Fastening device The present invention relates to a fastening device which can be used, for example, for mounting, on walls, pipes of all kinds (water pipes, gas pipes, shielded or unshielded electrical conductors, tubes for electrical conductors, etc.).
It is known that the collars currently in use generally comprise a base half-collar provided with a threaded end piece for fixing, by wise screw, on the threaded head of a fixing rod and an upper half-collar or cap, the two half-collars also having pierced and tapped lugs for closing the collar and tightening it by means of screws.
The cost price of this type of collar is relatively high because of the various operations required for its manufacture. Its use also entails relatively high installation costs (screwing, unscrewing, etc.).
The object of the present invention is to obviate these drawbacks and the fixing device which is the subject thereof is characterized by a collar comprising at least one curved and deformable blade having an opening for the passage of a fixing means with a head. retainer to which said blade is connected by interlocking and by closing means for tightening the collar, by its free ends, on the element which it is used to fix, this tightening simultaneously causing the immobilization of the collar by compared to the surface on which it fixes said element.
Some exemplary embodiments of the collar fixing device are shown schematically in the appended drawing, in which FIG. 1 is a side view of a first embodiment of the device, the collar of which takes a single curved blade. Fig. 2 is a view similar to the previous one showing the clamp clamped on a substantially cylindrical element.

Figs. 17 and 18 are, respectively, a plan view and a profile view showing the use of a notched rod for closing and tightening the collar.
Figs. 19 and 20 are, respectively, a plan view and a profile view showing the use of a round wire pin for closing and tightening the collar.
Finally, Figs. 21, 22 and 23 are views, respectively, in plan, in elevation and in profile, showing the use of a ring for closing and tightening the collar.
In fig. 1 and 2, the collar of the device is formed of a simple curved blade A whose ends a1 and a2 are bent outwards and arranged to receive the closing and tightening means shown schematically by the axis B of the fig. 2 which shows the clamp tight on a cylindrical element C which can be a cable, a pipe, etc.
The fixing means consists of a simple nail with a D head. The immobilization of the collar, relative to the wall E intended to receive it, is ensured here by the clamping of the element C in the collar, on the head of the nail D.
The opening for the passage of the nail can be either a simple buttonhole F (fig. 3), one end F1 of which is widened for the passage, by interlocking, of the fixing nail, or an angled groove G (fig. 4) having a part g1 which opens onto one side of the blade A and a part g2 disposed substantially in the longitudinal axis of said blade.
In the variant of FIG. 5, the collar does not differ from the embodiment of FIGS. 1 and 2 only by the existence of stamped tabs H serving as a support base.
The embodiment shown in FIG. 6 relates to a collar in two identical elements K1 and K2, the lower parts of which are clamped against each other by the nail D, while the upper ends of these elements are bent to form tabs k1 and k2 intended for receive the means for closing and tightening the collar.
Here also, the immobilization of the collar relative to the wall E is ensured by the tightening of the member held by the collar (pipe, pipe, cable, etc.) on the head of the nail D.
In the exemplary embodiment of FIGS. 7 and 8, the fixing collar is formed of two identical collar elements 1a and lb each of which, in the form of an elastic curved blade, is obtained by simple cutting and press-forming, for example, from a strip of steel strip.
Each element has, in the vicinity of the base of the collar, an angled groove 2 comprising a transverse part 2a which opens onto one side of the blade and a longitudinal part 2b which opens into the first and which is located in the axis of the blade .
Near the bottom of the groove 2, the blade 1 a (1b) is bent outwards to form a tab 3 serving as a base for the mounted collar.
At the opposite end, the curved blade comprises a raised tab 4 arranged to receive the means intended to ensure the closing and tightening of the collar.
The two collar elements are joined by mutual interlocking in the grooves 2; their transverse and longitudinal rusting worm is provided by the fixing rod 5. which passes through the bottom of the groove part 2b of each of the collar elements and whose head 5a retains the collar against the wall on which it is placed.
Under the effect of the clamping means, the two half-collars tilt towards each other, resting under the head 5a, somewhat like the jaws of a clamp around their connecting pivot, and the legs 3 of the collar come, in this tilting movement, strongly press on the surface of the wall in which the rod 5 is pressed and give the collar a large bearing surface.
The amplitude of this movement is determined by the distance between the underside of the head 5a and this surface, and to a certain extent defines the range of diameters that the collar can embrace and tighten, a range amplified however still by the inherent elasticity of the collar, elasticity which, even in the case of the collars shown in fig. 1-5, allows these to be used to clamp different diameters.
This range can be varied by varying said distance, for example by pushing in the rod 5 more or less.
Figs. 13 and 14 show examples of such fixing rods capable of being more or less sunk: in FIG. 13 it is a simple wood screw 7, with countersunk head, and, in fig. 14, a nail 8 with a flat head. The position of the head of the fixing means does not have to be absolutely precise, in the case of the two-piece collar, for a given diameter to be tightened, because the elasticity of the collar, in particular of the legs , makes it possible to tighten the same diameter with indentation depths significantly different from each other.
Whatever the collar, in two parts or in one, but even more especially when it is in two parts, it is advantageous, in certain respects, to use as a fixing rod a rod with two heads separated from one another. the other like the rod 5 shown in FIGS. 8 and 12, and comprising, in addition to the retaining head 5a, a second head or glue 5b which limits the sinking thereof, connected to the body by a conical part 5c.
The depression of such a fixing rod is invariable, since limited by the collar 5b, when the distance between the retaining head and this glue rette is invariable, which is the case when the rod is made of a single part, or when one of the heads, or both, is attached but fixed, for example attached by welding, punching, etc. To allow the two-piece collars to tighten very different diameters, it is then possible to provide sets of fixing rods with heads that are spaced differently according to diameter categories.
It is also possible to use fixing rods with two adjustable spacing heads, at least one of the heads then being attached and movable along the rod, or even removable, by screwing for example.
These two-headed points are shown here in the form of points but can also be made in the form of screws. In the form of spikes, they can be driven into the material constituting the wall P on which the collar is placed either by means of an ordinary striking tool, or by means of a device with a guide barrel and propulsion of the rod by repeated shocks or by percussion of a cartridge. These two-headed points lend themselves particularly well to the use of such an apparatus because of the excellent guidance provided to them by two separated heads.
In the case of rods intended to be driven in by a cartridge pistol, it is advantageously associated with the rod a destructible plastic cap B (fig. 12) covering the retaining head 5a and resting on it by the bottom of its cavity as well. that, by its edge, on the head 5b for limiting the depression, which can cooperate, especially in the case of depression in certain relatively soft materials, with a locking washer 6. These caps can be replaced by a coating of the two heads with a plastic material, or at least of their side faces, so that they have the same diameter.
One can, for example, achieve this coating by overmolding and make it take any shape suitable for use in a gun of a specific type. It is also possible to combine the two-headed tips with any other means known per se for drawing tips in cartridge guns, in particular for sealing the explosion chamber (shearable washer attached to the rod by welding or riveting), or else to hold the tip in place in the guide barrel.
In all the collars described, the arrangement of the opening, or holes, of the collar is such that the establishment of the collar can be done by fitting the latter onto the fixing rod below the retaining head that presents the latter, which allows the collar to be placed on a rod previously driven into place.
In the case of fig. 7, 8, 10 and 11, the means ensuring the closing and tightening of the collar, on a tube T for example, consist of a notched latch 9 shown in FIG. 9.
This tongue is split over the major part of its length, so as to present two branches 9a and 9b connected, at one of their ends, by a head 9c. The outer sides of the branches 9a and 9b have wolf teeth or notches 10. To close the collar and ensure its tightening, for example on the tube T, the notched tongue 9 is engaged in transverse slots 11 which the tabs present. readings 4 of the collar elements 1a and 1b.
The free front part of the notched tongue is curved, after tightening of the collar, so as to rest against the outer surface of one of the collar elements, while the head 9c of said tab watches, head which bears against the tab 4 of the other collar element is folded against this tab (fig. 11).
In the case of fig. 15 and 16, the tabs 4 of the collar elements are pierced with a simple smooth hole for the passage of a bolt 12.
In the case of fig. 17 and 18, one of the tabs 4 is pierced with a smooth hole while the other tab 4 is pierced with a hole on the edges of which appear elastic tabs 13 serving as pawls for holding the toothed part 14a of a rod 14 provided with a head 14b, this rod possibly being made of nylon, for example.
In the variant of FIGS. 19 and 20, each tab 4 is pierced with four holes for the passage of a U-shaped pin 15, made of round metal wire and the ends of the branches of which are folded around one of the tabs 4.
Finally, in the variant of FIGS. 21, 22, 23, each of the tabs 4 has a small outer rim 4a for retaining a simple clamping ring 16 which can be made of nylon.
It will be noted that the arrangement of the new collar makes it possible to orient it in any way around the axis of the fixing means (nail, plug, screw, etc.). In addition, the legs 3 of the two-piece collar provide it with great stability and excellent mounting strength, whatever its orientation.
