Construction element Prefabricated construction elements are already known which can be used, for example, as a partition and consist of a frame with slats assembled together and separated. by air spaces, a framework covered on at least one of its faces with a coating, for example plaster.
The present invention relates to such a construction element characterized in that one of the edges of each blade is cut in a zigzag pattern, the projections and the re-entrant portions of which are complementary.
A rectangular strip can make it possible to simultaneously obtain two blades by simple cutting, the cost price of the blade being reduced to minimum um. Furthermore, the air spaces then communicate with each other, which allows total air circulation and consequently improves sound and thermal insulation.
The slats can be provided with transverse notches, which allows easy assembly of the slats. They can also be welded to each other.
On the other hand, the edge of the blade not cut in a zigzag way may have a rim at right angles. This rim ensures good adhesion of the coating to the saturated bone.
The appended drawing represents, by way of example, an embodiment of an element according to the invention.
Fig. 1 is a sectional view of the element. Fig. 2 is a perspective view of a blade of the framework. Fig. 3 is a plan view, showing how two blades can be obtained from a single strip.
Fig. 4 is a perspective view of the mounted framework.
Fig. 5 is a sectional view showing how the element is made.
Fig. 6 is a view similar to FIG. 4 of a variant.
Fig. 7 is a perspective view of one of the transverse blades of the framework of FIG. 6.. The construction element shown comprises a framework formed of metal strips 1 which are provided with notches, transverse 2 extending substantially halfway up and assembled together in a square, as in the example shown,
or else in rectangle or in rhombus. One of the edges of each of the blades is cut out. zigzag and thus has projections 1a and re-entrant portions 1b, the shape of the latter being complementary to that of the projections 1a.
The notches 2 are formed at the top of the projections 1a; the other edge of the blade has a right angle rim 1c.
The blades are cut from metal strips, as shown in fig. 3, so that two blades are obtained simultaneously by simple cutting.
The framework is covered on both sides with plaster 3 or with mortar if it is desired to make a facade or a floor element. To make the element, the slats are assembled together to form the framework (fig. 4). Concrete 5 is poured on a flat surface 6 and one of the faces of the framework is dipped in plaster (fig. 5).
After setting this plaster, the element is turned over to soak the second face of the framework in a new layer of plaster.
In the embodiment of FIGS. 6 and 7, the framework is composed of longitudinal slats 7 having no notches, and of transverse slats 8, the ends of which are bent at right angles as indicated at 8a, and spot welded to the slats 7.
The slats 7 and 8 also have one of their longitudinal edges cut in a zigzag pattern, like the slats 1, the other edge comprising a straight angular edge.
The element described can serve as a partition or even as a wall, the exterior covering being able to receive an appropriate coating for bad weather, while the interior covering (mortar or plaster) serves as a finished element. Console fixings or frames can be provided on the metal slats before the framework is soaked.
