Description
Additional patent to the main patent no. 351656 A capacitor battery assembled in a modular manner from individual capacitor assemblies provided with special housings The main patent relates to a capacitor battery assembled in a modular manner from individual capacitor assemblies provided with special housings, which according to the patent claim is characterized in that each individual capacitor has its dimensions adapted housing that accommodates fuse, switching and signaling devices is directly attached,
in connection with this housing a further housing for receiving the group pen connections can be provided.
The invention relates to a further advanced embodiment of this capacitor battery, which is characterized in that at least one further housing, which is used to connect power supplies and is adapted to the dimensions of the capacitor housing, is built spatially in series with the capacitor housings.
Such additional housing to be built on can be attached to one end of the entire assembled battery, as well as being lined up between the capacitors of this battery.
The additional housing for the power supply lines can normally contain terminals for connecting a cable on the one hand and connecting the supply lines to the busbars on the other. The cable can either be provided with a cable end closure attached to the underside of this housing or it can be passed through a simple cover flange on the underside with a stuffing box sen cable screw connection. The junction box can also contain the fuses that are switched into the power supply lines.
According to the main patent special Ge housing parts for receiving the busbars can be easily seen that are built on top of the switch housing. The mentioned housing for the power supply lines can also be provided with a cover which is adapted to the busbar boxes of the capacitor housing.
It is not necessary for the entire battery to have its own busbars, but the various housings can also be equipped without separate busbar sections, but with insulating sleeves for transferring connection lines from one housing to the next. Instead of individual busbar pieces, continuous common busbars can also be used for all of the assembled housings.
The fuses for the capacitors can be built directly onto the capacitor terminals in the switch housing.
In the drawing, two exemplary embodiments of the subject matter of the invention are shown schematically. In Figure 1, the first two of a composite group of capacitor housings 1 are shown. These capacitor housings are provided with switch housings 2 and with cover hoods 3. Between these covers 3 there are insulating sleeves 4, in de NEN the busbars are guided from one component to the other.
At the left end of the group, such an insulating sleeve 4 leads to the cover 5 of the additional housing, which is shown here by a most 6 Einführungska. At the bottom of this lead-in box 6, a cable termination 7 is attached.
In addition to the connection of the power supply lines, the lead-in box 6 can also contain an automatic regulator or a further additional housing can be provided for this regulator.
According to Fig. 2, a controller housing 12 is built at the right end of the capacitor group as an additional housing. It is connected by an insulating sleeve 4 in the same way as the capacitor housing 1. This controller housing 12 contains in its cover 13 signal lamps 14. In the bottom of the controller housing 12 a connection opening for the power supply is provided, which is covered by a base plate until it connects to a connector 7 arranged on the underside of the controller housing 12.
If necessary, a special additional housing can be provided for connecting the power supply lines.
