Beispiel 1

EMI0002.0024
called, where RI is a hydrogen or halogen atom, an A1kyh, alkoxy or aliphatic acylamino group and R2 is a hydrogen atom, an alkyl or alkoxy group.
Examples of suitable azo components are: N-bis-cyanoethylanhin, 14N-bis-cyanoethyl) -amino-3-methyl-benzene, 1- (N-bis-cyanoethyl) -amino-3 methoxy-benzene, 1- (N- bis-cyanoethyl) -amino-3-acetyiamino benzene, 1- (N bis-cyanoethyl) -amino-3-chlorobenzene, 1- (N-bis-cyanoethyl) -amino 2,5-dimethyl-benzene, 1- (N-bis-cyanoethyl)
-amino-2-methoxy-5-methyl-benzene. Some of the azo components mentioned are known compounds and can be prepared by known processes, for example by reacting the corresponding bis-chloro-ethyl compound with an alkali metal cyanide (J. chem. Soc. 1934, page 1536) or by reacting the corresponding anilines with acrylonitrile, can be obtained.
The diazotization of the diazo components mentioned can be carried out by methods known per se, eg. B. with the help of mineral acid, especially hydrochloric acid and sodium nitrite, or z. B. with a solution of nitrosylsulfuric acid in concentrated sulfuric acid.
The coupling can also be known per se, z. B. in neutral to acidic agents, if necessary in the presence of sodium acetate or the like, the coupling speed influencing buffer substances, or catalysts, such as. B. pyridine, respectively. its salts, are made.
After the coupling reaction has taken place, the dyes formed from the coupling mixture can easily, for. B. by filtration, because they are practically insoluble in water.
The new monoazo dyes are particularly suitable for dyeing and printing structures, for example made of polyamides, but especially fibers made of acetate rayon, triacetate and polyethylene terephthalate.
The dyeings produced on the structures mentioned with the new dyes are distinguished by their purity and vividness of their hue and by good general fastness properties, in particular by a high degree of sublimation and lightfastness.
In the following examples, unless otherwise specified, parts are parts by weight, percentages are percentages by weight, and temperatures are given in degrees Celsius. Example 1
EMI0002.0101

The diazo solution thus obtained is allowed to flow into a solution of 19.9 parts of N, N-bis (cyanoethyl) aniline in 100 parts of concentrated hydrochloric acid. By adding saturated sodium acetate solution, the dye precipitates as a brown-red powder, which is acetate silk, nylon,

20.6 parts of 1-amino-2-trifluoromethyl-4-nitrobenzene are diazotized as described in Example 1 and coupled with 19.9 parts of N, N-bis (cyanoethyl) aniline.
The dye precipitates as a dark red powder and dyes acetate silk, nylon, triacetate and polyester fibers in red shades, which have the same properties as the dye in example 1. Example 3
EMI0003.0001
11.8 parts of 1-amino-4-cyano-benzene are dissolved in 200 parts of 2N hydrochloric acid, cooled to 0 to 5 with ice and mixed with 25 parts of 4N sodium nitrite solution.
The coupling is carried out as described in Example 1. The dye dyes acetate, polyamide, triacetate and polyester fibers in pure yellow tones. The dyeings on polyester fibers are distinguished by their good lightfastness and sublimation fastness.
The amines of column I mentioned in the table below, diazotized according to the information in these examples and coupled with the azo components of column II, give dyes which acetate silk dye polyamide, triacetate and polyester fibers in the shade indicated in column II.
