A is the remainder of an aminoaryl-5-pyrazolone bonded to the azo group via the 4-position or the remainder of an aminonaphtholsulfonic acid with a primary or secondary amino group,
or those of the formula
EMI0001.0108
in which R1 denotes the remainder of a coupling component containing sulfonic acid groups and / or carboxyl groups.
The inventive reaction of the diamines given at the beginning with the dihalotriazines, in particular with those of the formula
EMI0002.0001
in which X denotes the remainder of an amine which is bonded via its amino group and has water-solubilizing groups, is carried out in an aqueous medium, preferably at 25 to 45 and at pH 6.5 to 7.5.
If salts of the starting diamines are used, one must operate in the presence of acid-binding agents, while when using the free diamines, the reaction proceeds smoothly even in the absence of acid-binding agents. Presumably binds the second amino group of the alkylenediamine, which in the condensation of the first with the compounds of the formula (1)
Hydrogen halide acid released and can therefore no longer react itself. This is probably also the reason why an excess of compounds of the formula (1) does not have a disadvantageous effect, except for economic reasons, which means that even when using larger amounts of compounds of the formula (1)
than is theoretically necessary to replace a halogen atom by reaction with one of the two amino groups present in the diamine, the condensation practically only alkylenediamine derivatives with a single monohalotriazine group, such as the compounds of the formula Ver
EMI0002.0035
results in which X is the remainder of a bonded via its amino group,
Amine containing water-solubilizing groups and Y denotes the remainder of an alkylenediamine bonded to the carbon atom of the triazine nucleus via one of its two amino groups.
These monohalotriazines of formula (2) can easily be isolated from the mixture formed, e.g. B. by filtration, if necessary after previous salting out, for example with alkali chlorides.
The diamine derivatives obtained according to the invention are new. They are valuable intermediate products that, thanks to the content of a reactive (exchangeable) halogen atom and an acyllerbaren amino group in organic chemistry, z. B. in dye production, use by z.
B. an acid halide group of a dye molecule is condensed with the free amino group of a compound obtained according to the present invention; so can z. B. Phthalocyaninesulfochloride with compounds obtained according to the present invention kon are condensed, and = one obtains z. B. dyes that have already been obtained by another method in Swiss patent No. 347925. You can also z.
B. be reacted with the oxy groups of cellulose, whereby an influence on the dyeing properties of cellulose-containing substances is possible.
In the following examples, unless otherwise indicated, parts are parts by weight, percentages are percentages by weight, and temperatures are given in degrees Celsius. Between parts by weight and parts by volume: n has the same relationship as between g and cms. In these examples, in addition to embodiments of the method according to the invention, methods for producing the corresponding starting materials are also described.
Example 1 12.7 parts of 1-amino-benzene-2,5-disulfonic acid are dissolved in 100 parts of water with the addition of enough 2N sodium hydroxide solution that a neutral solution is formed which is cooled to zero . To the kühl th solution, a solution of 9.25 parts of cyanuric chloride in 40 parts by volume of acetone is poured with stirring and the temperature is kept between 0 to 5 th by the simultaneous addition of crushed ice.
The hydrochloric acid released during the condensation is neutralized by adding dropwise normal sodium hydroxide solution so that the pH is 6.5 to 7. After the condensation has ended, the mixture is heated and a solution of 3 parts of ethylenediamine in 50 parts of water is added dropwise between 25 to 35 parts with stirring so that the pH is 7 to 7.3.
When the addition is complete, 15 to 20 J1) sodium chloride are added and the mixture is cooled to 10. The monosodium salt of the acid of the formula falls here
EMI0002.0112
in fine, colorless needles. The crystal slurry is stirred for 1 to 10 hours, filtered off and the filter cake is washed with 25 parts of a cold 2011 / own sodium chloride solution.
This gives about 50 parts of moist paste, which is most advantageously used immediately for further implementation. Similar compounds are obtained when using: corresponding amounts of 1,3-diamino-propane or 1,6-diamino-hexane instead of ethylene diamine, or when 1-aminobenzene-2,5-disulfonic acid is replaced by corresponding amounts to 1-amino-be:
nzol-2- # sulfonic acid, 1-amino-benzene-3-sulfonic acid, 1-amino @ benzene-4-sulfonic acid, 1-amino-2-carboxy-benzal-4-, sulfonic acid, 2-amino-naphthalene-4, 8-disulfonic acid, 1,3-diamino-benzene 4-su) lfonic acid. Example 2 48.3 parts of that obtained by diazotizing 1-aminobenzene-2,5 = disulfonic acid and coupling onto 1- (3'-aminophenyl) -5-pyrazolone-3-carboxylic acid Dye are dissolved in 500 parts of water, neutralized,
the solution is cooled to 0 and, with stirring, 18.5 parts of cyanuric chloride dissolved in 100 parts by volume of acetone are added. The hydrochloric acid released during the condensation is neutralized at 0 to 5 with normal sodium hydroxide solution so that the pH is 6 to 7. When the condensation has ended, the reaction solution is filtered and heated.
At 35 to 40, a solution of 6 parts of ethylenediamine in 100 parts of water is added dropwise with stirring so that the pH is 7 to 7.4. 2011 / a sodium chloride is added, the mixture is stirred until it is cold, then it is filtered and the isolated product is washed with 100 parts of cold 20% sodium chloride solution.
Example 3 14.1 parts of mono- (aminoethyl) sulfate (13 aminoethylsulfuric acid half-ester) are dissolved in 200 parts of water in such a way that a neutral solution is formed, and the mixture is cooled to zero. For this purpose, with the addition of crushed ice and thorough stirring, a solution of 18.5 parts of cyanuric chloride in 100 parts by volume of acetone is poured.
The temperature is kept below 5 by cooling and the pH is kept between 6 and 7 during the condensation by adding dropwise normal sodium hydroxide solution. The solution is then filtered and heated to 40.
Between 35 and 40, a solution of 6 parts of ethylenediamine and 100 parts of water is added dropwise with stirring so that the pH is 7 to 7.3. After the condensation has ended, 20% sodium chloride is added and the mixture is cooled to 5. The product of the formula falls

colorless.
The mixture is stirred for a further hour, filtered and the isolated product is washed with cold 20% sodium chloride solution.
