. Die Titerzunahme TZ beträgt 3,4%. Die Verlängerung V durch Zugbeanspruchung beträgt 0,36%.
Method and system for producing voluminous yarns from endless synthetic threads It is known to produce voluminous yarns from endless synthetic threads by the pre-twisted yarns being removed from a delivery spool through a zone with a turbulent air flow, with a looping of the individual threads at certain intervals takes place, whereupon the yarn is wound. The turbulent air flow is generated by means of compressed air flowing out through a nozzle. However, this method has the disadvantage that it is relatively uneconomical because of the large amount of compressed air it consumes.
The present invention avoids these parts after and relates to a method and a system for producing voluminous yarns from endless synthetic threads. The method is characterized in that a pre-twisted yarn is passed through a false twisting device and is temporarily at least partially twisted back, and that the twisted back yarn is looped and mutual warping of the individual threads of the yarn by means of the false twisting device.
The loop formation can advantageously be brought about by friction of the twisted back yarn on the false twisting device or by air vortices generated by means of the false twisting device. It has been shown, surprisingly, that relatively weak air vortices, possibly in combination with frictional forces, are sufficient to bring about the desired loop formation.
The false twisting device causes, on the one hand, the continuous, temporary turning back of the yarn and, by means of the rotating part, at the same time the air and / or frictional forces required for loop formation. In this way, the desired bulkiness of the yarn can be produced in a very simple and elegant manner.
A yarn is expediently used whose pre-twist is obtained by inserting a value between 20 and 70 for a in the known equation T - a 1 / N, where T is the number of twist per meter, N is the metric thread number and a is the twist coefficient.
It has been shown that the desired effect is achieved even if the yarn is incompletely untwisted. A very good effect is achieved when the extent of the false twist given to the yarn is greater than that of the pre-twist, so that the yarn receives a temporary reverse twist that exceeds the zero point. The extent of the twist exceeding the zero point is preferably at least 5% of the pre-twist of the yarn.
The method is suitable for treating yarns made from fully synthetic material, e.g. B. poly amides, polyesters, vinyl or acrylic polymers. Yarns made from regenerated cellulose, such as. B. viscose or copper rayon, and yarns made from cellulose derivatives, especially acetate silk.
Furthermore, mixed threads made of the materials mentioned are also suitable.
With reference to the drawing, execution examples of the invention are explained.
Figs. I and 3 show schematically each a view.
2 and 4 show in the same representation, but on a larger scale, the rotating part of the false twisting device in different imple mentation forms.
According to FIGS. 1 and 3, in both exemplary embodiments, the system has two pairs of conveyor rollers FR and TR and a false twisting device FT arranged between them.
These system parts are located between a yarn delivery device and a yarn take-up device (not shown). The rotating part of the false twisting device is as shown in FIGS. 2 and 4 as a hollow shaft HW, which is provided at one end with a twist generator D formed as a steel bracket.
The pre-twisted yarn f made of endless synthetic fibers is drawn off the yarn delivery bobbin by the rollers of the roller pair FR driven in the direction of the arrow, between which it is passed, and after passing through a free straight line through the hollow shaft HW, it is of the false twisting device FT passed through, then wrapped around the swirl generator D with a winding.
After traveling in a straight line through another free stretch, the yarn passes between the pulling rollers of the roller pair TR to the yarn take-up bobbin.
As can be seen from the drawing, the yarn f is fed to the false twisting device at an angle ss to the false twist axis, specifically for the purpose of exerting friction on the yarn at the deflection point A. The yarn f is on the stretch rotated back from the common contact point B of the pair of rollers FR to the twist generator D by the driven false twisting device FT and receives its original rotation again immediately after leaving the twist generator D.
As a result of the friction of the yarn on the false twisting device at A in connection with the air vortex generated by the rotating hollow shaft HW, the individual threads of the twisted back yarn are looped and warped, the speed of which is lower than that of the pair of rollers FR.
The winding speed is advantageously somewhat lower than the conveying speed of the pair of rollers TR. In certain cases, the pair of rollers TR can be omitted entirely.
In the embodiment according to FIG. 1, an acute angle ss, in the embodiment according to FIG. 3, however, an obtuse angle ss is seen. The angle, B is determined by the respective position of the yarn feed member in the form of the lower roller of the roller pair FR (Fig. 1 and 3).
The rotating part of the false twisting device according to FIG. 4 differs from that of FIG. 2 in that the rotating part HW of the false twisting device at the yarn inlet end has a propeller LS for the purpose of generating the air vortex. When using such a false twisting device, the yarn can also be fed to the same in the axial direction, so that the looping of the yarn is then brought about exclusively by the air vortex.
Example 1 A yarn consisting of 68 endless threads of polyhexamethylene adipamide with a denier of 80 denier and a pre-twist of 600 tim (twist coefficient a = 58) is made using the in FIGS. 1 and 2 of the The system shown in the drawing is treated. The pair of conveyor rollers FR is driven at a peripheral speed U1 = 27.5 m! Min.
According to FIG. 1, after leaving it, the yarn is fed to the false twisting device FT at an angle ss , whose rotating hollow shaft HW operates at a speed n </ I> is driven by 19,200 rpm. The yarn undergoes a temporary reverse twist
EMI0002.0081
that is, the reverse rotation exceeds the zero point by about 100 tim, that is around 16.611 / o, based on the pre-rotation of 600 tim.
When passing through the false twisting device, the loop formation and mutual warping of the individual threads takes place. The yarn then passes the second pair of conveyor rollers TR, which is driven with a circumferential speed U2 of 26 mlmin, and is then wound up at a winding speed L3 = 25.8 m / min.
In this way, a yarn is obtained whose titer increases
EMI0002.0096
amounts. The extension of the yarn under tensile stress can be determined using the following procedure: A section of 1 m length of the treated yarn is suspended at one end, preloaded with 0.01 g / den and the length a of the preloaded yarn section measured immediately. The yarn is then loaded with 0.5 gden for 30 seconds and then again with 0.01 gden for 1 min, whereupon the length b is measured in the loaded state.
The extension V due to tensile stress is then given as a percentage using the formula
EMI0002.0101
It is 0.450 / 0 for the above yarn. Example 2 A yarn as described in Example 1 with the same pre-twist is made with a system consisting of a pair of conveying rollers FR, a false twisting device FT with propeller according to FIG. 4 of the drawing and a take-up device.
The pair of conveying rollers, which is driven at a speed U1 = 28.6 m: 'min, is arranged in such a way that after leaving the same, the yarn, contrary to FIGS. 3 and 4, runs in the axis of the hollow shaft HW of the false twisting device means that the angle ss is zero in this case.
The propeller LS generates a turbulent air flow inside the hollow shaft HW rotating at a speed of n - 19,300 rpm, which in turn causes the formation of loops and mutual warping of the individual threads.
In the false twisting device, the yarn makes a temporary reverse twist R = 675 T / m, that is, the reverse twist R exceeds the zero point by 75 Tm (= 12.5% of the pre-twist). After leaving the false twisting device FT , the yarn is wound up at a winding speed U3 = 27 m / min.
A yarn is obtained with a titer increase TZ = 5.90 / e. The elongation V due to tensile stress is 0.49%.
Example 3 A yarn as described in example 1 is treated under the same conditions as in example 2, with the exception that it is the false twisting device FT at an angle ss = 90 'is supplied and experiences friction on the edge of the latter. Furthermore, a winding speed of U3 = 25.3 m / min is selected. This gives a yarn with a titer increase TZ of 12.10 / 0. The extension V due to tensile stress is 0.790 / a.
Example 4 A yarn as described in Example 1 with the same pre-twist is treated with the device shown in Example 1, using the false twisting device FT at an angle ss = 95 is fed. The rotating hollow shaft HW is driven at a speed of h = 19,500 rpm.
The circumferential speed of the conveyor roller pairs FR and TR as well as the winding device amount to: U1 = 34.2 m // min U2 = 33.0 mmin and U ?, = 32.8 m / min. The reverse rotation R = about 570 T / m so not the zero point. The increase in titer TZ of the yarn is 4.311 / e. The elongation V due to tensile stress is 0.281 / 9.
Example 5 A yarn consisting of 34 endless threads of polyhexamethylene adipamide with a denier of 70 denier and a pre-twist of 400 Tim (twist coefficient a = 36) is treated with the same device as in Example 1, where it is fed to the false twisting device FT at an angle / i = 95. The rotating hollow shaft HW is driven at a speed n = 19 300 rpm.
The circumferential speeds of the roller pairs FR and TR and of the winding device are: U1 = 42.7 m / min U2 = 41.5 m / min and U3 = 41.3 m / min. The reverse rotation R = 480 T / m exceeds the zero point by 80 T / m (20% of the pre-turn)
. The increase in titer TZ is 3.4%. The elongation V due to tensile stress is 0.36%.
