Fig. 2 lässt das Schaltschema erkennen.
Switching device on a sewing machine with a predetermined work sequence The invention relates to a switching device on a sewing machine with a predetermined work sequence, in which the switching processes occurring during the course of a work cycle are to be triggered by several switching levers.
Such sewing machines, in which the switching levers are advantageously under the action of return springs, are z. B. bartack sewing machines, button sewing machines and buttonhole sewing machines. According to the patent claim of the main patent, each of these shift levers is assigned an electromagnet and a single control switch with a number of switch positions corresponding to the number of magnets to be controlled is used to control all the electromagnets from the person operating the sewing machine.
The purpose of the invention is to improve and supplement this Schalteinrich device. In particular, it should be ensured that the function-related time sequence of the individual switching processes is adhered to. In order to be able to precisely determine this chronological sequence of the switching processes triggered by the control switch, according to the invention, time-delaying switching means are provided in the circuit of the electromagnets for delaying the further switching process or switching processes following the first immediately triggered switching process.
An exemplary embodiment of the invention is shown in the drawing. 1 shows a backtack sewing machine equipped with the switching device in a schematic representation, FIG. 2 shows the electrical circuit diagram of the switching device and the drive of the machine.
1 denotes the bartack sewing machine, which is equipped in the usual way with a control disk 2 for the cycle of movement of the non-visible bar clamp foot and the fabric support plate and with a control disk 3 for the actuating lever 4 of the thread cutting device.
The lever 5 with the chain hoist 6 is used to raise the spring-pressurized bolt clamp foot. The lever 7 transmits the movement taken from the control disk 3 to the actuating lever 4 of the thread trimming device and is connected at the upper end by the articulation piece 8 to the lever 5, so that when the lever 5 is operated by the chain train 6, the bolt clamp foot lifts, at the same time the thread trimmer is operated.
During the sewing process, the actuation of the thread trimmer and the lifting of the bolt clamp foot is prevented by a corresponding shaping of the curves of the control disk 3. The shift and brake lever 9 is actuated by the engaging lever 10 with the chain hoist 11. To drive the bar machine 1, a continuously rotating motor 12 is mounted under the table plate 13, which is connected by means of the belt 14 to the non-visible blank disk of the bar machine.
Through the belt guide 15 firmly connected to the shift lever 9, the belt 14 is transferred to the solid pulley 16 when actuating the switch lever 10 and thus the locking machine 1 is set in motion. With the switch 17, the motor 12 and the switching device are connected to voltage.
The switching device consists of a device that supplies DC voltage rectifier 18, which can be mounted in a switch box under the table plate 13 at any point, and the electromagnets 19 and 20, which are also arranged under the table top 13 and their armature with the chain hoists 6 and 11 are connected.
An immovable footrest 22 is provided on the frame 21, in which a control switch 23 is installed. A safety switch 24 is also arranged in the pivoting range of the switching and brake lever 9 of the bartacking machine 1.
Fig. 2 shows the circuit diagram. From terminals 25 and 26 in the motor lead, AC voltage is applied to terminals 27 and 28 of the rectifier 18. A terminal 29 of the rectifier 18 provides the positive pole and a terminal 30 the negative pole. The positive pole is led from the terminal 29 via a contact terminal 31, a switching contact 32 of the safety switch 24 and a contact terminal 33 to a contact terminal 34 of the control switch 23. When the machine is at a standstill, the fuse switch 24 is closed.
The contact terminal 34 of the control switch 23 is assigned a contact terminal 36. On this is under spring pressure a switch contact 38, which bridges contact terminals 35 and 37 when the control switch 23 is actuated.
The electromagnet 19 receives the positive pole from the contact terminal 36 of the control switch 23 to a terminal 39 and the negative pole from the terminal 30 of the rectifier 18 to a terminal 40. A terminal 41 of the electromagnet 20 is via a contact terminal 43, a switching contact 44 and a contact terminal 45 of a relay 46 is connected to the terminal 29 of the rectifier 18 and a terminal 42 is connected to the terminal 30 of the rectifier 18.
The relay 46 has further contact terminals 47-48 and 49-50, to which switching contacts 51 and 52 are assigned. While the switching contacts 44 and 51 are lifted from the contact terminals 43-45 and 47-48 when the relay 46 is not energized, the switching contact 52 bridges its contact terminals 49-50. A coil 53 of the relay 46 has two Klem men 54 and 55, which are supplied with low voltage, in the following way: From the network terminals 25 and 26, the voltage of the primary winding of a transformer 56 is supplied. From the secondary winding of the transformer 56, a line leads via a rectifier 57 to the contact terminal 35 of the control switch 23 and another line leads directly to the terminal 54 of the relay coil 53.
When the contact terminals 35 and 37 are bridged by the switching contact 38, the relay 46 receives voltage, since the contact terminal 37 of the control switch 23 is connected to the terminal 55 of the relay coil 53 via a charging resistor 58. In parallel with the coil 53, a capacitor 59 is placed on the switching contact 52 of the relay 46, which stood together with the opponent 58 a delay of the relay 46 acts. Furthermore, a discharge resistor 60 is provided for the capacitor 59, which is placed in series with the capacitor 59 through the switching contact 51 when the relay 46 is picked up.
The switching device works as follows: The motor 12 and the switching device are energized by the switch 17. Via the closed contacts 32 and 38 of the safety switch 24 and the control switch 23, the electromagnet 19 receives voltage and attracts its armature, whereby the lever 5 connected to the chain 6 raises the bolt clamp base. Since the bartacking machine 1 is ready for operation and the sewing material can be fed.
If the control switch 23 is now pressed, the circuit of the electromagnet 19 is interrupted when the contact clamps 34 and 36 are opened and the bolt clamp base lowers under the action of its return spring on the material to be sewn. Next, the con tact terminals 35 and 37 are bridged by the switching contact 38, whereby the coil 53 of the relay 46 receives voltage. The relay 46 will not respond immediately, since the coil 53 of the capacitor 59 is connected in parallel.
This should once be given the possibility that if the stitch position is not correct, the bolt clamp foot can be raised again, namely by releasing the control switch 23, whereby the switching contacts 35 and 37 are opened and the switching contacts 34 and 36 are closed again and on the other hand that at very quickly pressing the control switch 23, the bolt clamp foot has actually lowered onto the material before the machine is switched on. If the relay 46 finally picks up after the contacts 35 and 37 have been closed, the electromagnet 20 is connected to voltage via the switching contact 44, which actuates the switch-on lever 10 of the machine.
This in turn lifts the shift and brake lever 9, which with the belt guide 15 attached to it transfers the belt 14 to the full disk 16 and thus sets the machine in motion.
Simultaneously with the release of the switching and brake lever 9, the contact 32 of the safety switch 24 is raised and thus opens the circuit of the electromagnet 19. This prevents the electromagnet 19 from being energized again when the control switch 23 is released after switching on is and under the lever 5, Ge joint 8 and lever 7 exerts a pressure on the control disk 3, which would lead to their rapid wear and tear and a higher expenditure of force on the motor 12. When the relay 46 is activated, the capacitor 59 is switched off by the switch contact 52 and stood by the switch contact 51 in series with the opposing position 60, over which the capacitor 59 can now discharge to be ready for the next switching operation.
After the automatic sewing process has ended, the bartacking machine 1 is automatically shut down. At the same time, the contact 32 of the safety switch 24 is closed, the electromagnet 19 attracts, lifts the bolt clamp foot and actuates the thread trimming device via the joint piece 8 and the lever 7. The machine is now ready for the next sewing process.
By previously releasing the control switch 23, the relay coil 53 is disconnected from the voltage, whereby the switching contacts 44, 51 and 52 return to the position shown in FIG.
