In der nachstehenden Beschreibung wer den an Hand der beigefügten Zeichnungen Ausführungsbeispiele der Erfindung näher erläutert. Es zeigen Fig. 1 einen Einbaudoppelzylinder nach der Erfindung mit gesperrtem Knauf in Seitenansicht und teilweisem Längsschnitt; Fig. 22 einen Querschnitt längs der Linie II-II der Fig.l; Fig.3 denselben Einbaudoppelzylinder mit entsperrtem Knauf in Seitenansicht und teilweisem Längsschnitt entsprechend Fig. 1;
Fig. 5.
Built-in double cylinder for mortise locks with key and handle actuation The invention is based on a built-in double cylinder for mortise locks, which is provided with a tumbler, key-operated lock cylinder and egg nem with a handle, preferably a knob, provided, tumbler-free cylinder.
The invention is concerned with the task of creating a lock for the handle cylinder so that it cannot be operated manually at any time, as with the previously customary built-in cylinders equipped with a handle, but only after unlocking with a key. This releasable lock is attached, for example, when the mortise lock provided with a built-in double cylinder is brought to a door with a glass-covered opening, in which the internal handle is gripped through the perforated opening, or it makes sense if People, e.g. B.
Children who are left behind in the room that is closed from the outside should be temporarily prevented from opening the door from the inside using a handle.
Knob cylinder locks are already known which are built into the door itself and have a separate locking nose for each knob cylinder, which act on the latch inserted from the faceplate. In certain embodiments of this type of lock, it is possible to block one knob cylinder independently of the other.
The present invention solves the task of independent handle locking in those types of built-in cylinders that are suitable for door locks with latch or bolt or both.
The invention accordingly relates to a built-in double cylinder for mortise locks, which is provided with a tumblers, key-operated lock cylinder, referred to below as a key cylinder, and a tumbler-free cylinder provided with a handle, preferably a knob, and is characterized in that a only the locking of the same, additional cylinder lock is arranged,
which is able to bring a locking member connected to the handle cylinder into and out of engagement with the key cylinder and thus make the handle rotatable on the one hand only from the key cylinder, on the other hand independently of this. Such a designed installation double cylinder can be z. B. from the outside by means of a key in any case, but only actuate the inside handle to open the door, if the locking member is out of engagement with the key cylinder locked by the attitudes. The connection between the locking member and the handle cylinder can be differently designed.
A preferred embodiment of the invention is that the locking member is carried by the cylinder of the locking lock built into the knob and is thereby indirectly connected to the knob cylinder via the knob. This locking member must be designed so that it comes into engagement with the key cylinder of the main lock depending on the position of the lock cylinder, which can be achieved by appropriate shaping, in particular to catch design of the parts that come into engagement with one another.
If the built-in double cylinder has a key cylinder in a manner known per se, which is seen with a stepped shaft penetrating the knob cylinder and a locking member lying between the two, on which the knob cylinder can rotate both freely and together with the key cylinder, that will Locking member bearing lock lock cylinder arranged ex centric to the key cylinder shaft and this shaft and the lock lock cylinder are provided with recesses on their outer surfaces bounded by an arc of a circle,
which, on the one hand, enable the key cylinder shaft and lock cylinder to be positively interlocked, and thus mutual locking coupling of the key cylinder and knob cylinder, and, on the other hand, to rotate these two cylinders independently of one another. In the latter case, the locking of the knob cylinder is canceled, and the door can also be opened from the knob side despite the locked key cylinder.
Another embodiment of the invention consists in the above-mentioned type of lock with the knob cylinder by urgent key cylinder shaft is that the locking member is axially movable relative to the key cylinder shaft and can be brought into or out of engagement with the key cylinder shaft. The locking member can be mounted coaxially to the key cylinder shaft and see, for example, ver with an axially projecting coupling claw that is able to penetrate into a corresponding transverse slot in the shaft bore.
The coupling element on the locking member can, however, also consist of a lateral projection or tooth, which can either rotate freely in an annular groove in the cylinder shank or engage positively in a longitudinal groove in the latter.
It can be seen. that the invention is not limited to the aforementioned lock type with the key cylinder shaft penetrating the knob cylinder. Rather, the invention also extends to built-in double cylinders with key and handle actuation par excellence, i.e. including those in which the key cylinder in the direction of the locking member does not extend wesent Lich beyond the area of the pin tumblers, for example beyond the inner end surface of its jacket.
In particular, axially movable locking elements come into consideration as coupling elements between the handle cylinder and the key cylinder.
In the following description who explained the embodiments of the invention with reference to the accompanying drawings. 1 shows a built-in double cylinder according to the invention with a locked knob in a side view and a partial longitudinal section; 22 shows a cross section along the line II-II of FIG. 3 shows the same built-in double cylinder with unlocked knob in side view and partial longitudinal section corresponding to FIG. 1;
FIG. 4 shows a cross section along the line IV-IV of FIG. 3, similar to FIG. ; Fig. 5 shows a modified embodiment of a built-in double cylinder with a different type of knob lock in side view and partially white longitudinal section, similar to FIG. 1, and FIG. 6 correspondingly the same built-in double cylinder with unlocked knob. Fig. 5. The built-in cylinder shown according to the invention have the usual basic construction.
They have a housing 1 of U-shaped shape in which on the one hand the key cylinder 2 with the tumblers 15 and on the other hand the knob cylinder 3 with your knob 4 attached to it are stored. The between the two cylinders 2 and 3 mounted locking member 5 is connected by a spring-loaded pair of coupling elements 7 either with the key inserted with the key cylinder 2 or with the key removed with the knob cylinder 3, so that the door either from the outside with a key or from the inside - can be opened or closed using a knob.
The key cylinder 2 is provided with a stepped shaft 8 that penetrates the locking element 5 and the knob cylinder 3 and is axially fixed to the knob cylinder by means of a ring flange 9 and a cross pin 10.
To implement the present invention, in the example according to FIGS. 1 to 4, an additional cylinder lock 11 serving only the knob locking and therefore referred to below as a lock lock is installed in the knob 4, the cylinder shaft 12 of which serves as a locking member and therefore in the Area of the key cylinder shaft 8 protrudes.
In order to make this possible, both cylinder shafts 12 and 8 each have a recess 13 (Fig. 2) and 14 (Fig. 4) with a circular arc-shaped base area, the position and radius of one shaft being matched to the other shaft, that the shafts either, as shown in Fig. 1 and 2, interlock positively, or, as can be seen in particular from Fig: 4, the locking cylinder shaft 12 can circle the key cylinder shaft 8 planet-like in the sense of the arrow drawn in uninhibited.
In the first case (locked position) the cylinder key shaft 8 blocked by tumblers 15 holds the lock lock shaft 12 in the sense that turning the knob 4 is impossible, and in the other case (release position) it can. the knob; to be turned to open the door.
In the embodiment shown in Figs. 5 and 6, the cylinder 12 'of the lock 11 is axially movably mounted in the housing and provided on its inner end with an axially projecting coupling claw 13', the cylinder shaft in a transverse slot 14 'at the opposite end of the key 8 is able to intervene when the cylinder 12 'is unlocked by key actuation and has thereby become rotatable and axially displaceable.
By mutual engagement of the parts 13 'and 14', the locking cylinder 12 'relative to the shaft 8 is non-rotatable. Now, if necessary, the lock lock housing is turned with the help of the knob 4 until the tumbler pin holes of the cylinder 12 'and the housing of the lock lock 11 are on the same radius and the tumbler pins penetrate the cylinder when the key is pulled out can so that the knob is now locked against rotation.
The extent of the axial displacement of the cylinder 12 'during this coupling process is calculated in such a way that it corresponds to the distance between two successive pin tumbler bores, which accordingly are increased by one in the housing of the lock 11.
The lock 11 is preferably provided with pin tumblers 16 that can be classified with the same key as the tumblers 15 of the key cylinder 2 who can. Basically, the locking lock 11 can be a duplicate of the key cylinder 2 assigned to the individual lock with regard to the tumblers. However, since the lock 11 does not meet the same high requirements with regard to scanning security, etc.
need to be made, it is only equipped with part of the tumblers of the key cylinder 2. In the embodiment shown in Fig. 1, only the first three of the five tumblers of the key cylinder 2 are retrieved again in the lock 11.
