Description

Anti-slip device The present invention relates to a non-slip device intended to be mounted on the tires of motor vehicles, comprising two longitudinal cables joined by transverse cables.

This device is characterized by metal spiral elements slidably mounted on said transverse cables.

The accompanying drawing represents, by way of example, an embodiment of the object of the present invention.

Fig. 1 is a partial view thereof showing the device mounted on a tire.

Fig. 2 is a partial view on a larger scale in section along II-II of FIG. 1.

Fig. 3 is a perspective view on an even larger scale of a detail of FIG. 1.

The device shown in the drawing comprises two longitudinal cables 1 joined by cables. trans versals 2 which are fixed there by means of lugs 3. The cables 2 are covered with a winding of metal wire 4 on which are mounted in a sliding manner spiral elements 5 of larger diameter than the winding 4, intended to be distributed over its entire length. The ends of. cables 1 are provided with a tab pierced with a buttonhole 7 and the other with a series of stop members 8 capable of engaging in the rounded part 9 of the niere button 7 and of resting against the edges of the slot 10 of the buttonhole, the end of which is bent at right angles so as to avoid any deformation of the other end of the cable.

2. CLAIM Anti-slip device intended to be mounted on the tires of motor vehicles, comprising two longitudinal cables joined together by transverse cables, characterized by metal spiral elements slidably mounted on said transverse cables. SUB-CLAIMS 1. Device according to claim, characterized in that said transverse cables are covered over their entire length with a coil of metal wire which is therefore interposed between the cable itself and said elements. spiral. 2. Device according to claim, characterized in that the ends of the longitudinal cables are provided one with a tab pierced with a buttonhole and the other with a series of stop members capable of engaging in the part. rounded buttonhole and rest against the edges of the slot which extends said rounded part.
