Description
Dispositif permettant d'immobiliser une pièce destinée à pivoter. La présente invention a pour objet un dispositif permettant ,d'immobiliser une pièce destinée .à pivoter, telle qu'un contrevent, se lon la revendication du brevet principal, ca ractérisé en ce .que les deux extrémités du frein à ruban comportent chacune un prolon gement destiné à prendre appui contre l'élé ment circulaire fixe,
ledit levier solidaire -de ladite pièce actionnant l'extrémité du frein susceptible de se déplacer, par l'intermédiaire d'une pièce cylindrique munie -d'un tenon destiné à coulisser dans une rainure que pos sède un organe cylindrique creux solidaire de ladite pièce.
Le dessin annexé montre, à titre d'exem ple, une forme -d'exécution du dispositif fai sant l'objet @de l'invention.
La fig. 1 est une vue en élévation d'un contrevent muni de cette forme d'exécution du dispositif; La fig. 2 est une vue en coupe suivant I-I -de la fig. 1.
Le dispositif représenté est adapté .à un contrevent 1; il comprend un frein 2 consti- tué par un ruban métallique dont une des extrémités 3 est, par l'intermédiaire d'une tige 16, rendue solidaire dudit contrevent, et dont l'autre extrémité 4 est susceptible d'être déplacée au moyen d'un levier 15 soli daire du contrevent 1, par l'intermédiaire d'une pièce cylindrique 5,
lorsqu'il s'agit de serrer ou de desserrer le frein 2 autour -d'un élément circulaire fixe @6 solidaire cle la tête 7 d'un gond 8.
Les extrémités @ et 4 comportent des pro longements 9 et 10 !susceptibles de prendre appui contre l'élément 6, ces prolongements étant placés en regard.
La pièce cylindrique 5 est munie d'un tenon 11 destiné à coulisser dans une rainure 12 que possède un organe cylindrique creux 1,3 .solidarisé, par l'intermédiaire d'un flas que 14, avec le contrevent 1.
Pour -immobiliser ce dernier, le disposi tif représenté fonctionne comme suit: La pièce 5 est actionnée rotativement .à l'aide du levier 15 et pénètre, du fait du dé placement -du tenon <B>Il</B> dans la rainure l2, plus avant dans l'organe 13, et par suite dé place l'extrémité 4 -du ruban métallique qui serre alors l'élément 6,
le prolongement 10 étant également presé contre celui-ci, et guidé par le prolongement 9.
Pour libérer le contrevent 1, le levier 15 est actionné rotativement en sens inverse du cas précédent, et la pièce 5, du fait du dépla cement du tenon 11, est entraînée dans le sens de la flèche 17, en sorte que l'extrémité 4 du ruban métallique vient en 4', et ne fait plus pression, ainsi que le prolongement 10, contre l'élément 6.

The present invention relates to a device for immobilizing a part intended .to pivot, such as a brace, according to the claim of the main patent, ca ractérisé in that the two ends of the band brake each comprise a extension intended to rest against the fixed circular element,
said lever integral with said part actuating the end of the brake capable of moving, via a cylindrical part provided with a tenon intended to slide in a groove pos sed by a hollow cylindrical member integral with said part .
The appended drawing shows, by way of example, one embodiment of the device making the object @de the invention.
Fig. 1 is an elevational view of a brace provided with this embodiment of the device; Fig. 2 is a sectional view along I-I -of FIG. 1.
The device shown is adapted .à a brace 1; it comprises a brake 2 constituted by a metal strip, one of the ends 3 of which is, by means of a rod 16, made integral with said brace, and of which the other end 4 is capable of being moved by means of 'a lever 15 integral with the brace 1, via a cylindrical part 5,
when it comes to tightening or releasing the brake 2 around a fixed circular element @ 6 secured to the head 7 of a hinge 8.
The ends @ and 4 comprise protrusions 9 and 10! Capable of bearing against the element 6, these extensions being placed opposite.
The cylindrical part 5 is provided with a tenon 11 intended to slide in a groove 12 which has a hollow cylindrical member 1,3 .solidarised, by means of a flange 14, with the brace 1.
In order to immobilize the latter, the device shown operates as follows: The part 5 is actuated in a rotary fashion using the lever 15 and, due to the displacement of the tenon <B> Il </B>, penetrates into the groove l2, further into the member 13, and consequently moves the end 4 of the metal tape which then tightens the element 6,
the extension 10 also being pressed against it, and guided by the extension 9.
To release the brace 1, the lever 15 is rotated in the opposite direction to the previous case, and the part 5, due to the displacement of the tenon 11, is driven in the direction of arrow 17, so that the end 4 metal tape comes in 4 ', and no longer presses, as well as the extension 10, against element 6.
