Device for preventing the fluttering of gears in the gaps of their mating gears The invention relates to a device for preventing the fluttering of gears in the gaps of the mating gears meshing with them, especially in transmissions with three or more toothed wheel shafts.
Devices for preventing fluttering are known for gears with only two shafts and consist, for example, in that an auxiliary gear pair with the same transmission ratio is arranged axially next to the working gear pair and one auxiliary gear with the first> main gear is non-rotatable, the other auxiliary gear with the second main gear is rotatably connected and clamped ver in the direction of rotation.
In transmissions with more than two shafts and corresponding gear trains of three or more wheels, bracing devices of the type mentioned can also be used. But then all gear pairs of the gear train concerned must be equipped with such a device if not only the wheels of the first pair, but also those of the following pairs are to be braced against each other. This makes the system considerably more expensive. Under less severe operating conditions and favorable structural conditions, it is possible to manage with a bracing device of a single pair and the remaining gears of the train that are not braced.
But such favorable conditions do not always exist and, incidentally, can deteriorate after a certain period of operation due to advanced tooth flank and bearing wear, so that then there is still a flutter on the unstressed wheels of the gear train.
The invention wants to avoid the disadvantages outlined and is based on the idea of using only a single tensioning device for a transmission of three or more intermeshing wheels, while connecting the intermediate auxiliary wheels with those of the input and output shafts so that the tensioning forces are applied to the whole Extend the intermediate gear train and thus also the working gear train. The bracing device can be of a type known per se.
According to the invention, in addition to a transmission train of pairs of intermeshing work wheels, an auxiliary gear train with the same gear ratios as the transmission train is axially arranged with regard to the pairs of intermeshing wheels, the auxiliary gear or gears which connect or connect the input and output auxiliary gear with one another, is or are rotatably mounted on his or her shaft.
Furthermore, there are two on one of the shafts located and mutually rotatable gears ver against one another by means of a torsionally flexible coupling.
In the drawing, two Ausführungsbei are shown games of the subject invention. They show: Fig. 1, a three-shaft gear transmission in longitudinal section. FIG. 2 shows the clamping device belonging to this in longitudinal section and in a larger representation, FIG. 3 shows a cross section through the main toothed wheels of the first and second shaft according to the section line III-III of FIG.
Fig. 4 shows a cross section through one of the auxiliary gears of the first and second shaft and through the bracing device according to the section line IV-IV of Fig. 1, Fig. 5, a second three-shaft gear transmission in longitudinal section. The three gear shafts 1 to 3 are mounted in the housing g.
The first main or working gear 4 is keyed on the input shaft 1, the second working gear 5 meshing with it on the intermediate shaft 2 and the working gear 6 meshing with the gear 5 on the output shaft 3. Axially next to the main or work gears 4 and 5, the auxiliary gears 7 and 8 are arranged, which are rotatably mounted on their shafts 1 and 2 by means of bronze bushes, while the auxiliary gear 9 arranged next to the main gear 6 is firmly connected to this or with it forms a whole piece.
With regard to the pairs of meshing gears, the auxiliary gear train 7 to 9 has the same transmission ratios as the main gear train 4 to 6, but can have a finer or coarser tooth pitch than that.
The auxiliary gear 7 and the main gear 4 are braced against one another in the direction of rotation. The tensioning device provided for this purpose is shown larger in FIGS. It consists of the driver star 11, which is keyed onto the shaft 1, the cleat 12 belonging to the auxiliary gear 7 and the six helical springs 13, which are pretensioned between the driver arms 14 and the cleats 12.
The mode of operation of the tensioning device can easily be seen from FIGS. 1 to 4. Under the influence of the spring pressures namely the cleats 12 and therefore the auxiliary gear 7 want to evade clockwise (Fig. 4), while vice versa the driver arms 14 and thus the main gear 4 seek to evade counterclockwise (Fig. 3). These opposing twisting tendencies are transmitted to the wheels 6 and 9 via the auxiliary auxiliary wheel 8 loosely mounted on its shaft 2 and via the working gear 5.
The tension forces are thus balanced in a closed circle. The combing tooth flanks of the auxiliary and main gear pairs 7, 8 and 4, 5 now always come to rest against each other in the manner shown in FIGS. 3 and 4, while the counter flanks around the full tooth play s1, s. stay away from each other. The applied to the pinion 4 and 7 tooth pressures Z1 and Z2 are equal to each other, but directed opposite ge.
The same process takes place analogously in the other wheels of the two gear trains, so that when the clutch is clamped, the meshing tooth flanks of all working wheels are pressed against one another in one and the same direction of movement.
These effects of the tensioning device occur both in the unloaded and in the loaded state of the transmission. If the transmission runs under load, for example on the assumption that the shaft 1 is working as a drive shaft and is rotating counterclockwise with reference to FIGS. 3 and 4, the working gear 5 exerts a working pressure A 1 on the pinion 4, which runs in the same direction as the tension pressure Z1.
The resulting flank pressure Z is thus equal to the algebraic sum of the two pressures, or, expressed as an equation, Z - A1 + Z l. The tooth pressure component ZI remains constant because it corresponds to the pretensioning force of the springs 13. In contrast, the working pressure component A 1 can fluctuate periodically or intermittently, depending on the type of drive, or suffer variations of dynamic origin by fluctuations in the Winkelge speed occur in one of the work gears, which the other work wheels are unable to follow quickly enough.
Such fluctuations in the angular velocity occur, for example, when driven by internal combustion piston engines or when natural vibrations occur.
As long as the resulting flank pressures Z remain positive, the mutually working tooth flanks of the main gear train cannot become detached. But if it turns out to be negative values, the entire gear backlash s is traversed backwards for a short moment and the teeth of one of the working gears then flutter within the tooth gaps of the mating gears. In order to prevent such undesirable noise phenomena, the springs 13 of the tensioning device must be installed with sufficient bias.
In the second, game Ausführungsbei shown in Fig. 5, a two-stage transmission is shown. Here, too, the bracing of all gears is carried out by a single, common device. The first stage is formed by the pair of working wheels 4, 5, the second stage by the pair of wheels 17, 6, all of the working wheels being keyed onto their shafts. Axially next to these working wheels, the auxiliary wheel pairs 7, 8 and 16, 9 are arranged, the auxiliary wheels 7 and 9 with their main wheels and thus with the corresponding shafts are firmly connected, while the two auxiliary gear wheels 8 and 16 on the central shaft 2 rotatably ge are stored.
The tensioning device is arranged between the auxiliary gears 8 and 16, which are loosely mounted on the shaft 2. It shows the same structure as that of the first embodiment and be acts in an analogous manner a closed circle of bracing tooth pressures between the Ar beite- and the auxiliary gear train. The bracing torque goes here but also through the central shaft 2 or from the work gear 5 to the wheel 17 and be claimed this shaft to rotate.
The bracing principle shown can of course also be applied to gearboxes with more than just one intermediate shaft. Furthermore, the torsionally flexible coupling could be constructed from elements that allow the bracing forces to be changed arbitrarily during operation, for example according to Swiss patent no. 33902l.
