Device allowing the continuous impregnation of spinning reels, in particular with a view to their humidification The object of the present invention is a device allowing the continuous impregnation of spinning reels, in particular with a view to their humidification.
This device is characterized by a paddle wheel, reserving between the vanes cells suitable for each holding a spool of orientation parallel to the axis of the wheel, which is open to the outside, while a cylindrical wall, internally delimiting the bottom of the cells, is perforated, means arranged internally and externally being arranged so as to be able to project the impregnation agent radially towards the interior, through the perforations, for the interior means, and in direction of the interior, for the external means, so as to reach the coils on two opposite sides as they pass between the aforementioned means.
The appended drawing shows an embodiment of the object of the invention, given by way of example. Fig. 1 is a semi-schematic elevation view thereof.
Fig. 2 is a partial side view with cutaway.
The device shown consists of a wheel carrying blades 1, held between two flanges, one of which is solid 2 and the other in the shape of a crown 3.
The blades 1 form, with said flanges and a perforated cylindrical bottom 4, cells 5 which can each contain a coil such as 6, with an axis oriented parallel to the axis of rotation of the wheel.
The full cheek 2 thereof is carried by a shaft 7 rotating in. a bearing 8 and driven by a toothed wheel 9. The inside of the crown-shaped cheek 3 rolls on rollers 10, carried by supports or a common support 11, not shown in FIG. 1.
The direction of rotation is that of arrow 12.
The perforated cylinder 4 may consist of a perforated sheet in the manner of a colander, a grid, a mesh, bars, etc.
Internally to this cylinder is fixed a stationary pipe 13, curved in an arc of a circle concentric with the axis of the wheel and connected to a supply pipe 14.
Externally to the wheel is arranged in the same way a pipe 15 with supply by 16.
The two tubes 13 and 15 have a series of holes, or nozzles, making it possible to project a liquid or a vapor in the direction of the coils, both from the inside, through the perforations 4, and directly from the outside.
The coils will thus be subjected on all sides to this projection, while they pass between the two tubes, the lengths of which are practically equal.
The impregnation, respectively humidification action will therefore depend on the dimensions of the tubes, on their flow rate, at the end of the speed of rotation of the wheel.
The latter is fed with coils by bringing them one by one through an inclined plane 17. Likewise, they leave the wheel by themselves via an inclined plane 18.
Feelers 19, acting on an electric control device, are arranged opposite one another near the edges of the two cheeks of the wheel, immediately after the coil receiving station, in order to stop the wheel in the event that they are struck when passing by a coil which is incorrectly inserted into a cell.
Finally, it will be useful to provide safety means establishing a link between the rotation of the wheel and the supply to the tubes 13 and 15, so that in the event of the wheel stopping, this supply is automatically stopped. , as well as in the event of slowing down of the latter.
