Dans ce mouvement le centre Q se déplace autour de O sur un cercle E de centre O et ayant pour rayon OQ. Quand le centre 62 se déplace sur le cercle E dans le sens de la flèche f, par exemple, le cercle primitif I\ se déplace à chaque tour en sens inverse d'un angle a = 2n/(n-1) ;
b) on obtient le même résultat quand le cercle primitif c roule sans glisser sur le cercle pri mitif I' ce dernier étant fixe. Dans ce cas, c'est le centre O qui se déplace sur le cercle de centre S2 ayant pour rayon OQ et le cercle primitif c avance, à chaque tour de son centre O, autour de S2 d'un angle (3 = 2x/n. Le cen tre w du cercle générateur y se déplace main tenant avec c et à la même vitesse angulaire ;
Method of machining conjugate gear members, in particular for machines known as capsulism The present invention relates to a method of machining conjugate gear members, in particular for machines called capsulism, such as motors, pumps. or compressors, gears comprising an internally toothed crown and an eccentric pin meshing with this crown and the number of teeth of which is at least one unit less than that of the crown, the profiles of the two toothings therefore being combined.
In the known gears, the profile of each tooth of the pinion is generally of the cycloid family, while the profile of each tooth of the crown comprises an active part, which comes into contact with the teeth of the pinion to ensure the capsulism and of which the profile is also of the cycloid family, and a passive part, the profile of which coincides with or outside the envelope of the teeth of the pinion.
The production of such pairs of gears by means of a forming tool does not make it possible to obtain a perfect part.
Machines with conjugated gears have been produced in which the teeth of the crown have a profile in a segment of a circle while the profile of the teeth of the pinion is a curve parallel to the epicy cloid described on this pinion by the center of said segment. . Until now, the machining of such pairs of conjugate graining has been carried out using shaping tools.
The present invention relates to a method of machining conjugate gear members, comprising an internally toothed crown having n teeth equally spaced and in profile in a segment of a circle, the axes of which are arranged on a common circle and a pinion eccentric with respect to the axis of this circle and having m teeth, m being at most equal to (n- 1), and whose tooth profile is a curve parallel to the epicycloid described on this pinion by the center of said segment and placed at a distance from this epicycloid equal to the radius of said segment,
method characterized in that it consists in machining the pinion by generating its profile in a blank using a cylindrical tool with a cutting diameter equal to that of said segment, the tool moving relative to the blank in such a way that assuming the axis of the blank and the center of said common circle to be fixed in space, the center of said segment moves on said common circle, the pinion blank being mounted eccentric with respect to the center of this circle by a distance equal to the eccentra tion of the crown wheel and pinion of the gear torque,
the angular speed of said displacement of the tool being at the angular speed of the rotation of the blank in the m / n ratio, and by the fact that the crown is machined in a blank.
The drawing represents, by way of examples, implementations of the invention. Fig. 1 schematically represents the generation of the toothing profile of a pinion, this profile being combined with that of a ring gear with a profile in a segment of a circle.
Fig. 2 schematically shows the machining of a pinion, of the type shown in FIG. 1, by milling with an eccentric divider plate.
Fig. 3 is a view similar to that of FIG. 2, the cutting being carried out by planetary milling cutter. Fig. 4 shows, in perspective, an assembly for machining a pinion, of the type illustrated in FIG. 1, by planetary spindle.
Fig. 5 shows a pair, toothed ring gear, pinion, the toothing of the crown of which is produced by cylindrical parts inserted in a housing.
Fig. 6 schematically shows the machining of the ring gear by cutting using a special tool pinion.
Fig. 1 represents the generation of the profile of the pinion with (h -1) teeth, 7 in the example, in the case where the generator curve of conjugation of the conjugate profiles is a generator circle y centered in w on a directing circle C itself centered on the center O of the pitch circle c of radius r of the crown with n teeth, 8 in the example.
Let Q be the center of the pitch circle I \ of the pinion of radius Q, and w that of the generator circle -y. The profile of the teeth of this pinion can be generated in three different ways: a) when the pitch circle I 'rolls without slipping inside the pitch circle c which remains fixed, the profile d of the toothing of the pinion is that of the curve tangent to the generating circle y.
In this movement the center Q moves around O on a circle E with center O and having for radius OQ. When the center 62 moves on the circle E in the direction of the arrow f, for example, the pitch circle I \ moves in each turn in the opposite direction by an angle a = 2n / (n-1);
b) the same result is obtained when the pitch circle c rolls without slipping on the primary circle I ', the latter being fixed. In this case, it is the center O which moves on the circle with center S2 having for radius OQ and the pitch circle c advances, at each turn from its center O, around S2 by an angle (3 = 2x / n The center w of the generating circle y moves hand-in-hand with c and at the same angular speed;
c) finally, the profile of the pinion can also be generated by rotating the pitch circles c and I 'around their respective centers, the circle I' rolling without sliding inside the circle c. The center of the generating circle y then moves on its trajectory C at the same angular speed as c.
The profile of each tooth of the pinion thus obtained which comes into contact with the segment of the circle of the profile of the teeth of the crown is formed by a curve parallel to the epicycloid described on this pinion by the center of the generating circle or center of said segment and defined by the pitch circles of the crown and pinion and the radius of the directing circle or common circle on which the centers of the segments of circles are placed, the distance existing between this epicycloid and this parallel curve being equal to the radius of the circle generator or radius of said segment.
It is therefore possible to machine the pinion by generating this profile, which makes it possible to obtain the precision necessary for correct operation of the gearing, the generator circle being materialized there by a cylindrical tool of the same diameter. Any of the three modes of operation discussed above can be produced on the machining machine between the tool and the workpiece.
Fig. 2 shows machining, the generation being carried out as described above under a). The workpiece 1 is mounted on a special eccentric 2 divider plate with center t2 mounted with respect to its axis of rotation O with an eccentricity equal to O62 and which gives it the movement of the pinion in the operating mode examined in a) . The divider plate being stationary, the assembly is moved along the X Y axis towards the cutter 3 with a diameter equal to the diameter of the generator circle y, until the distance Oco is equal to the radius of the direction circle C.
Once immobilized at the desired distance, the eccentric plate is set in motion at speed V in the direction of arrow F. As indicated under a), on each revolution of eccentric 2, thanks to the special divider, the part 1 which rotates at speed V / (n-1) in the direction -F, opposite to the arrow F, shifts in the opposite direction to this arrow by an angle corresponding to a complete circular step. It is therefore sufficient to make as many eccentric turns as there are teeth to completely generate the profile of part 1.
The eccentric divider plate has an interchangeable gear train that allows any gear ratio and any amount of eccentricity to be obtained. However, in order to reduce the machining errors due to the backlash of the gears, in the case of series machining, it is advantageous to construct a divider plate for a given part by choosing the combination which includes a minimum number of graining.
Instead of carrying out cutting using a milling cutter, as shown in fig. 2, the pinion cutting can be performed on a machine, such as Maag (registered trademark), to cut gears with an eccentric divider plate, the cutter being replaced by a cylindrical spindle fixed on the tool head of the machine instead and places the rack tools that usually equip it. The Maag machine has gearboxes allowing to obtain a definite movement and speed between the tool head and the machine plate.
Fig. 3 shows another machining, the generation being carried out as described above under c). In this case, the cutter 13, materializing the generator circle y, is mounted on a pivoting arm 14 along Fi at speed V around the center O while moving on the director circle C of radius R. The part 11 to be cut turns around from the following center Q Fi at the speed Vn / (n-1). This machining requires a milling machine equipped with a rotary table whose speed is adjustable with respect to that of the head driving the milling arm.
According to fig. 4, the generation is carried out as described above under c), by means of a Maag type machine for cutting gears with a planetary spindle. The assembly is similar to that illustrated schematically in FIG. 3, the cutter 13 being replaced by a cylindrical spindle 23 having a suitable cutting angle and mounted on the head 24 for cutting the internal toothed crowns of the machine. The spindle 23 moves alternately, following the arrow F2 and in the opposite direction, to ensure the cutting of the part 21.
Such machining has the advantage of using a conventional machine without special equipment. Only the tool is of a special kind but. it does not pose a delicate problem. However, it is essential to de-magnify the part to an approximate path before machine cutting.
Moreover, in practice, although the diagrams showing the various machining modes represent cuts starting from cylindrical parts, an approximate rough outline will be made using a barit and the part will be roughened. to the plot. This method of operation has the advantage of regulating the thickness of the metal to be removed and of using the cylindrical tool only for finishing.
In the different machining operations illustrated in fig. 2 to 4, the following remarks should be made 1 To carry out the size more quickly, it is possible, in all cases, to use several mills or several cylindrical spindles, arranged on a tool holder like the teeth of the crown; however, to facilitate passing dice, only a number of tools less than or equal to half the number of teeth of the crown is used.
2 To properly adjust the passes in the machining modes shown in fig. 3 and 4, the tool holder is arranged to allow the cutters or the spindles to be moved on the spoke.
Since it is possible to machine the pinion profile with precision in one of the above ways a), b), c), a pinion thus machined can be used as a guide cam of a reproducing machine.
In order to finish the pinions cut in one of the said ways with precision and to give them a good quality surface finish, the assemblies described are then fitted with grinding wheels of appropriate dimensions. By carrying out a stepped rectification, the deviations obtained after finishing are within the standard tolerances.
The curve of the toothing of the crown being a circle in its active part, several implementations of the method are possible. This is how in fig. 5, the ring gear comprises a casing 30 having portions of bores 31 in which cylindrical parts 32 are attached, the connecting curves 33 between two successive cylindrical parts 32 having as internal limit the envelope of the profile of the pinion 34.
In the case where the angular development of the generating circular arc forming an active part of the toothing of the crown does not allow an embodiment of the type of that of FIG. 5, the crown is machined by cutting a cylindrical part 35 using a tool pinion 36 having fewer teeth than the corresponding pinion, in order to allow, as well known in the technique of cutting crowns , the release of the pinion tool from the toothed teeth of the crown wheel. In the example shown, this tool pinion has five teeth for machining a crown of seven teeth. The tool pinion 36 is obtained by cutting, as indicated with regard to FIGS. 2 to 4.
In a pair of mating gear members of the kind specified above, the part defined is the pinion with (n -1) teeth which meshes with a crown with n internal teeth.
Geometrically speaking, the pinions with (n - 2), (n - 3), ... [n - (n - 2)] teeth capable of meshing with the crown with n internal teeth and the teeth of which derive from the curve parallel to a cycloid spike, defined previously, form a family of conjugate gears due to the fact that two curves con judged from a third are conjugated to each other. It is the same for each of these pinions, and crowns having one internal tooth more than the corresponding pinion. These sets of pin gnons and internally toothed rings form a family of mating gear members deriving from this curve parallel to an epicycloid.
In order to allow the definition of such gear members with internal or external teeth belonging to this family of curves conjugated by meshing and deriving from this curve parallel to an epicycloid, it is possible in a variant, after having machined a pinion to ( n -1) teeth as described, establish a rack-tool starting from this pinion.
We cut from this rack-tool, on the one hand, pinions having a number of teeth which is less than (n- 1), on the other hand, tool pinions comprising several teeth less than to the original pinion, these tool pinions. which can be used to machine in a blank, as indicated above, crowns intended to mesh with these pinions. and having one tooth more than each of them, or to slide on these sprockets and having the same number of teeth as them.
The first-tool rack is used as any rack-tool for cutting pinions.
