Lock for garage doors, magazine doors, etc. The present invention relates to a lock for garage doors, magazine doors, etc. with two opposing sliding bolts protruding from the lock case on opposite sides, a rotatable nut articulated with the sliding bolts by means of two links and a rotating nut Locking lever pivotable in two positions for locking and unlocking the nut, with which a handle is connected.
The lock according to the invention is distinguished from known locks of this type in that the sliding bolts in the interior of the lock case are provided with the nenden extensions as guide elements for the sliding bolts, which are provided on opposite sides of the nut, and each with at least one Spring ver see which latter are held from two opposite sides ent so resilient contact with the nut that they strive to keep the nut and sliding bolt in one of their two limit positions.
The design according to the invention aims not only. An excellent and practically wear-resistant guidance of the sliding bolt, but it should also prevent the nut from running out prematurely, since the spring forces acting on the nut from two opposite sides preferably cancel each other out and thereby relieve the bearing of the nut.
A further advantage according to an exemplary embodiment is then to be seen in the fact that the springs move with the nut when it is turned and do not, or at least only slightly, drag on the nut or on the detent body arranged on it. As a result, friction and wear and tear on these parts are reduced to a minimum.
The drawing shows two exemplary embodiments of the subject matter of the invention, namely: FIG. 1 shows a view of the lock according to the first embodiment with the lock case plate removed, in the open position, FIG. 2 shows a view of the lock with the lock case plate lifted off Closed position with a locked nut, Fig. 3 is a view of the lock with the lock case plate lifted after unlocking the nut with partially retracted sliding gear.
4 shows a section of the lock along the line IV-IV in FIG. 2, FIG. 5 shows a side view of the socket and FIG. 6 shows a partial view of a second embodiment of the lock with the lock case plate lifted in the closed position and with the socket unlocked.
The illustrated lock for garage doors, magazine doors etc. according to the embodiment according to FIGS. 1 to 5 has two sliding bolts 1, 2 which protrude from the lock case 5 on opposite sides and extensions la, 2a </ I > have seats that guide them inside the lock case. The extensions la, 2a serving as guide elements for the sliding bolts are articulated to the rotatable nut 4 by two links 15, so that they can be moved in opposite directions with respect to each other.
The sliding bolt extensions la, 2a are also guided past the follower 4 on opposite sides and are each provided with at least one leaf spring 5, 6, which ends in recesses 1b, 2b </ I> of the sliding bolt extensions la, 2a are held and lie with their central part on a square 4a arranged coaxially to the axis of rotation of the nut 4 on this.
8 is a pivotable about an axis 7, by a bolt 17 engaging in a slot of the lock case in its swing area be limited locking lever, which by means of a cam 9b of the cylinder 9a of a mortise lock 9 arranged in the lock case is provided with a stop 13a Locking lever 13 is pivotable.
The shut-off lever 8 is arranged in the space between the mortise lock 9 and the socket 4 and engages the locking lever 13 with its arm 8 a facing away from the socket 4. It is pressed into its locking position by a spring 18 and can be pivoted into its release position by appropriate actuation of the plug lock 9, 9a against the action of this spring via the locking lever 13, as can be seen from FIG.
In the blocking position, the shut-off lever 8 interacts with a stop 16 of the nut 4 in such a way that it is impossible to turn the nut in the opening direction (see position in FIG. 2). In the release position of the shut-off lever 8 (FIG. 3), the nut can be rotated by 90 degrees in the region of a recess 4b provided on its circumference, in which a stud bolt 12 anchored in the central part of the lock case engages, such that in one end position the sliding bolts are in the closed position and in the other end position in the open position.
The stud bolt 12 also serves in the same way as the stud bolts 10 which are arranged in the corners of the lock case in the usual way for fastening the lock case shield 11.
The locking of the lock follower 4 and the thrust bolt 1, 2 in their two limit positions is th through the two opposite Bees (in Figs. 1-3 right and left) on the square 4a resiliently abutting leaf springs 5, 6 of the sliding bolt extensions la, 2a achieved. When the nut 4 rotates from one limit position to the other, the sliding bolts 1, 2 are moved in opposite directions from the closed position into the open position or by the link 15 connecting the extensions la, 2a to the nut 4 moved in reverse. During this movement, the pressure of the leaf springs 5, 6 against the square 4a has to be overcome.
When the cam 9b of the mortise lock cylinder 9a rotates by means of the key introduced into the mortise lock 9 in the position shown in FIG ge can be opened or closed. In this position the key cannot be removed from the mortise lock.
In order to enable the key to be removed from the mortise lock, the cam 9b must first be turned into the position according to FIG. 1 or 2 by means of the key, that is, the shut-off lever 8 must be brought into its locking position. In this position, the key can be withdrawn and the lock can still be locked by means of the rotary handle operating the nut, but no longer opened. Opening is only possible again when the locking lever 8 is brought back into its release position (FIG. 3) by means of the key that has recently been introduced into the mortise lock.
In the second exemplary embodiment according to FIG. 6, the locking lever 13, which interacts with the cam 9b of the plug lock, has been replaced by a locking pawl 14 which can also be pivoted into two positions by means of the cam 9b. This locking pawl 14 has a groove 14a in which the cam 9b of the key lock cylinder 9a can engage for the purpose of pivoting the locking pawl.
The locking pawl 14 is in operative connection with the arm 8a of the shut-off lever 8 and works with the cam 9b of the key lock cylinder in such a way that it is in one end position, in which it holds the shut-off lever in the release position, and in the other End position, in which it holds the locking lever in the locking position, allows the cam 9b to be disengaged from the groove 14a for the purpose of rotating the key lock cylinder into a position in which the key can be withdrawn therefrom.
To lock the locking pawl 14 in its two end positions, a bolt 19 (or a ball) which is sprung radially with respect to its axis of rotation is arranged in it, which is supported against one side wall of the lock case so that the locking pawl when the part 19 is in the Be tenwand of the lock case is rusted, is held in one or the other end position. When using this locking pawl, it is possible to remove the socket wrench, regardless of the position in which the locking lever 8 is located.
The relocation of the axis of rotation 7 of the shut-off lever 8 in the space between the mortise lock 9 and the socket 4 is of essential importance, since it makes it possible to make the shut-off lever 8 short and thus very resistant to bending.
