High pressure pump The present invention relates to a high pressure pump for liquid, preferably oil-containing pressure medium.
In known pump devices, a piston is set in motion via an eccentric shaft and a connecting rod. The connecting rod and the piston are rotatably connected to one another via a joint head.
The present invention avoids the use of a fixed connection between the connecting rod and piston and is characterized in that a connecting rod articulated on the eccentric is in contact with a roller which engages the pressure piston, at least one spring being provided which pushes the piston over the roller keeps in operative connection with the connecting rod and wherein the piston and connecting rod limit an approximately cylindrical recess whose diameter corresponds to that of the roller and in which the roller is arranged.
The drawing shows an exemplary embodiment. It shows: Fig. 1 is a cross section through a high pressure pump, Fig. 2 is a section along the line II-1I in Fig. 1, Fig. 3 is a section through a pressure valve along the line III- III in Fig. 1, Fig. 4 shows a section through a suction valve along the line IV-IV in Fig. 1,
FIG. 5 shows a section along the line V-V in FIG. 4.
In a drive support 1 (Fig. 1) superimposed on Na dellagern 2, an eccentric shaft 3, which is driven via a V-belt pulley 4. An eccentric 5 is provided on the shaft 3. A connecting rod 7 is in operative connection with the eccentric 5 via a needle bearing 6. The connecting rod 7 slides in a slot 8 in the drive support 1.
An approximately semicircular recess 9 (FIG. 2), in which a roller 10 is mounted, is arranged on the connecting rod 7. A piston 11 is also provided with an approximately semicircular recess 12 and is thus supported on the roller 10. The diameter of the overall recess 9, 12 delimited by parts 7 and 11 is equal to the diameter of the roller 11.
In a bore 15 of the drive support 1, a cylinder 13 is inserted, in the bore 14 of which the piston 11 slides. The piston 11 is provided below with a part 16 of vermin changed diameter, which is guided in the cylinder 13 and emerges from the same. The bore 14 and the piston part 16 delimit an annular space which represents the working space 34 of the pump. The lower end of the piston part 16 is supported on a spring plate 17.
A compression spring 18 presses on the spring plate 17 and is supported in a spring guide bush 19. The spring guide bushing 19 has a bore 36 through which: Leak oil can escape. The bore 36 can be connected to the pressure medium reservoir on the suction side.
The sleeve 19 is screwed together with the cylinder 13 and the drive support 1 to form a unit; these parts form the actual pump housing.
The cylinder bore 14 is connected via two connections or valves on the one hand on the suction side with a pressure medium reservoir and on the other hand on the pressure side with one or more consumers.
On the suction side, a slot 20 (FIG. 4) opens into the cylinder bore 14. A ball 22 slides into the milled cutouts 21 delimiting the stroke in such a way that it can close a bore 23 of a teat 24 screwed into the cylinder 13. A bore 25 is connected to the cylinder bore 14 on the pressure side. A pressure nipple 26 is screwed into the cylinder 13. In a bore 27 of the pressure nipple 26, a ball 28 slides, which is pressed by a spring 29 against the bore 25 and closes the same.
Millings 30 (FIG. 3) are arranged around the ball 28 in the pressure nipple 26, which allow the pressure to flow through when the bore 25 is open.
The piston 11 is provided with a bore 31, which is on the one hand through a transverse bore 32 and an annular groove. 35 with the cylinder bore 14 and on the other hand with a lubricating groove 33 is in communication. The lubrication groove 33 lies in the recess 12 of the piston 11 and is used to lubricate the roller 10. The spring plate 17 closes the bore 31 downwards: The mode of operation of the explained pumping device is as follows: The eccentric shaft 3 is driven by an electric motor, possibly below Interposition of a transmission, set in rotation via the V-belt pulley 4.
The connecting rod 7 thereby receives a vibration, the component of which we moving in the direction of the piston axis is transmitted via the roller 10 to the piston 11. The compression spring 18 presses on the spring plate 17 on the piston 11 and keeps it in operative connection with the roller 10 and thereby the roller 10 with the connecting rod 7. The upward movement of the piston 11 creates a negative pressure in the cylinder chamber 34, causing the ball 22 against . the space 34 is sucked and thus clears the way for the entry of pressure medium through the suction nipple 24. The ball 28 closes the bore 25 during this period.
When the piston 11 is lowered, pressure arises in the cylinder chamber 34, which firstly causes the borehole 23 to be closed by the ball 22 and, secondly, to the opening of the pressure side by the ball 28.
With this device it is possible to generate very high pressures. Pressure medium is therefore pressed upward from the space 24 between the wall of the cylinder bore 14 and the piston 11. If the pump is used for oil-containing pressure medium, this pressed-through pressure medium results in a pressure medium film for good lubrication of the piston 11. The excess oil is collected in the annular groove 35 of the piston 11 and passed through the transverse bore 32 into the bore 31.
If it is sufficiently filled, the pressure medium enters the lubrication groove 33 and lubricates the roller 10 or the recesses 9 and 12.
The pressures that can be generated by the pump described are in the order of magnitude of 700-1000 atmospheres. The explained design of the power transmission means between the piston and the connecting rod makes it possible to carry the forces generated by these high pressures without difficulty. Due to the practical arrangement of the suction valve in the immediate vicinity of the cylinder working space, losses in the promotion due to dead volume are reduced and maximum performance is achieved.
