501' an.
Device for connecting profile struts The invention relates to a device for connecting profile struts by clamping, wherein one strut rests with its end face on a side wall of another strut and at least one strut has slots or chambers, which are facing flanges or edges, such that the slot width at the location of these flanges is less than at the depth of the slot or the chamber.
It is known to assemble profile struts for any purpose, e.g. B. welded, riveted, screwed or clamped together in some way. These known ways of building profile struts together have the disadvantage that the connection cannot be easily connected and released and, above all, cannot be easily adjusted, readjusted or displaced, especially not when it is an adjustment or displacement Small measure acts.
In these known types of assembly of profile struts, the struts are often damaged or changed by bringing rivet holes, screw holes, welding or such injuries, or by Kör nerschlag, and these changes or damage complicate or prevent a small adjustment or displacement of the parts that are fastened to one another and also often damage the aesthetics of the whole.
Next, the known types of assembly of profile struts ent neither have the disadvantage that the parts that are used for the connection are not sufficiently hidden from view and therefore look unattractive, or the disadvantage that these parts partially from the outer profiles of the Struts protrude and thereby not only give the connection an unattractive appearance, but also take up space that is needed for other structural parts.
The purpose of the invention is to obtain an easily detachable or easily adjustable, adjustable or displaceable connection by means of clamping profile struts, with the parts of the clamping device belonging to the connection not protruding beyond the outer profile and its imaginary extensions of the clamped struts, and where the fastening resp.
loosening or adjusting the connection does not cause any injuries or other damage to the struts, so that the adjustment or shifting of the profile strive afterwards is always possible, even by a small amount, and in addition, Festklemmen.bzw. Lö sen the clamping parts used for the connection from a location next to the cross strut in question is possible, please include, and other advantages are achieved, such as the beauty of the connection and a high degree of invisibility of the parts belonging to the Klemmvor device.
This purpose is achieved according to the invention in that the device for connecting profile struts has at least one clamping block and a tension bolt that can be screwed into this clamping block, the clamping block being mounted in one of the slots of a strut in such a way that it can be supported behind the flanges, and the tension bolt head is supported on a strut by means of a support block located within the outer profile of this strut.
Embodiments of the device for connec tion of profile struts are described with reference to the drawings. 1 strive for a connection of two identical profiles, the longitudinal strut being drawn in section and the transverse strut in plan view, and two opposing walls of a strut being connected by two further walls, so that the strut is hollow. Two walls of a strut have dovetail-shaped slots and the terminal block with dovetail-shaped parts hooks into these slots.
The parts of the terminal block that are not in the longitudinal strut are housed in the cavity of the cross strut or its imaginary extension. The tension bolt is also located in this cavity and the tension bolt head is supported by means of a support block at the head end of the cross strut on the inner parts of this strut, which support block is provided with two short circular stub axles,
Fig. 2 is a section along line 11-II of the connec tion of Fig. 1, Fig. 3 is a view of the terminal block of Figs. 1 and 2, Fig. 4 is a view of a support block of Figs. 1 and 2, Mg.
5 and 6 the holes which are made in the wall of the cross strut near the head end, Fig. 7 the parts of the flanges which must be removed over a certain length in order to be able to bring the clamping block into the slots from the side, Fig. 8 and 9 further embodiments of slots, which also have mutually facing edges, in such a way that the slot width at the location of these edges is less than in the depth of the slot, FIG. 10 shows a strut profile,
two opposing walls of the strut being connected by only one web and there are also slots with opposing wheels and the web has thickened areas.
Fig. 11 shows a further embodiment under Be use of two same struts according to FIG. 10, where two clamping connections are used with a clamping block and a tension bolt and the clamping block is entirely in the slot of the longitudinal strut and the support blocks used are crescent-shaped Fig. 12 is a section along line XII-XII of Fig. 11, Fig. 13 is a connection of profile struts similar to Fig. 10,
The thickening of the web is only slight or can be completely absent and the support block has the shape of a cylinder drilled through in the longitudinal direction and each hole in the web near the head end of the cross strut runs through a narrower part to the front surface and shoulders 14 forms a section along line XIV-XIV according to FIG. 13, FIGS. 15c, 15b and 15c the cylindrical support block,
16, 17 and 18 profile shapes of Profilstre ben, wherein the bottom wall of a slot over the entire length of the strut has a channel and the cross section of this channel is circular, Fig. 19 the profile shape of a strut, the channel behind the bottom wall of a slot and the channel cross-section is rectangular, FIG. 20 shows a profile according to FIG. 19, with not only slots and channels but also further hollow spaces being present and a rectangular channel lying behind several slot bottom walls,
Fig.21 shows an embodiment of a connection of profile struts according to Fig. 19, which has two clamping devices, each with a tension bolt and a clamping block, each clamping block lies entirely in a slot and each support block is half moon-shaped and overlapping edges be seated and the The head of the tension bolt has a hexagonal hole, the axial direction of this hole being the same as the axial direction of the straight tension bolt itself, and it is also clear that the tension bolt can be turned from a location on the side of the cross strut, F!, 22 one Section along line XXII-XXII from the connection according to FIG. 21,
23 shows a further embodiment of the connection according to FIG. 21, but the support block is rectangular and flat and the holes in the walls are rectangular near the head end of the cross strut for the purpose of attaching and rotating the tension bolt, FIG. 24 shows a section of a Clamping block, the axis BB of the screw-threaded hole forming an angle A of 45 with the plane CC of the surfaces of the clamping block that come to rest against the flanges of the longitudinal strut,
25 is a plan view of a terminal block according to FIG. 24, but the angle A is 90 and two opposite corners of the terminal block are rounded, FIGS. 26 and 27, like the terminal block according to FIG. 25, come to rest in a slot in a strut 28 shows the top view and a partial section of a connection, a clamping block according to FIG. 24 being used and a profile strut as a transverse strut being clamped with its head end on the side wall of two longitudinal struts, for example at an angle of 45 °.
In Fig. 1, 1 is the longitudinal strut, 2 the transverse strut, 3 are the slots or chambers which have mutually facing flanges or edges 9 such that the slot width at the location of these flanges is less than in the depth of the slot. The struts used have a hollow profile and the cavity is indicated by 40. The Klemmvorrich device has a clamping block 5, a tension bolt 6 and in this embodiment also a support block 7. In this embodiment, a centering bolt 18, which has a centering end 20, is also used.
But there are also embodiments of the connection which either do not use a support block or a centering bolt or do not have either. The support block 7 (Fig. 4) has two short cylindrical stub axles 21, with which it is Gela Gert in the walls of the cross strut. It also has a hole 16, whereby the handle of the tension bolt can be inserted and the inner diameter of the hole is slightly larger than the outer diameter of the handle, so d'ass some play space is created between the two parts.
The train bolt 6 is provided with screw thread and can also be screwed into the hole 12 of the terminal block 5, which is also provided with screw thread. The terminal block 5 (FIG. 3) has dovetail-shaped parts which can be inserted into the slots 3 so that the parts 8 can hook into the flanges 9 at the rear. The slots 3 are accordingly dovetail-shaped. In the cross brace holes 11 are made in the walls near the head end.
Further embodiments of these holes 111, 211 are shown in FIGS. 5 and 6, while FIGS. 8 and 9 show further embodiments of the slots 103 and 203, which likewise have flanges 109 and 209, respectively. The wall of the holes 11, 111, 211 is curved and semicircular (26) on the side of the end face of the strut. The support block is now stored in the transverse strut, as FIG. 2 indicates, with its stub shafts 21 on the walls 26.
You can also first insert the tie bolt with its handle through the support block and then attach both together in the cross brace in the position, as shown in FIGS. 1 and 2. The dimensions of the tension bolt and the support block are chosen so that these parts do not protrude beyond the outer profile of the cross strut or its imaginary extension, so that the corners 15 (Fig. 2), which are formed by the longitudinal strut and the cross strut , remain completely free. The terminal block is pushed with its parts 8 in the slots of the longitudinal strut and brought into place.
If you want to use a centering bolt, the correct place of the terminal block can be secured by this centering bolt 18, which is screwed into the same screw benloch 12 and is screwed into a centering hole 39 with a centering end. This centering hole is drilled into the longitudinal strut at the desired location. But you can also do without using a centering bolt and a centering hole in order not to damage the longitudinal strut.
The connection of the two struts is now made as follows: On the one hand, the tension bolt and the support block are attached to the cross strut. On the other hand, the clamping block with its dovetail parts is placed in the slots of the longitudinal strut and moved so far until it is in the right place. Now the cross strut is placed transversely to the longitudinal strut, the tie bolt is rotated with its handle into the screw hole of the clamping block and turned so tightly that the end face 41, 141 of the cross strut is clamped against the side wall of the longitudinal strut, as shown in Fig. 1 and 2 show.
In the clamped state, the head of the tension bolt presses with its surface facing the longitudinal strut on the support block and this presses with its stub axles 21 again on the surfaces 26 of the cross strut, i.e. on inner parts, so that the cross strut with its end face 41 ( Fig. 5) or 141 (Fig. 6) on the side wall of the longitudinal strut is clamped.
It is essential that the support block transfers the pressure of the tension bolt head to the cross strut without part of this support block protruding beyond the outer profile of the cross strut, so that the corners 15 remain completely free. In Figs. 1 and 2, the support block is also not profile dimensions beyond the cross struts; because the end faces 49 of the stub axles lie smoothly with the outer wall 50 of the cross strut.
In this and also in other embodiments shown, the support block is subjected to pressure and also to bending. The parts of the clamping block 5 not located in the slots 3 are located in the cavity 40 of the cross brace or its imaginary extension. The tie bolt is also located in this hollow space of the cross brace or in its imaginary extension.
In order not to have to push the terminal block completely from one end of the longitudinal strut, the flanges 9 can be removed over a certain length, as shown in dashed lines in FIG. Since the terminal block can also be attached with its parts 8 from the side in the slots, and parts 8 need not be pushed in completely from one end of a slot.
The tension bolt head can be provided with a hexagonal hole 14. With a special tool or with a special screwdriver with a hexagonal ball end, the train bolt can now be rotated from a location on the side of the cross strut, the hole 11 gives access to the bolt head. The straight axis of the screwdriver can have the status S-S, so that the straight axis of the tension bolt and the straight axis of the screwdriver form an obtuse angle with one another.
Since the support block can rotate to some extent with its stub shafts 21 around an axis perpendicular to the draw bolt axis and this rotation is possible because the hole 16 is slightly larger than the stem of the bolt, the draw bolt head lies flat on the relevant flat side of the support block. The Klenun block, which can be moved with its dovetail parts in the slots of the longitudinal strut,
actually represents a screw hole 12 that can be displaced on the longitudinal strut, and with this displaceable screw hole a cross strut can now be clamped at any point on the wall of the longitudinal strut without damaging or changing this wall, if at least one dispenses with the use of a centering bolt.
This clamping device has the advantage that it does not protrude anywhere beyond the outer profile of the struts in question or their imaginary extension, and that it can be tightened and released from a location on the side of the struts, using the same hole that is used to attach the tension bolt is also used to tighten or loosen this bolt. The outer profile of the struts of FIGS. 1 and 2 is z. B.
rectangular and indicated with 27, 28, 29 and 30 in Figure 7. The outer profile is understood to mean the outer profile that you get when you think the slots 3 are filled.
Fig. 10 shows another profile shape which can be used for the struts. The outer profile is also rectangular, indicated by 327, 328, 329 and 330. The profile here has a web 332 which has thickenings 324. The slots 303 again have flanges 109, 309. The thickenings 324 are used to drill a hole therein as necessary, in which the stem of the draw bolt can be attached. This hole mostly has the direction of the cross brace itself; Fig. 17 also shows a similar profile with a hole in the thickening.
11 and 12 show a connection of two profile struts according to FIG. 10. Here, 301 is the longitudinal strut, 302 the transverse strut, 303 the slot, 305 the clamping block, which here lies entirely in the relevant slot and not over the outer profile of the Longitudinal strut protrudes, 306 the tension bolt, 307 the support block, which is crescent-shaped here, 308 are parts of the clamping block, which protrude and can hook behind the flanges 309 of the slot, 310 is the hole,
which is attached in the web of the cross brace and serves to bring in tension bolts and support blocks and to turn the tension bolt from the side of the cross brace, 312 is the screw-threaded hole in the clamping block, 313 is the tension bolt head with hexagonal hole 314, 316 is the hole in the support block, where the draw bolt is inserted and which is slightly larger than the diameter of the draw bolt shaft so that it can find its position.
Next, 322 is the web of the profile, 333 is a hole that is drilled into the web between the end face 341 and the hole 310 in order to be able to bring the stem of the tension bolt (see FIG. 28), 324 are the thickenings which are present in the web for this purpose because the web itself is too thin to drill said hole 323 in it.
When screwing in the tension bolt, the cross strut clamps with its end face 341 on the side wall of the longitudinal strut. The clamping block and handle of the tension bolt are completely hidden from view. The hole in the crescent-shaped support block is again slightly larger than the diameter of the draw bolt shaft, so that the support block can rotate a little again around an axis perpendicular to the axis of the tension bolt and the underside of the head of the tension bolt can lie flat against the flat side of the support block .
The tension bolt head is again provided with a hexagonal hole 314.
13, 14 and 15 show a special embodiment of the connection which can be used when the web 422 of the profile is not or only slightly thickened (424). Advantageously, a cylindrical support block 407 which is drilled through in the main axis direction and is provided with a saw notch 434 is now used. The hole 410 in the web for the purpose of introducing and rotating the tension bolt is now continued in the direction towards the end face of the cross strut by a narrower part 436, forming shoulders 437.
These shoulders form a curved surface or are slightly inclined towards each other, so that the support block can again rotate a little about an axis perpendicular to the axis of the tension bolt. The saw cut in the support block is somewhat wider than the thickness of the shoulders or the thickness of the parts 424, so that the shoulders can be made in the saw cut., The clamping block 405 'is here from; rectangular shape and so very simple. It lies entirely in the slot 403. The parts 408 of the terminal block clamp behind the flanges 409 when the clamp connection is tightened.
Here, too, the parts of the clamping connection are in the clamped-together state entirely within the outer profile of the struts, as FIG. 14 shows. The corners 415 are completely free again. The holes 410 and 436 can e.g. B. punched out when the web is thin enough.
FIGS. 15a, 15b, 15e show the cylindrical support block with saw notch 434.
16, 17, 18, 19 and 20 show strut profiles which are similar to the profile of FIG. 10. In FIGS. 16, 17 and 18, however, there is a channel 504 which is located in the bottom wall of the slot 503 is located and is used to be able to attach the handle of the draw bolt anywhere where necessary. It is therefore in agreement with the hole 333 in FIG. 12. The difference, however, is that the channel 540 is present from the start over the entire length of the strut and the hole 333 has to be drilled subsequently.
The channel 504 has a circular cross-section in the profiles shown. 19, 20, 21 and 22 there is a rectangular channel 604 in profile which has the same purpose as the round channel 504. However, the channel 604 is located behind the bottom wall of the slot 603 or behind several slots, as shown in FIG. 20 shows. When the connection is clamped together, the stem of the tension bolt 606 is also located in this channel 604. As FIG. 20 shows, the following can be present in a strut: the slots 603, the channels 604 and further cavities 638.
21 and 22 show an embodiment of the connection using two identical profile struts according to FIG. 19. This embodiment has many advantages and is preferred. Here 601 is the longitudinal strut, 604 the channel for the purpose of accommodating the draw bolt shaft, 605 the clamping block, which here again has the simple rectangular shape and lies entirely in the slots 603, 612 is the screw hole in the clamping block, 606 is the draw bolt with a screw-threaded shaft, 607 is the support block,
which again has the crescent shape, but here is provided with protruding edges 617, which encompass the web walls and with the advantage that the support block can be attached more easily and sits better in its place.
A comparison of the profiles of Fig. 17 and Fig. 19 'also shows the following: In a strut with a profile according to Fig. 17, the use of a support block is not absolutely necessary, since the underside of the tension bolt head can have enough contact surface on the circular ring surface 547 (Fig.17), which is located around the channel 504.
In the case of a strut with a profile according to FIG. 19, however, the underside of the tension bolt head rests on the parallel surfaces 648 and is therefore not supported all around. The support block now represents a bridge from one surface 648 to the other over the channel 604.
The shown support block 607 (FIG. 22) has edges 617 which reach into the webs 648. Nevertheless, the support block is still within the profile dimensions, so that the corners 615 (FIG. 22) remain free. It is also possible to attach the edges close to and adjacent to the inner wall of the two webs 648, so that the support block can be made somewhat shorter and also remains within the profile dimensions itself.
The length of the support block then need not be greater than the distance between the outer walls of the webs 648, so no greater than the width of the channel 604 plus the thickness of the two webs 648. In this case, all parts belonging to the clamping device are within the Strut external dimensions of the clamped profiles used.
21 and 22 is the bolt head 613 with a hexagonal hole 614, 611 are the holes in the walls for the purpose of attaching and rotating the tension bolt, the wall portion 626 of these holes being rounded and semicircular on the side facing the end face 641 so that the support block can rotate again to some extent around an axis perpendicular to the bolt axis. The hole in the support block is again slightly larger than the diameter of the draw bolt handle so that there is room for play.
When clamped together, the clamping block and handle of the tension bolt are completely hidden from view. The corners 615 are completely free. All parts of the clamp connection are located within the outer profile of the two struts. The connection is easy to screw on and easy to loosen. The connection is not changed as a result of screwing or loosening. The connection can be adjusted or moved by any measure, since the struts are in no way damaged or changed as a result of the jamming. The outer profile is rectangular, 627, 628, 629 and 630.
The head of the tension bolt has a hexagonal hole 614, the major axis of which is in the same direction as the major axis of the tension bolt. The connection has two clamping devices, each with a clamping block, a tension bolt and a support block.
FIG. 23 shows a connection corresponding to the connection of FIGS. 21 and 22. The difference is that the hole 711 is now rectangular i.e. H. the wall 725 of the hole 711 facing the end face of the cross strut is now flat, and the support block 707 is also flat and here has a rectangular shape. If this support block has no protruding edges 717 or such edges are in contact with the inside of the walls 748 and are therefore in the channel 604,
it does not need to grasp over the walls 748 of the cross brace or stand beyond it and all parts of the clamp connection can be clamped together. are within the strut dimensions of the pro filstreben.
24 shows a section through a clamping block, the axis BB of the screw hole being able to form any angle with the surfaces CC, which are against the inside of the flanges 109, 609, 909 of the strut slots should create. The angle A is drawn here 45. With this clamping block, as shown in FIG. 28, a strut 802 can be clamped as a cross strut at any angle onto another strut 501, 801, 501 ', 801'.
In FIG. 28, struts 501, 501 ', 801 are used, with a profile according to FIG. 17. One strut 501' is a transverse strut which is at right angles to the other strut 501 as a longitudinal strut. Both struts 501 and 501 'serve as longitudinal struts for a third strut 802, which is clamped with its end face parts onto these two struts.
The strut 802 can be grasped here as a diagonal bar of a framework, and the front side has two bevels from 845 at 45 with its longitudinal direction. In this example, the hole 822 is designed on one side with a flat wall 825 and on the other side with a rounded wall. The bolt head presses against the flat annular wall 847 without a supporting block, see also FIG. 17, according to 547.
The connection has two clamping devices each with a tension bolt 806 and a clamping block 805, only one of which is drawn. Angle A is 45 in this example. Since the channel 504 is already present in the strut from the start, only the holes 810 or similar holes need to be made at the head end of the strut 802.
FIG. 25 shows a terminal block, of which two opposite corners 943 are rounded. 26 shows how this clamping block comes to rest in a slot in a strut. The roundings are used to make it easier to insert the terminal block into a slot from the side, without having to bring it into the slot from one end of the strut and push it through. The removal of parts of the flanges 42, 542, as indicated by dashed lines in FIG. 7, is thus avoided.
To attach a terminal block with rounded corners, such as 905, from the side in a slot, it is first placed with its longitudinal direction in the longitudinal direction of the slot and then brought into the slot in this position.
Then it is rotated 90 about its axis, namely clockwise according to FIGS. 25 and 26, so that the parts 908 come to lie behind the flanges 909 and, when tightening, hook the tension bolt behind the parts 909, as shown in FIG. 26 and 27 show. The rounded corners 943 and 944 do not prevent rotation by 90. The rounded end surfaces 845 of the head of the cross strut 502 rest on the side walls of the longitudinal struts 501 or 501 '.
Between the top surface 846 and the clamping block and also between the top surface 846 and the side walls of the longitudinal struts, however, there is still a free space D. In this embodiment, the parts of the clamp connection are not entirely within the strut dimensions of the struts clamped on one another, but they are within the outer profiles and their imaginary extensions.
The rounding of the opposite corners of a terminal block is also possible with other executions of the terminal block, such. B. in the terminal block 605 (Fig. 21) or 405 (Fig. 13).
The clamping of a cross brace or diagonal brace at any angle, as shown in FIG. 28, can also be carried out in other embodiments of the connection, such as, for. B. with the connections according to Fig. 21 or 23. The screw hole 612 is then also brought at an angle A in the rectangular terminal block or there are terminal blocks according to Fig. 24 used.
