Fig. 1 zeigt einen Teil des elektrischen Schalt- schemas der Kegelbahn-Einrichtung ;
Fig. 2 stellt in perspektivischer Ansicht den opti schen Signalgeber dar, der beispielsweise das Ergeb- nis von sieben Kegelschüben anzeigt, bei denen je- weils die Anzahl der gefallenen Kegel zählt; Fig. 3 ist ein schematischer Querschnitt durch den Signalgeber, in gegenüber Fig. 2 vergrössertem Masstab ;
Mit 25 ist in Fig. 1 ein Kommandopult bezeich net, das fünf von Hand zu betätigende Schalter 26 bis 30 aufweist. Der Schalter 26 dient zum Ein- und Ausschalten des noch zu beschreibenden optischen Signalgebers 31. Der Schalter 27 dient zum Wählen der Spielart ;
90, die mittels des Schritt- schalters 71 zu einer Widerstandskombination zusam- mengeschaltet werden können; neun Messwider- stände 91 ... 99, von denen jeder mit einem der Kontakte 11 ... 19 verbunden. ist;
ein Brückenrelais X mit zwei Arbeitskontakten x1 und x2, welches Brückenrelais X zusammen mit den erwähnten Wi derständen 81 ... 99 eine elektrische Vergleichsschal tung bildet; ein Relais V mit zwei Arbeitskontakten vl und v2 ; einen Verzögerungskondensator 72 zum Relais V ; ein Relais R mit Arbeitskontakten r1, r2 und r3 ;
einen Verzögerungskondensator 73 und einen Vorschaltwiderstand 74 zum Relais R ; ein Relais U mit einem Arbeitskontakt u ; ein Relais UU mit einem Arbeitswiderstand uu ;
Der Verteiler weist die folgenden Bestand- teile auf : Zwei miteinander mechanisch gekoppelte Schrittschalter 101 und 102 mit einem Drehmagne ten D, dem ein Arbeitskontakt d zugeordnet ist;
einen Kontakt 103, der nur in der Nullstellung der Schrittschalter 101 und 102 geöffnet ist ; ein Relais E mit einem Umschaltkontakt el und einem Ar beitskontakt e2, einen Kondensator 104, der als Spannungsquelle zum Speisen des Relais E dient;
Nullstellung, befindet.
Automatic bowling alley device The main patent relates to an automatic bowling alley device in which the individual cones are attached to flexible pulling elements, with the aid of which the cones can be lifted after falling over and then placed upright on the floor.
The invention according to the main patent consists in the fact that the pulling element of each cone is assigned an electrical switch and means are provided to actuate the switch at least temporarily when the cone in question falls over, for the purpose of exciting an associated relay with a self-holding circuit,
which relay stores the result of the relevant cone thrust and is in electrical control connection with at least one optical signal transmitter for the purpose of displaying the result.
The present additional invention relates to a further embodiment of the automatic bowling alley device according to the main patent and consists in the fact that the optical signal transmitter has a number of digit display devices which can be actuated by current pulses and which can be successively connected to a pulse transmitter by means of a distributor,
which in turn reacts according to the number of cones that have fallen in one operating mode, and that means are assigned to the distributor, which automatically cause another of the number display devices to be connected to the pulse generator after each cone thrust.
In the accompanying drawing a preferred embodiment of the subject matter of the invention is illustrated.
1 shows part of the electrical circuit diagram of the bowling alley facility;
FIG. 2 shows a perspective view of the optical signal transmitter which, for example, displays the result of seven cone thrusts, in each of which the number of cones that have fallen counts. FIG. 3 is a schematic cross section by the signal transmitter, on an enlarged scale compared to FIG. 2;
FIG. 4 shows, in a representation analogous to FIG. 2, the signal generator, which now displays the game result in the so-called international clearing, in which the number of thrusts is counted that are necessary to bring down all the pins.
The mechanical means for setting up the Ke gel are not shown here; they can, for example, be designed in the same way as described and shown in the main patent.
Let it just be repeated here that each cone is attached to one end of a flexible pulling element, with the help of which the cone in question, whether fallen over or not, can be lifted and then placed upright on the floor.
The pulling element of each cone is assigned an electrical switch, the design of which is also illustrated and described in the main patent, for example.
This switch is actuated at least temporarily when the cone in question falls, whereby an associated relay with a self-holding circuit is energized for the purpose of storing the result of the cone in question.
Appropriately there are means that can be operated by the aforementioned switches or relays, which automatically cause the cones to be set up after each cone thrust. All of the above-mentioned elec trical means are placed in an electrical box 20 under, which is indicated in FIG.
From the inside of the electrical box 20, nine contacts 11 ... 19 are shown in Figure 1, which each listen to one of the mentioned relays with Sedbsthaltestromkreis ge and are therefore closed when the associated cone falls over.
Furthermore, the electrical box 20 contains a contact 21 which is automatically closed for about 2 seconds after each keystroke. Another contact 22 in the electric cold 20 is then temporarily closed when all nine cones have fallen over.
With 25 in Fig. 1, a control panel is designated net, which has five manually operated switches 26-30. The switch 26 is used to switch the optical signal generator 31 to be described on and off. The switch 27 is used to select the type of game;
in one position of this switch 27, the device shows the number of cones which fall over in each cone thrust; in the other position of the switch 27, however, the device for the so-called international clearing is set up.
The switches 28 to 30 are pressure switches that only make contact as long as they are operated.
According to FIGS. 2 to 4, the already mentioned optical signal generator 31 has a housing 32 which is closed off at the front by a translucent ground glass 33. Behind the ground glass 33 there is a control lamp 34 and a number, for example ten digit display devices 41 ...
50 (Fig. 1 and 3), all of which are identical to one another. Each of the display devices 41... 50 has a rotatably mounted disk 51 with translucent digits 0 to 9.
In a known manner, the disc 51 can be driven by an indexing mechanism 52 by means of electrical current pulses, the indexing mechanism containing an electromagnet A (bottom of FIG. 1) whose armature acts on the axis of the disk 51 via a pawl and a toothed ratchet wheel. Two contacts 53 and 54,
which are closed in their idle state are only opened by a cam of the disc 51 or its axis when the display device is in its zero position,
as Fig. 1 illustrates. An illumination lamp 61 ... is provided for each display device 41 to 50.
70 assigned, which forms a practically point-like light source and serves to project one of the digits of the associated disk 51 enlarged onto the ground glass 33, as illustrated in FIGS. 2 and 4, for example.

A vibration switch 113 RTI ID = "0002.0225" WI = "14" HE = "4" LX = "1193" LY = "2131"> is preferably attached to the rebound mat at the rear end of the bowling alley is simply drawn in the signal generator 31 in FIG. An exemplary embodiment for the vibration switch 113 is described in the main patent.
The electrical connections between the components of the bowling alley he mentioned are shown in FIG. 1 and the following description of the operation.
By closing the switch 26 on the command double 25, the operational readiness of the device is brought about. Then the relay P is namely energized, whereby the contacts p1 and p2 are closed. The latter causes the control lamp 34 to be switched on.
If a cone thrust occurs, the contacts 11 ... 19 assigned to the fallen cones are automatically closed. Afterwards the contact 21 is closed for about 2 seconds, whereby the relay V is excited via the already closed contact p1.
By closing the contact v2, the relay E is connected to the previously charged capacitor 104, the relay E being energized. The contact e2 now closes the circuit through the rotary magnet D of the distributor, so that the step switches 101 and 102 are switched one step forward. The switch 101 connects the digit display device 41, whereas the switch 102 switches on the illumination lamp 61 of this display device 41.
After the capacitor 104 has discharged, the relay E is de-energized, the contact e2 interrupting the flow of current through the rotary magnet D.
Simultaneously with the energization of the relay V, the circuit through the relay R is closed by its contact vl, since it is assumed that the scarf ter 27 is in the illustrated, closed position. The relay R is energized due to resistor 74 and Kon capacitor 73 with a delay of about 0.2 seconds.
The contact r3 now connects one winding of the comparison relay X to the measuring resistors 91 ... 99. Due to the measuring resistors assigned to the fallen cones, which are now all connected in parallel, one winding of the relay X is connected to the voltage source and the relay X is excited.
Contact vl is bridged by contact x2 and contact r1, which was already closed, so that relay R remains energized if contact 21 denies after about 2 seconds. Circuit to relay V is interrupted and contact vl is opened as a result.
When the bridge relay X is excited, the circuit through the relay UU is closed by means of the contact x1, which is excited with a delay due to the resistor 76 and the capacitor 75.
Via the contact uu, the relay U is also excited, whose contact u closes the circuit of the rotary magnet B of the pulse generator. When the rotary magnet B is excited, the step switch 71 is rotated forward by one step, so that a current flows through the second winding of the relay X via the balancing resistor 81. Are z.
B. five cones have been knocked over, so five equal measuring resistors are connected in parallel to each other in one arm of the circuit. The current through the second winding of relay X is therefore five times less than that through the first winding of relay X. The latter thus remains energized.
The excitation of the magnet B also opens the contact b, thereby interrupting the circuit to the relay UU. Its contact uu interrupts the circuit of the relay U, so that the contact u is opened and the magnet B is de-energized.
In doing so, however, contact b closes again, so that relay UU is again excited, with the processes described with regard to relays UU and U and the rotary magnetB being repeated. The switch 71 consequently makes several switching steps one after the other,
each time a further balancing resistor 82, 83, 84 and 85 is connected in parallel to the first resistor 81.
After five switching steps, the resistors 81 to 85 form a resistance combination whose resistance value more than matches that of the resistance combination from the measuring resistors which are assigned to the overturned cones. An equally strong current now flows through both windings of the comparison relay X.
The excitation of the relay X is therefore compensated, so that the armature of the same drops. The contact x1 is opened and the step switch 71 is thereby stopped.
Each time the rotary magnet B was excited, a current pulse also flowed through the rotary magnet A of the display device 41: positive pole, contact u, valve 79, contact 2, step switch 101, rotary magnet A, negative pole.
The disk 51 of the display device 41 has accordingly rotated by the same number of divisions as the switch 71, so that now the number 5 of the display device is projected onto the focusing screen 33, for the purpose of displaying the number of overturned cones.
When the relay X is de-energized, its contact x2 is opened, which interrupts the circuit to the relay R. Contact r2 separates the pulse generator from the distributor. Furthermore, the contact r3 interrupts the current flow through the first winding of the relay X, so that it is re-energized by means of its second winding.
Contact x1 closes the circuit to relay UU, which switches on relay U via contact uu. The contact u closes the circuit of the rotary magnet B, which switches the switch 71 one step further. The contact b interrupts the flow of current through the relay UU,
whereby this and then also the relay U are de-energized. Contact U interrupts the circuit of magnet B, so that it is de-excited,
but its contact b closes the current krems of the relay UU again. The processes are repeated periodically as long as the relay X remains energized, with the step switch being turned forward by one step in each switching period.
The excitation of the relay X lasts as long as at least one resistor 81 ... 90 is connected through the switch 71. If, however, the switch 71 has switched off the last resistor 90, the current flow through the second winding of the relay X is interrupted, after which the stepping mechanism of the switch 71 is stopped by means of the contact x1,
which is now back in RTI ID = "0003.0217" WI = "9" HE = "4" LX = "1563" LY = "2396"> its starting position, i.e. H. Zero position. Since the contact r2 was opened, the current pulses were not transmitted to the display device 41 when the pulse generator moved into the zero position.
After the second ball thrust, the described processes are repeated, with the only difference that the switches 101 and 102 of the distributor are now switched from the first to the second stage by means of the contact e2 of the rotary magnet D, so that the display device 41 is disconnected and for this, the next display device 42 is connected to the pulse generator.
In addition, the lamp 62 of the second display device 42 is now switched on in addition to the illumination lamp 61 of the first display device 41. If the switch 71 of the pulse generator now executes a number of switching steps corresponding to the number of fallen cones, the disk 51 of the second display device 42 is rotated accordingly at the same time,
for the purpose of displaying the number of pins that have fallen in the second push.
In a completely analogous manner, each time the cone thrusts are followed, another of the digit display devices 43 ... 50 is connected to the pulse generator, so that the results of. up to ten consecutive cone thrusts on the ground glass 33 of the signal generator 31 in the form of a numeric display becomes visible.
The number of projected digits also indicates the number of cone thrusts that have taken place (Fis. 2).
If not a single cone falls over when throwing a cone, contact 21 is not closed. In this case, the shock switch 113 causes the magnet E to be excited, the contact e2 of which closes the circuit to the rotary magnet D. The switches 101 and 102 are thus switched one step further, the lamp of the next digit display device being switched on.
Since none of the contacts 11... 19 is closed, the relay X is not energized and the step switch 71 is not turned. The number display device in question therefore projects the number 0 onto the ground glass 33.
If a player has completed a number of cone thrusts, the display of the previous games can be deleted as follows. On the control panel 25, the pressure switch 30 is briefly actuated, whereby the relay F is excited. Contact f 1 closes a self-holding circuit for the relay.
F via the contacts 54 of those display devices that are not in the zero position. You can therefore immediately release the pressure switch 30. The contact f 3 immediately interrupts the supply of the lamps 34 and 61 ... 70. By means of the contacts f 2 and f 4 , all display devices 41 ... 50 are connected to the Contact d of the distributor connected.
When Be actuate the pressure switch 30, the relay G is energized, but with a delay due to the resistor 112 and the capacitor 111. The contact g closes the circuit to the relay Y, whose contact y closes the circuit to the relay W, which is due to the resistance 101 and the capacitor 109 is excited with a delay.
The contact w2 closes the circuit of the relay Z, and the contact y is opened, after which the relay W is de-energized with a delay. The contact w1 then closes the circuit of the relay Y again, the contact y of which again interrupts the circuit of the relay W. The two relays W and Y are thus alternately energized and de-energized, and the relay Z is also energized each time the relay Y is de-energized and vice versa.
The relay Z is therefore periodically energized and de-energized, its contact z periodically closed and ge opens.
Each time the contact z is closed, the rotary magnet D of the step switches 101 and 102 is excited, provided that they do not assume their initial or zero position. Then namely the con tact 103 is closed and the following circuit is created: positive pole, contact z. Contact f2, contact 103, rotary magnet D, negative pole. The switches 101 and 102 are thus moved step by step until the zero position is reached, in which the contact 103 opens automatically and the circuit to the magnet D is interrupted. The switches 101 and 102 then remain in the zero position.
Each time the contact z is closed, the rotary magnet A of the display devices 41 ... 50 which are not in the zero position is also excited: positive pole, contact z, contact f4, contact 53, rotary magnet A, negative pole. The disks 51 who thus rotated gradually until the zero position is reached.
Then the contacts 53 and 54 are opened automatically, the contact 53 interrupting the circuit through the relevant rotary magnet A and thus stopping the display device. So that the rotation into the zero position takes place completely in each case, the contact a bridges the opening contact 53 in order to keep the magnet A still excited until the contact f 4 is opened.
If all display devices 41 ... 50 are in the zero position, their contacts 54 interrupt the flow of current to the relays F and G, after which the relays W, X and Z are also de-energized. The deletion process is now complete.
If the case occurs that all digit display devices 41 ... 50 assume their zero position before the switches 101 and 102 of the distributor are brought into the starting position, the relays F and G are not de-energized despite the opening of the contacts 54 the capacitor 111 supplies these relays with enough current to maintain the excitation,
until the contact z closes the next time. Then, simultaneously with the energization of the rotary magnet D, a current pulse passes through the valve 106, the contact f 1 and the resistor 112, a current pulse to the capacitor 111, whereby the last rer is recharged and is then able to close the interval until the next current pulse bridge.
The automatic generation of current pulses thus continues until the switches 101 and 102 of the distributor also reach their zero position. Then, by opening the con tact 103, the power supply to the rotary magnet D and the capacitor 111 is interrupted, after which the relays F, G, W, Y and Z are de-energized.
By pressing the switch 28, the rotary magnet D can be excited arbitrarily, whereby the two switches 101 and 102 of the distributor are switched to one level.
By pressing the switch 29, on the other hand, the rotary magnet A of the digit display device 41... 50 connected by means of the switch 101 can be arbitrarily excited, whereby the digit disk 51 of the device in question can be rotated by one step.
If you want a different type of game, the so-called international clearing, switch 27 on the control panel is opened. As a result, the relay V is energized after each cone thrust, but the relay R cannot be energized when the contact v1 closes. The impulse generator therefore does not take action. On the other hand, the relay E is connected to the charged capacitor 104 by means of the vibration switch 113,
so that the relay E is energized and the switches 101 and 102 of the distributor are switched forward by one step via the con tact e2, as previously described be. The turned on digit display device 41 therefore projects the digit 0 on the matt disc 33, even if the player z. B. brought five cones to fall .hat.
The four remaining pins remain in place for the next pin push by the same player. After the second thrust, in which, for example, two cones have fallen over, the processes are repeated, the switches 101 and 102 of the distributor switching on the second display device 42, which again projects the number 0 onto the ground glass 33. At the third cone thrust z. B. no cones, so that still two cones remain.
In the fourth cone push, the remaining two cones are knocked over, so that now all cones have fallen. At this moment the switch 22 in the electrical box 20 is automatically closed, which via the contact v1 which also closes when the relay V is energized, the circuit to the relay R sohess:
t. This is excited, whereupon the bridge relay X is connected to the resistors 91 ... 99 by means of the contact r3. Since all cones have fallen, all contacts 11 ... 19 are closed and thus all resistors 91 ... 99 connected in parallel.
The pulse generator then works in the manner already described until nine equal resistors 81 ... 89 in the other arm of the bridge circuit are also connected in parallel, with the nine current pulses required for this, the disk 51 of the display device 44 in nine steps turn so that the number 9 is projected onto the screen (Fig. 4).
Since the signal generator 31 now first shows three zeros and then the number 9 as the fourth, it can be read immediately that the player needed four throws to bring down all the pins. The display is cleared in a completely analogous manner as previously described.
It should also be noted that the relay E is only excited by the discharge of the capacitor 104 and is subsequently de-energized. While the relay E is being excited, the contact e1 prevents the capacitor 104 from being recharged.
If the relay is de-energized after the capacitor has been discharged, the current flowing through the resistor 105, the contact e1 and the contact v2 to the relay E is throttled by means of the resistor 105,
that no renewed excitation of relay E occurs. After about two seconds, the contact v2 is then opened, and it takes about five seconds to charge the capacitor 104 again to the extent necessary for the relay E to be energized.
This blocking time of about five seconds is necessary because when the cone is pulled up, the rebound bar can possibly be shaken, the shaking switch 113 being able to respond. After five seconds, the machine has already pulled the cone so high that there is no longer any risk of shaking the rebound mat.
