Paper machine The present invention relates to a paper machine with a forming surface for the wet paper web.
When operating certain types of paper machines for the production of paper types of certain Ge weights or certain fineness, it is necessary that the machine works for a longer period of time, with only a narrow initial strip of the paper web expediently leaving the press device and being introduced into the dryer and calender.
Known devices or methods for grasping this narrow strip from the forming screen for guiding the strip through the pressing device and for feeding the strip to the dryer and to the calender have so far suffered from various disadvantages, since, especially in the production of certain types of paper, there is a risk that the following section of the paper web will not be recorded correctly, so that additional difficulties may arise when the machine starts up.
If, on the other hand, the entire paper web has been transferred to the press device to a certain point, where the web, except for the end strip, is cut and ejected, e.g. B. by means of a press scraper, a relatively large waste is created on the scraper Ab, partly not ent watered paper web, which also disrupts the orderly operation of the machine. The removal of the major part of the paper web is particularly difficult, especially in wide high-speed machines, when the usual scraper devices are used.
It should be noted that with the usual stripping devices, a suitable stripping element (knife) must be arranged opposite a bare press roller, so that it strips the web from the roller surface when it rotates against the direction of the stripping element. Since felt belts are usually used to support and transport the paper web through the press device, the arrangement of the wiping element that was customary up to now caused an additional complication when removing the waste paper from the wiper.
The main purpose of the invention is to create a paper machine which has an improved pressing device for receiving the wet paper web from the forming or screen surface of the machine and for pressing out the paper web.
The invention also aims to provide a machine which has particular advantages when the machine is started and when the paper web is being carried out through the press, without the risk of staining or any other damage to the paper web.
The paper machine according to the invention has a looped on the forming surface on receiving and press felt, which is placed around a certain to remove the paper web from the forming surface, as well as a transfer suction roller for receiving the paper web wear from the receiving suction roller coming felt, a bare press roller that interacts with the transfer suction roller to form a nipping point for directly picking up the paper web on its roller top,
Means for removing the paper web from the bare press roll after passing the clamping point and a self-cleaning stripping device which is arranged on the discharge side after the web separation point of the press roll.
In the accompanying drawings, exemplary embodiments of parts of the machine according to the invention are shown; It shows: Fig. 1 schematically a preferred embodiment of the paper receiving and reversing press device of the paper machine according to the invention, Fig. 2 schematically another embodiment of the paper receiving and pressing device of the machine and Fig. 3 schematically a further embodiment of the paper receiving and press device of the machine.
In Fig. 1 part of a Fourduier paper machine is shown. A wire 10 looped around a suction roll 11 and a drive roll 12 guides a newly formed, wet paper web W over the suction surface 13 of the roll 11 to a felt receiving or transfer belt 14. The felt belt 14 is conveyed by means of a transfer suction roll 15 at a point on the upper strand of the screen 10 between the suction roll 11 and the drive roll 12 against the paper web W presses ge.
The transfer suction roll 15 has a suction surface 16 which is effective through the felt 14 in order to transfer the paper web W onto the felt 14 by suction. As can be seen, the suction roll 15 is not in engagement with a counter roll arranged within the wire loop 10, so that it only presses the felt 14 slightly against the paper web W.
The felt 14 takes up the paper web W with its underside and then guides the web W along a horizontal felt belt run to an approximately horizontal nip point N-1. The nipping point N-1 is created by the suction roll 17 with its suction surface 18 and a bare roll 19 below the suction roll 17. As can be seen, the suction surface 18 of the suction roller 17 extends from a point shortly before the nipping point N-1 to a point on the roller 17 which is significantly behind the pressure line of the nipping point.
The felt belt 14 also runs approximately along a tangent to the bare roller 19 through the nipping point N-1. It should be noted that, for the sake of clarity, in the present schematic drawing, the felt belt 14 was only drawn approximately horizontally, while in reality the different roller sizes enable a much more precise approximation of the horizontal course of the felt belt.
After leaving the nipping point N-1 and behind the suction surface 18, the felt belt 14 follows the surface of the rotating roller 19 and is then looped around the return roller 20, from where the belt is guided over the rotatable rollers 21, 22, 23 and 24 . The last of the mentioned guide rollers cooperates with a bare press roller 25 which is arranged within the loop of the felt belt 14 and which in turn cooperates with the suction roller 26, so that a nip N-2 ge is created.
The suction roll 26 has a widened suction surface 27 which extends back from the nipping point N-2 over a relatively large distance and is completely covered by the felt belt 14 as a result of the interaction of the guide roll 24 and the press roll 25. It should be noted that the Sau roller 26 is a suction cleaning roller, which both dewatering the felt belt 14 and removes fibers and the like from the working surface of the felt belt 14. A collector 28 is provided for receiving the water removed from the suction roller 26.
The felt belt 14 moves after passing the suction surface 27 over the guide roller 29 and the guide roller 30, which is net angeord immediately in front of the suction roller 15.
As can be seen, the suction rollers 15 and 17 are provided in the usual way with a collector 31 which is conveniently arranged around the two rollers 15 and 17 and which removes the water sucked up from these rollers.
As mentioned above, the suction surface 18 of the suction roll 17 ends approximately at the nip point N-1, so that it actually causes the paper web W to be dewatered at the nip point N-1; however, the suction surface 18 does not extend far beyond the nipping point N-1, so that it does not attempt to retain water in the felt belt 14. The felt belt 14 is passed shortly after the nip N-1 of the upper surface of the suction roll 17 and along the upper surface of the bare roller 19, so that the paper web W with certainty on the smooth upper surface of the bare roller 19 remains.
As a result, the paper web W is transferred from the felt band 14 to the surface of the bare roller 19, namely at the nip point N-1, what adheres to the paper web W on the surface of this roller 19 and over the top of it hinwe- and through another nip point N-3 is passed through. The nip N-3 is created between the bare roller 19 and another suction roller 32, which is also enclosed by a collector 33 sen. Although the suction surface 34 of the suction roller 32 could run approximately along a tangent through the nip N-3 to the suction roller 32, it has been found to be practically more useful to make a slightly different arrangement here.
As can be seen, the suction surface 34 extends over a relatively large distance on both sides of the clamping point N-3, the point of greatest pressure being at the clamping point itself. The suction surface 34 is completely covered by a press felt 35. The press felt 35 is guided over guide rollers 36, 37, 38, 39, 40 and 41, so that it covers the entire suction surface 34 of the suction roller 32 within the loop of the felt 35. The felt 35 thus touches the paper web W at the nip point N-3 itself and before and after this nip point.
In this way it has been found that the felt 35 is dried very effectively, namely immediately before and after passing the nip point N-3; this is a result of the air sucked off by the suction surface 34 through the felt 35. It has also been shown that an unexpectedly better dewatering of the paper web W can be achieved at the clamping point N-3, since obviously the risk is not great that water that accumulates on the inlet side of the clamping point N-3 through this Nip point N-3 is sucked through between the felt 35 and the paper web due to low pressure. The separation of the felt 35 from the paper web W immediately after the nipping point N-3 sets the tendency for negative pressure to form between the paper web W and the felt 35 greatly.
As can be seen, the three rollers 17, 19 and 32 form a press with the two nipping points N-1 and N-3. The bare roller 19 is below, while the suction rollers 17 and 32 are above. The two suction rolls 17 and 32 are expediently aligned with one another in the horizontal direction, as shown in the drawing. The diameter of the two suction rolls 17 and 32 are not greater than half the diameter of the bare roller 19. In other words, the diameter of the bare roller 19 is at least twice as large as each of the diameters of the two suction rollers 17 and 32 and is appropriately three times this suction roll diameter (which are approximately the same size among themselves).
The purpose of these different roll diameters, whereby the diameter of the bare roll can be two to four times the suction roll diameter, is that the press rolls 17, 19, 32 can be arranged so that the paper web runs almost horizontally through the entire press can. This is achieved by bringing the rollers 17 and 32 almost horizontally into alignment with each other and thereby arranging them relatively close to one another, while the bare roller is arranged under half of these suction rollers.
As already mentioned, the small size of the guide rollers 20 and 41 selected in practice allows a particular close juxtaposition of the two suction rollers 17 and 32. The most important thing is that a transport path for the paper web is chosen that does not allow sudden changes in direction The paper web occurs on its way from the felt belt 14 through the nip point N-1 to the top of the bare roller 19, through the nip point N-3 and away from it. Most expediently, this transport path of the paper web is chosen horizontally.
It is also desirable that the first strand of the felt belt 14 runs approximately along a tangent to the roller 17 through the nip point N-1 in order to avoid; that the paper web experiences a sudden change of direction here (which is shown in FIG. 3, in which the transport path of the paper web is not selected horizontally).
In general, most paper webs tend to adhere to the smooth surface of the bare roller rather than to any other surface (e.g. the surface of a felt belt, if no suction is provided); this fact is also used in the present case. As can be seen particularly in Figure 1, the nipping point N-1 is placed in the direction of movement of the web slightly above the lowermost suction roll point ge; this is an inevitable phenomenon in a press of the present type.
In general, such deviations of the nip from the horizontal lower tangent to the suction roll do not exceed about 30, and in this case the nip is referred to as being arranged horizontally, since its effect on the paper web passing it remains practically the same as with an exactly horizontal clamping point. It should also be noted that such small deviations from the exact horizontal position of the clamping point cause a smaller deflection and thus disruption of the paper web than is the case with a deflection of the web by 90 or more. In any case, it must be ensured that the suction roller 17, the bare roller 19 and the felt belt 14 are arranged in such a way that the paper web is transferred to the bare roller.
This is achieved because the suction surface 18 is only brought close to the clamping point N-1 and / or the felt belt 14 is guided over a short distance directly over the clamping point N-1 over the surface of the bare roller. In this way it is achieved that the paper web, which initially adheres to the felt belt 14 as a result of the action of the suction surface 18, detaches from this belt and instead adheres to the smooth surface of the blank roller.
On the downward moving side of the blan ken roller 19 with respect to the clamping point N-3 rule somewhat different conditions. Initially, the paper web W adheres to the surface of the bare roller 19 and then passes through the nip N-3; by then, the felt 35 and the paper web W have not yet come into contact with one another, so that there is no stronger attraction of the paper web by the felt 35 than before the felt and paper web entered the clamping point N-3. The contact between the paper web W and the felt 35 at the nipping point N-3 is of course only brief.
After the nipping point N-3, the felt 35 is abruptly led away from the web and follows the surface of the press roll 32, while the paper web W is guided downwards. The effect of gravity, inertia and the adherence of the paper web W to the surface of the bare roller thus results, together with the sudden path of the felt 35 from the direction of movement of the paper web through the nipping point N-3, a perfect separation of the paper web W from Felt immediately after passing the nipple point N-3.
During normal start-up of the machine, the suction in the take-up roll 15 (and if desired also in the suction rolls 17 and 32) can be reversed; the entire paper web W is then transferred to the underside of the felt belt 14 and then to the surface of the bare roller 19. The paper web W then passes the nipping points N-1 and N-3 and tries to adhere to the surface of the bare roller 19, so that it migrates downwards on this roller against the stripping device 42.
The stripping device 42 is expediently arranged on the downward moving side of the bare roller 19, so that a self-cleaning stripping device is created; However, this would also be the case if the stripping device were arranged in the lower half of the rising side of the bare roller 19. By the stripping device 42 is arranged on the descending side of the bare roller 19, it comes to lie approximately in the zone in which the entire paper web W is removed from the surface of the bare roller 19 during operation of the machine.
When the machine is started up, the paper web follows the surface of the blank roller 19 on its descending side and is then released from this roller surface by means of the stripping device 42, so that waste B arises, as is Darge with dashed lines in the drawing; this waste B is of course collected in a suitable collector, not shown here.
The stripping device 42 is arranged in such a way that it cleans itself of the waste accumulating during the start-up of the machine, in such a way that a correct web strip can be pulled off the descending side of the bare roller 19 and fed to the remaining parts of the machine. So this strip z. B. be stripped by means of a small auxiliary scraper 43 from the bare roller 19 abge, as shown in Fig. 1, or this strip can be stripped by another suitable device from the roller.
What is important in this context is that the self-cleaning wiper device 42 removes the waste from the paper web W without it accumulating in an undesirable manner; the general arrangement of the press rollers and felt belts made here makes this measure necessary.
The initial strip formed when the machine is put into operation or the paper web formed during normal operation of the machine is then guided from the surface of the bare roller at the exit of the nipping point N-3 by open tension around a guide roller 44 and applied to a suitable felt belt 45 . Once the machine has been put into operation, the starting strip or the paper web has sufficient strength after leaving the nipping point N-3 to be able to be guided away from the bare roller, as shown; it then pulls itself off automatically from the descending side of the bare roller.
The paper web W then arrives, as mentioned, on the felt 45, which is held in approximately horizontal alignment by the rollers 46 and 47 and the lower suction roll 48 of the reversing press 49. As can be seen, the reversing press 49 has an upper bare roll 50 and a lower felt covered suction roll 48 which has a suction surface suitably positioned between the rolls 48 and 50 at nip N-4. In this way it is achieved that the upper side of the paper web W is pressed against a bare rotating surface of the roller 50, so that in this press a pressing process in the opposite direction to the pressing process in the preceding press takes place.
If the suction surface 51 does not extend beyond the nip N-4, the paper web W tends to follow the ascending side of the roller 50 (shown in dashed lines) for a short distance; however, the web then returns to the horizontal, unwinding strand of the felt 45. The deviation of the path of the paper web W after the clamping point N-4 from the felt 45, which is drawn with dashed lines, is of course exaggerated. The paper web passes from the felt 45 to the drying device and the calender (not shown).
In the example of FIG. 3, a double press is also provided. This double press, however, differs significantly from that of the example shown in FIG. According to FIG. 3, a shaped screen 100 is guided over a suction roller 101 and is looped around a drive roller 102 in such a way that the freshly produced paper web W reaches a receiving felt belt 104 via the suction surface 103 of the suction roller 101. The felt belt 104 is pressed by a suction roller 105 at a point on the upper run of the forming screen 100 between the suction roller 101 and the drive roller 102 against the paper web W '.
This arrangement corresponds in general to the arrangement made in the example of FIG. The felt belt 104 is guided around a guide roller 106 and over the suction surface 107 of the suction roll 105, where it picks up the paper web W 'with its underside and then at a sharp angle upwards to the first press clamping point N-11 leads. This first clamping point N-11 is created between a suction press roller 108 arranged within the loop of the felt belt 104 and a bare roller 110; the suction roll 108 is surrounded by a collector 109.
As already explained in connection with FIG. 1, the suction surface 111 of the suction roller 108 extends in front of the clamping point N-11, but does not protrude far beyond this clamping point. The felt belt 104 is guided by a guide roller 112 so that it follows the rotating surface of the bare roller 110 over a short distance, whereby it is ensured that the paper web W adheres to the surface of the bare roller 110. According to FIG. 3, a double press is provided in this example, in which the paper web does not follow an approximately hori zontal path. This arrangement is before part if, for.
B. the paper web W 'would not adhere particularly well to the underside of the receiving felt belt 104 if the latter were to run horizontally; in this case the felt belt 104 runs upwards, so that the total distance of the belt is shortened, which contributes to the fact that the paper web W 'adheres properly to the felt belt 104 up to the nipping point N-11. It should be noted that it is expedient to pass the felt belt 104 through the clamping point N-11 in its part carrying the paper web to the clamping point N-11, as is the case in the example shown .
As in the example according to FIG. 1, in the example according to FIG. 3 the paper web W 'runs over the top of the bare roller 110 and adheres to this roller; it then arrives on the descending side of this bare roller 110 to the second clamping point N-12. The nipping point N-12 is formed between the bare roller 110 and a suction roller 113 which cooperates with a felt belt 114 which in turn rests against the bare roller 110; the arrangement here is analogous to that in the example of FIG. 1, where the suction roller 32 with the felt 35 and the bare roller 19 together menacts.
In other words, the suction roller 113 has a wide suction surface 115, which protrudes a relatively large distance to the front and rear over the clamping section 112 and is completely covered by the felt belt 114. The felt belt 114 is guided over guide rollers 116 and 117.
As can be seen in the drawing, the felt belt 114 is only available for a short distance; H. in contact with the paper web W 'only along the line of maximum pressure at the nip 112; this has the consequence that the paper web W 'remains adhered to the bare roller 110 even after the nipping point. In this example, too, the stripping device 118 acts in the same way with the bare roller 110 together, as has been described in connection with FIG. 1 for the roller 19 and the stripping device 42 be; it is therefore not necessary here to go into more detail on this matter.
The paper web W '(or the starting strip when the machine is started up) is then removed from this roller on the descending side of the bare roller 110 and passes via a guide roller 119 into a drying device 120. The dried paper web 122 leaves the drying drum 121 of the drying device 120 and is guided away via a guide roller 123.
In the example according to FIG. 2, the forming screen 200 of the machine is guided over a suction roller 201 and wrapped around a reversing roller 202; the wire 200 carries the freshly produced paper web W "over the suction surface 203 of the suction roll 201 to a receiving felt belt 204. The felt belt 204 is by a suction roll 205 at a point on the upper run of the forming wire 200 between the suction roll 201 and the drive roll 202, approximately as in the example described above, pressed against the paper web W ".
The felt belt 204 leads over a suitably arranged guide roller 206 onto the suction surface 207 of the suction roll 205, so that it is lightly pressed against the paper web W "lying on the wire 200, the transition of the paper web W" onto the felt belt by suction 204 takes place. The felt belt 204 carries the paper web W ″ on its underside in an approximately horizontal direction to a first press clamping point N-21; this clamping point N-21 is created between the suction roll 207, which lies within the loop of the felt belt 204, and a bare roll 208, which is arranged under half of the suction roll 207.
As mentioned above, in all versions of the paper machine in question, the bare press roll is conveniently arranged below the suction roll with which it creates the first clamping point, so that the transition of the paper web to this bare roll is guaranteed at this point. In the example according to FIG. 2, one strand of the felt belt 204 runs approximately horizontally from the forming screen 200 through the first clamping point N-21 to a guide roller 209 around which the felt belt 204 is deflected upwards (e.g.
B. as in the example of FIG. 1 to be guided to a cleaning suction roll). The suction rolls 205 and 207 are in the usual manner from a collector 210 to give. The suction surface 211 of the suction roller 207 is arranged approximately the same as the suction surface at the first clamping point of the examples according to FIGS. 1 and 3, i.e. H. the suction surface 211 extends a greater distance from the clamping point N-21 backwards to approximately this clamping point, but practically not beyond the clamping point.
For the reasons mentioned above, the paper web W ″ tries to adhere to the descending side of the bare roller 208; the stripping device 212 provided here interacts with the roller 208 in the same way as in connection with FIGS 3 for the rollers 19 and 110 and the scrapers 42 and 118 has been described ben.
As shown in Fig. 2, the paper web W "passes from the surface of the bare roller 208 via a guide roller 213 on a press felt 214; the latter runs with its upper run between two guide rollers 215 and 216 horizontally over a suction roller 217, the inside the loop of the felt 214. The felt 214 thus carries the paper web in the horizontal direction to a second clamping point N-22. The clamping point N-22 is designed as a reverse clamping point, by pressing the top of the paper web W ″ against a rotating surface of a bare roller 218.
The bare roller 218 is arranged directly above the suction roller 217 , with which it cooperates to create the nipping point N-22. Here, too, the suction surface 219 of the suction roll is arranged in such a way that it extends back from the nip point N-22 a short distance behind this nip point; in doing so, it acts to remove any water that tends to collect on the back of the nip N-22.
