Description
Device for covering ceiling holes in living rooms, with a rosette If a chandelier is installed from living room ceilings and no longer replaced, it is desirable for aesthetic reasons to cover the hole, that is, the execution point of the wires with a rosette. The previous rosettes have screw holes on an edge flange so that the fastening screws for the rosette remain visible.
According to the present invention it is proposed that the rosette is designed as a shell which has a hub directed towards the ceiling in the center, with which it is connected to a bracket screwed to the ceiling as a carrier, the rosette shell completely covering the bracket mentioned and lies with its edge on the ceiling surface.
Embodiments of the inventive device are shown in the drawing.
According to Fig. 1 (axial section) and Fig. 2 (plan) it is provided that a bracket 1 is screwed to the ceiling surface with the help of two screws 2 on both sides of the ceiling hole 3, a threaded hole is provided in the apex of the bracket, in which the Threaded part of a. in the hub 4 of a rosette shell 5 inserted hub bolt 6 is screwed.
The rosette 5 and the bracket 1 serving as a support for the latter are therefore connected to one another by means of the bolt 6. The hub 4 is located in the center of the rosette formed as a shell and is directed towards the ceiling. According to FIG. 3, the bracket 11 is screwed tightly in the center of the ceiling hole 3 by means of a long screw 12. The hub 14 of the rosette shell 15 is provided with a threaded hole for screwing onto a threaded sleeve 16 projecting from the top of the bracket.
A plug connection can also be provided between the bracket and the rosette hub. It is essential that the rosette shell completely covers the support bracket and its connection point with the ceiling and that its edge rests smoothly on the ceiling surface, as can be seen from FIGS. 1 and 3.
