Description
Prefabricated facade panel The present invention relates to a prefabricated facade panel, characterized in that it consists of a concrete slab having vertical load-bearing ribs connected at their base by a horizontal rib.
To ensure thermal insulation, a plate of insulating material can be incorporated into the concrete slab during its pouring.
The panel preferably has at its upper part a recess, the wall of which forms a shuttering for a connecting chain, and its vertical edges are advantageously biased so that the juxta position of the panels forms recesses allowing the connections to be cast in place.
The interior face can be made with a traditional or prefabricated sound wall.
Provision can also be made for the insulation material to also provide the inner face; in this case it is possible not to have an air gap or to incorporate the interior and exterior face into a single plate.
The appended drawing represents, by way of example, an embodiment of a facade panel according to the invention. Fig. 1 is a perspective view. Fig. 2 is a vertical sectional view of a horizontal joint.
Fig. 3 is a horizontal sectional view of a vertical seal.
Fig. 4 is a view similar to FIG. 3 of a variant.
As shown in the drawing, the panel comprises a slab 1 forming one body with vertical load-bearing ribs 2, as well as with a horizontal rib 3 connecting the base of the vertical ribs. Between the ribs 2 is disposed a plastic plate 16, which is incorporated on the internal face of the slab 1. The internal face of the facade is produced by a light partition 17, prefabricated or not, for example of hollow brick, which is re covered with a coating 5, for example plaster. The outer facing may include any desired coating not shown.
The panel has at its upper part and on its internal face a recess 6 which allows, after the installation of a prefabricated floor element 7, to form a chain 8 to the upper part of the facade panels. The expensive plan panel can be on a frame or on the facade.
The panel has on its outer face a rebate 9 which allows a seal to be made with mortar 10, arranged in a baffle with respect to a mortar seal 11, the two seals being separated by a plastic strip 12.
The vertical edges of the panel are biased as seen in fig. 3 so that, when the panels are juxtaposed, vertical recesses are formed which allow the connections 13 to be cast in place, after gluing a plastic strip 14, in the bottom of the recess, which reinforces the seal tightness. On the internal face of these connections are arranged bricks or cellular concrete 18 or else a prefabricated plate 19 (FIG. 4) giving the internal face.
